It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

They told me to pull around to customer pickup around the building by the trucks. I do so and they open the side door and the bed is all in pieces and parts all over the floor. I said WHAT is this. Rebecca said it would be all wrapped up and ready to go. They said OH SORRY there must have been a miscommunication, we will wrap it now. Can we also have your paper work. My husband gave all papers / receipts. So they wrap it up loosely in big bags, help put in it my truck. We arrive home and quickly get to work putting this together. ONE . It is missing hardware. The Sales Associate told us that the set would be durable (it isn't), that they never have sales (they do), and that they stand behind your product (they don't). After less than 20 uses total, the powder coat is peeling everywhere, the umbrella ripped, and the table boards are warped. Yard Bird's response: Did something happen to your chairs to cause those chips in the paint? Afer several back and forth emails, I was sent a free touch up pen. Seriously? I have provided a copy of the three year warranty and now I can't get any response. Prior to this purchase I had a set for over 25 years and not a single chip. Worst purchase I have made in over a decade.

Basically pick your favorite furniture, then at the designer appointment sort out your fabrics (1,500 to choose from) and cushion material (3 to choose from). She even offered to come out to our house as a courtesy and part of the whole package. Our "interior designer" was excellent, very attentive and engaged. They pride themselves in being interior designers and not just furniture sales people. Ethan Allen tends to have traditional or classic designs, but have recently expanded their horizons into more transitional designs. If you're in the market for high quality furniture and have a few bills to spend, this may be the place.

American freight is basically unresponsive. They're sending us some sort of a dryer test kit, but it has been 10 days since they said they sent it.
