So much needs improvement. I am absolutely shocked at what happened today. I consider FR a step up from AFW so I thought I would purchase a bed for my daughter there. We went and fell in love w the Cinderella white bed size FULL. They had only the floor model and staged. We bought it. Rebecca was my sales lady. She told me the guys would disassemble it and have it all wrapped up for me when I come back for pickup at 5. So I arrive w my husband and our truck. They told me to pull around to customer pickup around the building by the trucks. I do so and they open the side door and the bed is all in pieces and parts all over the floor. I said WHAT is this. Rebecca said it would be all wrapped up and ready to go. They said OH SORRY there must have been a miscommunication, we will wrap it now. Can we also have your paper work. My husband gave all papers / receipts. So they wrap it up loosely in big bags, help put in it my truck. We arrive home and quickly get to work putting this together. ONE . It is missing hardware. TWO. It is missing a metal slat part that slips into the side rail and headboard. THREE. He never gave us back my paper work and receipt. Now please, answer your phone so I may speak with you. Stopped by this location (again) thinking after 10+ years that my experience may change. Walked by numerous people standing around and made eye contact too. The only difference is other than the eye contact no one said a word. I didn't dress like I was homeless either and wandered around for 20+ minutes. The furniture looked great and the place looked inviting but I could only guess who was actually working and who wasn't. You walk in an immediately know you've been targeted by one of their sales folks. A minute into the door, you're being approached by said sales person. "We're just looking and will let you know if we need anything", is customers response but sales person responds, "I'll come check on you in a bit". No, I will let you know if I need anything. Coming over multiple times after I continue to walk away and ignore you, does not mean to continue to HARASS me! After the third time, we left. Their promotion was not clear. I was told they were offering a 10% discount on dinning and bedrooms. After the purchase noted the discount was not what I was advised. I was then told the discount was only for dinning and bed frames only. Also nothing is in stock and we will have to wait 2-3mo for our items to arrive. There is a chance it could be longer according to the sales associate. We will wait a little bit but may end up canceling. I asked if we could purchase the floor models of the dining room and bedroom set. I was advised they don't sell the models because they would be able to get future orders. read more

Edward was amazing in helping us choose a dining room set--his service was top-notch. Unfortunately, we later realized the table wouldn't fit in our home, and that's when we learned there are no returns or exchanges allowed, even though the set is still brand new and in its original packaging. We were ready to purchase a reclining sectional worth significantly more than the table--around \$3,500--but were told the \$500 table couldn't be returned or credited toward the new purchase. That decision ultimately cost the store a bigger sale and a loyal customer. I understand having policies, but some flexibility in situations like this could go a long way in keeping customers happy and coming back. Purchased a "leather" sofa/recliner that was delivered April 30, 2024. Eight months later, the "leather" is flaking off in multiple spots. A whole eight months for this "quality" piece of furniture. Reached out to customer service because it's still under warranty. The customer rep told me this is "painted leather." Had the sales person in the store been honest about that, we wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. Buyer beware. Looks like they are going to credit us for this purchase and allow us to get something else so I appreciate that. We bought a beautiful distressed wood dining room table a couple of months ago with seating for 8 we just love! Went back a few weeks later to buy the $375 centerpiece on the table when we bought it. This store has unique ornamental pieces like this you don't see anywhere else. We also bought a 7' x 10' living room rug which we had to return because of shedding. Obviously defective. Customer service took a few phone calls but helpful when you could get them. We actually exchanged the rug for another from Furniture Row and love it! We were very fortunate to find another we loved because we discovered they do not offer refunds - only store credit! So 1 star off for that. read more

Very disappointing. We spent $3000 on a bedroom set, it was delayed by 3 months last year, finally received our June/July delivery in October. Yeah, COVID supply chain delay. But, 2 months after we had it the headboard started falling apart. We called, could not find our salesman and had to escalate to get to talk to him to ask for another headboard: they said no, they'd have to send me a whole bed, and it would take 'awhile' Here it is, almost July 2002, and we still don't have a bedroom set that is not falling apart! read more

We ordered a couch from furniture Row in late October and were told it would be delivered to our home in mid-February. It's now mid-April and I just called and they said it'll probably get delayed to early June. I totally get that things are delayed with Covid times, but we've never received a call to inform us that things are further delayed. We never would've ordered a couch if we knew it would take eight months. The person on the phone said that they come from China and that's why, and admitted they have no idea when it'll actually arrive. I would advise people to do their research and try to purchase from somewhere that doesn't ship from overseas. Update 4/21: After physically going into the store to ask them what's going on they told us that it just happened to come in that day. This review is more for the quality of the furniture we purchased not for the Customer Service of furniture row which has been outstanding, they have tried everything they can do to fix the problem but unfortunately the quality of the furniture we purchased is just poor quality. And this is a consumer warning for this specific brand. About a year ago we purchased a table by Fusion Designs from Furniture Row quality was poor. Furniture Row has tried their best to resolve the situation replacing nearly every piece of originally delivered furniture multiple times. (Items are packed by the manufacturer and come in boxes) but the quality of the product that they are selling is definitely not Amish quality!! Additionally the company fusion designs does not stand behind their products and refuses to deliver a quality product as shown in the Furniture Row show room. We invested in this set thinking it would be a lifelong set that we could keep in cherish and it's definitely no better than a big box store or American furniture warehouse quality product is just not good. read more

