Who would of ever thought that having 20 something needles inserted throughout various parts of your body would be painless. I've been in pain for 3 months with a pinched nerve, I've tried all types of therapies to little relief until I was recommended to Dr. Erin; This woman & her staff are absolutely amazing! They do a thorough assessment and periodically reevaluate. Within a short period of time I had relief from sever sciatica pain. The treatment rooms are spotlessly clean and relaxing. I hurt my back a couple of days ago and was in so much pain that I had a hard time even getting out of bed. My primary recommended advil and rest.. that didnt work so my boyfriend told me about this place and really recommended acupuncture. Making the appointment was really easy. I like that they're also opened on Saturday. This place does take health insurance but only some. Also the price was only $95 for about an hour. I am completely hooked. My back pain is gone and I was so comfortable. I will be back because it was great. Next session is $65 which isn't bad at all! read more

My sister had suggested acupuncture for a chronic glute issue I was experiencing as massage/stretching was not working. AAAW was one of the sponsors of a local 5K I was entered in and they were offering a free chair treatment at the race. It allowed me a chance to find out if they thought they could help me with my glute and indeed, they said they could. I went in for my appt with Erin, she reviewed my problem and said after a few sessions I should be good to go - and she was right! I now go in for "maintenance" for post soccer games/triathlon races to keep me upright and moving without pain. Erin and Paola are great and very flexible when I have a schedule change due to work travel. I highly recommend AAAW! read more

I am extremely disappointed by this place. They ripped me off. Billed me for an hour massage which I had to pre pay and the massage only lasted 45 minutes. I came here twice a week for acupuncture and a massage once a week. Paola tried to do the right thing by telling me the following week they would give me an hour massage and only charge me for a half hour. The owner Erin wouldn't have it. She called me up and said nobody has the authority to give a customer credit and basically told me I was lying that the massage was 55 minutes. Wonderful customer service. ( sarcastic tone ) Stay away from this place. They only care about taking your money not your health and well being. read more

Thank God for this little gem! I was severely run down and getting sick frequently. My hormones were also out of balance which was causing my period to be extremely irregular. The combination of the two left me exhausted, tense, and angry. When I went to Amityville acupuncture and wellness I was at my wits end. I was treated by Erin who listened to me intently and made me feel more relaxed immediately. She placed needles in me and left the room to allow me to relax and I instantly felt a release of emotion and pent up energy. After my treatment I felt better than I had in weeks and had the energy to get through my day with no coffee or nap breaks. I also am happy to report that my periods are regular again. I will def be making acupuncture part of a regular health routine. read more

Everyone here is amazing!! I was having congestion in my ears for 1 year and on and off antibiotics every other month. I tried everything and nothing helped until I found Amityville Wellness. I had 6 treatments and my ears were no longer clogged, my energy was up and I was no longer constipated (I didn't even know they could fix that!). I highly recommend this office. read more
