In addition, the customer service is probably more stellar than their stellar coffee flavored ice cream, which means both are out of this world, exceptional! The teens and/ young adults they have working there are courteous, pleasant and a joy to interact with, as they seem genuinely happy to be working and don't treat you in a sullen manner. Truly a wonderful experience in customer care and a great product. I've had their stellar coffee before and it is truly divine, but I decided it was time to try something else, so I went for chocolate fudge brownie and cappuccino crunch on a cake cone! Wonderful and divine flavors to have on a hot day! They have tables inside and out and since the humidity wasn't too bad I chose to sit outside so I could finish my ice cream. Other children were playing the corn bag throw game they have outside while parents watched and socialized. Yes a truly fine ice cream parlor experience that brings you back to the lazy, hazy days of summer when being greeted with a hello and smile lets you know you are "home!" Thank you for a well priced, ice cream experience served courtesy and joy!

Superb. I asked for coconut ice cream, which was killer delicious. It's a small banana split, exactly what I wanted. Delicious.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival and swiftly escorted to our table, which offered a lovely view of the bar area and a musician playing genuinely cool, soulful music. The energy in the room was vibrant, welcoming, and effortlessly chic -- the kind of atmosphere that immediately lets you know you're somewhere special. Our server, Lizzie, was an absolute standout. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, with such a bright and genuine spirit. Her guidance through the menu was thoughtful and spot-on, and she truly elevated the entire dining experience. We began with the specialty oysters and the tuna poke. The tuna was clearly sushi-grade and incredibly fresh, served with house-made wonton chips that were nothing short of outstanding. The oysters were beautifully presented and came with a phenomenal variety of accompaniments that complemented them perfectly. For entrées, we chose the sweet potato-crusted grouper with truffle fries and plantains, as well as the crusted snapper served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Both dishes were expertly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully plated. I must also note that the portion size of the fresh Florida fish was incredibly generous -- easily enough to feed two people, which was a wonderful surprise and tremendous value. We also requested a customized margarita, and the bartender nailed it -- perfectly balanced and exactly what we had in mind. From the ambiance to the service, cocktails, and exceptional food, Sophia's delivered a truly memorable dining experience. We left impressed, happy, and already planning our return. This is a gem in Hobe Sound, and we will absolutely be back.

Opened in 2017 it is a hybrid ice cream store, bar, and coffee shop surrounded by art studios. If you are so inclined you can float ice cream in a craft beer. You can also order off the full menu of the Twisted Tuna next door. They are dog friendly so feel free to bring your pooch. The view of the Manatee Pocket is divine. Boats are docked feet away and you can book a scenic cruise here. I was in more of a beer mood than ice cream. I checked out their menu and saw that they serve craft beer from local breweries like Funky Buddha, Sailfish, Sweetwater, and Big Top. After checking out their $4 drink special menu I picked the Strawberry Berret Draft from barrel of Monks because anything with strawberries is A-OK by me. Unfortunately I was over charged for my drink and it was a hassle to fix it so I let it ride because I was just so grateful to be out by the water, sipping a beer, and enjoying life that I didn't even care. When you order a special I suggest mentioning it. This a super cute place perfect for enjoying the best of what Florida has to offer.

Tucked into an unassuming strip mall next to the big Verizon store and behind the DD, the tinted windows subdue the brightly lit colorful interior. Being the only person in the shop at the time, I was enthusiastically greeted by a young lady who came from the back, where they make all their delicious gelatos. The shop was immaculate and even had cornhole right at the entrance, and self serve reach-in cases in the back, filled with other great flavors, Gelato sandwiches, and I even saw a gelato key lime pie! We tried several flavors before selecting the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. As a gelato enthusiast, I was happy to see that the gelato is stored in gelato pans because typically that presents a more authentic experience and taste. However, I would say this was more of a doughy ice cream consistency and taste, rather than a dense, silky and creamy gelato. Gelato is typically made with more milk, less cream and little to no eggs. Mattys appears to possibly use cream and eggs based off of the airy and doughy texture. Just some constructive criticism to potentially help the business for the future!

The business is run by Italians Silvia and Franco and on our night, assisted by grandson Alessandro. In the day it is a well stocked wine retail establishment with additional specialty items curated from Italy. But they offer a dining experience for up to 12 at 6:30pm The menu is set by Chef Franco and he will shop the finest local ingredients that day. Some of the shelf stable items are sourced from Italy like flour and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The entire experience feels as if you are visiting a good friend in Italy. We normally eat early and fast. At this experience we savored each course and paired it with wines suggested by Silvia and others in our party who had an interest in wine. Every bite was wonderful. We finished at 9:30pm and felt perfectly satisfied. The next morning my wife and I both noticed no reflux. To me that is the hallmark of high quality food and wine well prepared and enjoyed despite eating later than usual. Treat yourselves for a very special occasion.

Great mixture of select wine and foods from Italy. Sylvia was so nice and informative; offering wine to pair with our orders along with detailed explanations of Italian cooking and courtier. We were the only ones dining for lunch so we had a lovely time. The food parade started with the Zucchini Blossom (filled with mozzarella cheese) - OMG was that delicious. On to the next tapa was the Summer Capri - OMG 2 with an 18yo balsamic. Next up was the Pizza Alta Pisana - hands down THE BEST pizza we've EVER had. Made with the same 72hr dough as the Focaccia and with grated parmigiana cheese instead of mozzarella. Half with capers and drizzled with EVOO. Sylvia suggested Moscato for my sweet tooth queen and me a cab blend that was hearty without the sulfates. For the grand finale, we had homemade Profiteroles with cream and dark chocolate. Grand slam! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FINE ESTABLISHMENT for lunch or dinner. Call for reservations Thank you Franco and Sylvia - we'll see you soon

A 5pm reservation would make one think, quality service and a fresh hot kitchen! Well something certainly has changed in the last few months because we received neither! After explaining to our server how excited we were to be there for Mother's Day and how it was our parents first visit we placed an order of 3 appetizers (all more bland and less hot than they should be) - keep in mind the restaurant was mostly empty. As we waited for our entrees (an unusually long time) our server didn't check on drinks or water. When 3 of our 4 entrees did come out, we waited for the 4th as manners would expect. Five minutes, 10 minutes, still nothing. When I finally was able to flag down our server there was some excuse about "mixed up tickets" and that a "manager would be right over." 15 more minutes, all were done with their meals as my husband still awaited his entree. No manager, no server. Completely unacceptable. As my sweet husband cut into his filet, completely over cooked and rubbery, was supposed to be medium- he dare not send it back as everyone else was done and he felt terrible. To make matters worse, my father's fish, was loaded with blood line, ruining the flavor of the meat of the snapper. The least they could do was send a manager over. $200 later- (no alcohol) we will definitely never be back and you shouldn't waste your time or money either. There are plenty of other great restaurants around that will take far better care of you and your family.