Update: Manager Misha (sp?) reached out to make amends. We ended up receiving a full refund on the bedroom set. Hopefully, going forward they will be forthcoming on realistic turn-around times for furniture delivery when a sale is made. Had we been informed of the delay, we might have opted for something that was in stock (at the time) and available for delivery. After reading other reviews, it is apparent that delivering the wrong furniture is a delay tactic for this outfit. We purchased a bedroom set (with bed storage). They brought the furniture that we ordered a month and a half later complete with the wrong bed. After refusing delivery, Brandon (the manager on duty) called and assured that it was an "honest mistake". He convinced us to take delivery of the other pieces on the promise that the correct bed would be delivered within a month. Fast forward 4 months, after calling repeatedly for updates: We were told by Lindsay(sp?) to expect delivery mid-April, this being that this conversation took place on April 14th. After visiting the store and pointing out that we were already in mid-April, she basically acknowledged that she had no idea when the bed would arrive and commenced blaming the entire mismanagement and misleadings on the Covid epidemic. Upon leaving the store, we paid a visit to Colorado Casual Furniture. We found a set that could be (and was delivered) the next day. Upon informing Furniture Row Manager Brandon of our decision to cancel the order (because we have family coming into town in a week, and are in need of a bed for the spare bedroom), he informed me that he would give us a refund, but keep the delivery fee ($116.20). We have spent several thousand dollars at Furniture Row over several years, on multiple occasions. However, going forward, we will never spend another penny with this outfit. Dealing with Colorado Casual Furniture, thus far has been a wonderful experience. The salesman, Mike, was upfront in informing us that additional piece that we wanted, would probably not be available until August. The owner, Jeff, took personal responsibility for properly setting our expectations and placing the outstanding order. Admittedly, we spent $1,600 more at CCF, but the level of product quality and customer satisfaction made the deal much more worthwhile!!! read more

I spent a couple days looking around for the table and chairs I wanted to get to update for the holiday party I was throwing. Found the table I wanted at Furniture Row Dining, and chairs that might work. Called to see if they had the table and was told they did. When I went in to see it and buy it, turns out it was at the warehouse not the store. And the chairs were at a regional location and wouldn't be in till end of December. Seeing as how my party was in two days, this was a problem. They managed to get the table in for me the next day (though it was a hassle because I had to go with my kids after the Nutcracker the next day). Ended up getting chairs elsewhere. So in the end, good selection (love my table) but make sure you clarify with them what "in stock" means. read more

We ordered furniture back in January and spent several thousand with the Terry at Furniture Row in Huntsville Al. He bragged on how good his customer service was. We quickly figure out this was he was just putting on a show. We understand that things are back ordered, and we have been waiting for 6 months on a few pieces to finish our set. This is not why I am writing this this review. It is the worst follow up customer service I have ever received. It seems like no one wants to take responsibility. All I ask for is for someone to keep us in the loop. It is bad when we have to call to receive bad news. Now there are saying we will not have a complete living room set until October!!!!! I bought a Doctor's Choice pillow and really liked it, however the instructions say you can wash it. I did wash it following the instructions and it completely destroyed the pillow. When checking in store about this, I got a pretty condescending treatment with employees trying to blame it on me having washed it improperly. "Graciously" I was offered a 5% discount on a new pillow, but at that point I decided to pass. I do not like being mislead on product characteristics nor do I appreciate condescending treatment when the product does not hold up as suggested. read more

We ordered a sectional in Sept for our basement from furniture row. We Needed it for the holidays. When they delivered it last week, they could not get it in our basement the hallway was to narrow. FR would not give us a refund so we tried to find something there, of course they have nothing in stock And anything that was in stock was small enough to fit or was ugly. The smaller piece we needed for the couch would not be in until January. The manager said I should keep the two pieces i had and just deal with it. We were frantic And of course no refund only exchange. We did not know this as i have never had something delivered that would not fit. We headed to AFW - the salesman ran all over the store with me to measure sofas to find one that would fit And was in stock. The sofa came and again they couldn't get it down. The driver asked if i wanted a refund. This was heaven to me as I was fighting with FR for my money back on the first sofa. Instead i said no lets find something and again they helped us find a couch. They did not charge me a re stocking fee either. I have spent over 10k at FR and now i have to spend a credit there for things i don't need because they will not refund you. I am not going to FR ever again. FR should be a little lenient in their return policy during these times with no inventory update: they made it right, thank you FR! read more

