Sucre is an awesome little gem off the beaten path of downtown Stuart. You can smell the fresh baked goods from the street as you approach this quaint authentic French bakery. While the inside is small and has no available seating, there are plenty of spots outside to enjoy your sandwich, pastry, and coffee. The service is friendly and staff is very helpful and willing to walk you through their selection and offer great suggestions.

Went back the next day because I could not stop thinking about the cannoli cruffin. This is a must-try. So good. I also got a cheddar bacon jalapeño pastry that was tasty and filling. I just love this place

An inviting and cute little bakery with tasty goodies. We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon without realizing they were closing in a few minutes. Marissa gave us a warm greeting and was very welcoming. Wonderful service is always appreciated, as is freshly baked dessert. The berry chocolate croissant was a standout, as it was fresh, flakey and absolutely delicious. Nestled on a side street one block from the center of town, this bakery is worth a stop.

Super cute bakery with a variety of savory and sweet pastries. We were greeted with a cheerful lady behind the counter that was very nice and helpful. There is a shaded patio out front for eating.

Hidden, little gem. Decided to try this place based upon a recommendation from our foodie friends... what an experience. Patrick greeted us with his wisdom of the remaining selections... Here's what we tried; 2 lemon curd twists, flourless peanut cookie, croissant, Belgian chocolate raspberry croissant, mini carrot cake and oat blueberry bar! ALL WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Def highly recommended to give this place a try if you enjoy fabulous French pastry, coffees and quiche

Ten stars if I could! An adorable place with real French style baked goods. Croissants are absolutely the best! Good thing we don't live too close but would consider moving here just to eat here more often!

New assortments tried for new recs! I didn't love the berry almond croissants. The muffins were great, as was the pecan sticky bun.

This is a fabulous bakery. We went to Paris recently, and I believe that some of the things in this bakery are even better.

Warned I would have…read moreto get there early, (before 8 am) or they'd be sold out, with high expectations, I decided to take the plunge. And so, I set my alarm to begin my donut mission. At 6:30 am I showed up at the door of Jupiter Donuts awaiting my pot of gold. Or in this case my donut nirvana! I'll be the first to admit, I'm not looking for what some consider the ideal donut. You know the ones that have a multitude of weird toppings. I'm driven more by the texture and taste of the cake. Thin airy Boston creams with little filling, glazed donuts that are too sweet and have no substance are all too commonplace for my liking. Having said all that, you won't find any of that at Jupiter Donuts. However, in order to be the "best", it has to stand out from all others and this is where Jupiter Donuts doesn't quite make the grade. I mixed up my choices to assure a good representation choosing a frosted chocolate cake, a Boston cream, a chocolate frosted glazed and a sour cream. I guess because of all the advance kudos, my expectations were probably not realistic. And perhaps no place could live up to the high praise and subsequent anticipation I had. Unfortunately, although their donuts were good, I most assuredly wouldn't get up at 6am or wait in line for one. On an individual note, the best was the Boston cream with plenty of filling and a firm (not airy) cake. I'd have to say, I enjoyed this donut the most. I'd give it a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. My favorite donut is usually a frosted chocolate cake. Jupiters was good but definitely not the best I've had. Score it a 7. The sour cream as well as the chocolate frosted were average at best with both coming in at a 6. All were good but none were great. I must admit, I'm spoiled by the fresh-from-the-oven old fashioned donuts I enjoyed as a child at a place called Tices Farm. The smell and taste of those donuts still resonates with me after all these years. Perhaps those memories assure no donut place will ever live up to my initial donut experience. But my search will go one for that one donut in a million.

The area isn't the nicest, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it. The place is very clean, cozy, and simple. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch. By the way, they have a very interesting menu with Hungarian options, some elevated American variations, and several Italian dishes.

Came to Stuart for a wedding and found this restaurant called Berry Fresh Cafe. I love a good diner…read moreso I was excited. Little did I know this was going to be, arguably, my FAVORITE DINER I've ever been to. Location: The spot itself is so nice. Smushed in between an IHOP and a Chinese Restaurant, Berry Fresh Cafe feels like a lighthouse-- a shinning light of amazing diner food you won't experience in other places. The restaurant has a very beautiful Grandma's house kind of vibe. It reminded me of going to my grandma's house as a kid. My favorite was the brick walls; very nice astehtic. Service: Tim was our server and he was literally the best! He was so kind and treated us like genuine family. He took the time to go over the menu and gave us great recommendations. A few other people actually brought our food and they were so kind as well! Overall, perfect service. Food: I'm going to say a controversial statement: I HATE GRITS AND DON'T LIKE HAM, buuuuuuuuut, I greatly enjoyed the ham and the grits were very good. Berry Fresh Cafe made me rethink what foods I despise. It was that good. The monstrosity that was the Rought Night Burger was everything that someone like me would love. My family got the Ultimate Breakfast Stackwich and they had nothing but great things to say. Also, their cinnamon rolls are heaven-sent. Crispy in the right places and soft in others. The food here was perfection incarnate. Price: I know prices are always a touchy subject, but this place could be a bazillion dollars and I would pay it GLADLY! Prices range from $11 - $20, which is normal for most diners these days, but again, the food was so good that I would pay it gladly. Cleanliness: Bathroom wasn't perfect, but it was definitely clean. The restaurant itself however was spotless. I get really picky when it come to clean tables --I despise sticky tables, and this place was great. My experience here is the classic example of a 5-star experience. I genuinely loved this place and will come back as soon as I can. See you tomorrow Berry Fresh Cafe PS. The place does have an 18% server charge, but they are very clear that it exists and I respect that. And service is so good that you'll want to leave more.