Update: 2.5 months later, we still haven't received our chairs that were supposed to arrive on Dec 21st. We've been standing at our dining room table to eat for 2.5 months. It seems the ball is being continuously dropped. We called earlier this week, told there were 4 in stock and a manager would return our call the next day. We had to call today to follow up ourselves. Ball dropped on not delivering our chairs, for the second time, in December/January. Ball dropped on not scheduling the 4 of 8 chairs to be delivered that are currently in stock. Ball dropped by not returning our call the next day or even the day after that. Our China hutch was supposed to be delivered mid-February. No China hutch or an expected delivery date. This is not the service I expected from Furniture Row. It's been a very dissapointing experience. Selection: very large selection of furniture. Service: good friendly service. There is always someone there to answer you questions. Staff knowledge: fairly good. Could be better. However, the is a large selection. Quality: there seems to be a wide selection in quality. You can find something from affordable to great quality. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Delivery: this is where I dock a star. I wad told delivery is $90. After I made the purchase, I saw it was bumped up to $190. I am not happy about this at all. Makes me consider not shopping here again. I feel that I got swindled. One item was not in stock. They wanted to charge me for a second delivery. I would have not purchased if they did. We still see how the actual deliver process goes. Update: Delivery charges were miscommuniced. The furniture is nice and priced pretty well. My issue is service and transparency. We have been consistently lied to about the delivery of our pieces. We are constantly given a date that cannot make sense, they will give me a window of time that would require the pieces to actually be almost here and already on the transport. Then a week later they push me out another 30 days? How can my furniture be here in a week one day and a month the other? Their communication is horrible and unless I ask I'm not getting anything. We have actually bought 2 beds here over the years and loved both. We shopped all over for a new bed and found that you really couldn't beat the quality of the product for the price. Sure you can get a particle bed for a few hundred less at AFW, but I want a bed to last (and I can spend the money)! My one complaint is their delivery sucks ass. We bought a bed IN STOCK and it took them over 10 days to deliver it! RIDICULOUS. We actually purchased a mattress at Denver Mattress next door and they warned us that the mattress would probably be delivered way before the bed if we didn't have them call and coordinate. Bought a table, chair and bench set here 3 years ago and purchased a 5 year protection plan. The pieces have been loosing important structural screws. And the vinyl on the benches is badly cracked, the rivets are falling out. So we contacted them about coming out to repair or replace pieces. We were back and forth with the insurance company they have chosen to use, Great White Bottling Company or All Away. After weeks of back and forth, giving them all the information they requested, the original invoice, descriptions of the problems, and pictures. They finally came back saying they will not cover wear and tear or manufacture issues, but only accidental damage with a date of the incident. So, I contacted Furniture Row back regarding it, and they said they would look into it. Upon getting back to me they said they no longer carry the table or parts needed to repair it. They won't be doing anything about it. So, I would caution shoppers to buy your furniture elsewhere. And if you're going to buy it there understand it is cheaply made, and you just need to understand it's going to fall apart and the insurance they will try to sell you will be pointless because it won't help you when you try to use it. They won't cover anything. And you might consider going to IKEA instead, or give your business to American Furniture or even Walmart. read more

The packaged was clearly opened and had been torn apart and retapped around the whole thing. I put the bed together and realized not only are he supports to short.. they are thing and there was not where to screw them in. I promptly called and talked with the manager who said they'd send out a repair person a few days later either Monday or Tuesday. No one showed up that week and I received no calls. We get setup to make the purchase for just the sectional b/c they don't cross-pollinate sales people across those different areas of the store. Ok... About to order, but it's back-ordered for 2 months. Ok fine... Walk away from this one and walk to the other side of the store. Head over to purchase the bed setup. Checks inventory; back-ordered for 2 months+. But wait... if you want to reserve this piece, you have to pay full price upfront. I'm already sketchy about this place and now they pull this crap. So I ask for free delivery. The salesperson gives me some BS, says no, and asks if we can take his card for later. No.... I don't think so. Red-flags firing all over the place for me at this point. Then I come home, and start reading all the other reviews having the same issues; and... in-store credit is only available upon return after the 3-day grace period. Right... My daughter and I went in to bedroom expressions after visiting five other stores looking for a bed. I had my heart set on one I saw on furniture rows website but wanted to look at it in person first. Not one salesperson asked us if we needed help or had questions. I told my 6 year old daughter let's walk through the whole store (mattress, dining and living) and see if we can find someone so we can purchase the bed..... well not one of the salespersons that was standing around chatting even bothered to ask if we needed help. Mattress situation corrected immediately thanks to Jack in Park Meadows. Salesperson Matthew blew me off twice by not returning my calls and set the delivery date for the nightstand out 2 weeks stating Colorado Springs store too busy to deliver in Fountain. Funny things is I was warned about this store and I did not listen. UPDATE-9/23-Still no nightstand. They finally made it to Fountain CO but brought another wrong nightstand. So I recently ordered furniture and I understand with COVID circumstances that a lot of items were backordered. I ordered furniture back in august. I was promised it would arrive by October 10th the latest. It did not arrive to the store until the 16th of October, not to mention NOT ONCE did they call or send any emails on updates of the furniture. I had to call 4 times asking for the status of my furniture, and when I called and it was finally there I scheduled it for Saturday. I never received any confirmation email or phone call. I called Saturday to see what time my furniture would be delivered to find out the employees never scheduled a drop off.
