This place really stood out to us when we were first looking at apartments in Austin. The bf wanted to live near his workplace, and since I worked remote, we decided to live in the west oak hill area. Truthfully, we were hoping to snag one of the townhomes, but none of them were available during the time we were looking to move in. During the first tour, Bianca was really great - she answered all our questions and provided us with any information we could use to help us feel secure about the decisions we were making. I wish we were able to tour the unit before we decided on it because I was a little bit underwhelmed. It didn't have as much natural lighting as I was hoping for and the storage space were inadequate for me. Also the dining area is just a little nook in the corner. Overall, this is a nice community. I do like that they have two different pools and multiple dog parks. read more

When I lived here everyone that worked here was nice, never had any issues with my car being parked in the open. Not gated but felt so safe. Neighbors picked up after their dogs, it was always clean and they have events sometimes for residents. AMLI even had a little discount card when you eat or go to the places on the list they give you. The gym is tiny but nice and well maintained. There is someone always cleaning it but sometimes people will leave the equipment sweaty and gross because there isn't enough sanitizing wipes at times. But it's always cleaned up at some point of time. The luxer one package system could use some work because it can be unorganized at times but maybe residents or delivery people may shift things around. It's monitored so you never have to worry about your package being stolen. Bianca (not sure if she stil works here) helped us get our first apartment here in Austin at AMLI Covered Bridge. Unfortunately renewing became more expensive than our budget so we moved. Definitely recommend living here, if you can afford it. It's so nice and I definitely miss it compared to the place I live at now. read more

Hi, are you a parent? Do you have a child under the age of 10? Does your child sometimes make mistakes like putting too much laundry in the washer to try to be helpful? Maybe your child would use and put too much toilet paper in the toilet? You wake up to water in your bathroom and clean it all up yourself just to find the assistant manager knocking on your door to tell you they're cancelling your lease because you're not a good fit and it's too much of a liability to keep you and your daughter as residents? Then somehow you don't even receive paperwork regarding the incident and why your lease is being cancelled, just a "Oh, sorry you're not renewing your lease, but here's a move out form" email? I beg you and your family to not live here. This is a community of illegal substance smoking residents (the hallways always smell bad) ran by amateur management. I'm 33 years old and I've never been treated like this in my life, I'm a single father of a beautiful 7 year old daughter and they're giving me a 20 day notice to pack our bags and find somewhere else to live. I'm already seeking representation in the court of law and I will absolutely tell everyone I come across for the rest of my life that living in a corporate AMLI ran apartment is a mistake. read more

I wanted to let a year's stay past before I post a review and luckily this is by far the best apartment complex that I've ever lived at. I've been jumping around here and there for 10 years in Austin due to work or just not liking where I was at. Unlike other "luxury" apartments (somehow this word is just being plastered on any apartment signage these days), AMLI Coverbridge do have the best amenities, view of the hillside and professionally trained staff. The quality of the apartment itself is better than most. Small details that are noticeable to a mature eye like, wall to ceiling tiles in the tub, actual shelving in the pantry and closet (not wire shelving), doors, finishes and actual wood floor (not laminate). These are sound finishing touches that makes the place looks classier and overall worth the money. There's a trail, little cow goat farm (so cute!!!), and a stream just behind where you can hammock out. Amenities are always clean. I had an event at the back pool house and always felt safe and comfortable doing so. The only nuisance that I hated was the parking. Especially late at night, I may have to park at the entrance on Coverbridge Dr. and walk back to building 8. Although I always felt safe, it's just a bit tedious. In term so service, I had a good experience primarily working with Israel from beginning to end. He is quick to understand what your needs are and find what he thinks would meet your needs - and not in a pushy sales person way. Prior to move in, I had unpredictable circumstance come up that risked me pushing back my move in date but Israel helped with choosing the best scenario, which was what I had in the first place anyways. Even though I was all over the place, I never felt any pressure to just sign a lease. Move in - very quick breeze. Picking up keys took all but 5 minutes. They even do Courtesy Work Tickets to put up my curtains in my vaulted ceiling apartments. Now that is indeed, luxury concierge service! Club house, package closet and gym open 24 hours since they are able to close off the leasing area for the residents to use. I've told them time again as I was leaving since the complex is so beautiful and peaceful. I tried the hour commute to my new job for the remainder of the lease but if only I could work from home more... Now I'm in a not so great place :( read more

Luckily I moved to this community right before the covid shutdown, boy did it keep me sane! The outdoor space here is unlike other apts in Austin. There is a paved trail that runs through the complex and other trails in the neighboring community. Not to mention tons of trees and landscaping. The grounds are kept immaculate and the two pools are always clean and come with nice lounge chairs and umbrellas. An excellent place to call home! I thought I'd give this apartment a little time before writing a review. So now that a couple of months have gone by, here it is... I found the Amli Covered Bridge apartments with the help of Claire, an apartment locator with City Wide Realty. She had mapped out a few properties based on my criteria, and Covered Bridge stood soundly at the top. All of my requests were checked off like real hardwood floors (no fake vinyl here), tile floor in the bathroom, tons of closet space, top-end appliances, a pantry, energy-efficient structure, ceiling fans, plenty of lighting, quality blinds on windows, gym, pool, walking trails, and above all, a small yard for my dog. This place really has it all and more for that matter. I've hit up their free Starbucks Coffee machine multiple times that is available 24/7. I also love the fact that they have a secure package room and even a mailroom that smells like Starbursts candy. This is one of the first complexes I've lived that doesn't have a fence around it, much less a gated entry, but I haven't seen nor felt the need for one. In fact, they just added more lighting throughout the property, even strings around the trees, so walking about at night feels safe. The grounds are kept extremely clean, and the grass is trimmed weekly. And everyone here seems to be respectful of other residents, and due to the pet DNA poop identity program, there's never unsightly poo to avoid like other places. I've been pretty spoiled the past couple of apartments I've lived in with parking garages. Amli Covered Bridge has some carport style parking available and garages both for a little extra monthly, yet their open-air spaces are abundant. No matter my arrival time home, have I ever had a problem finding a parking space close to my place. The office staff and maintenance crew here are incredibly friendly and have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. Traits that are hardly ever observed these days, especially with many larger apartment complexes. And lastly, something I really loved, and that has helped my electric bills stay notably low, is the fact the Amli Covered Bridge apartments are certified at LEED Gold and are AEGB 2-Star rated. The community also features water sense fixtures, sustainable landscaping techniques, energy star appliances, healthy building materials, premium air filters, lower voltage lighting, and fresh air ventilation. I signed a 14-month lease and don't see any reason why I wouldn't resign when that period is up. read more

I love my community! We have been here 3 years and are waiting for them to offer us the option to buy. ;) Clean and neat grounds, WONDERFUL office staff, ALWAYS prompt and done right the 1st time maintenance. Garages available! Two phases (separated by a small bridge) gives a choice of community type, phase 1 is closer to the office and entrance but phase 2 is smaller and set back. Amli offers convenience of businesses along with high standard living. We have a great veterinarian (I use), a Dentist (I personally know for years), an amazing restaurant (always full & gr) and more on the way. The location, local amenities and convenience for my family is a bonus. Surrounded by safe walking communities for the runners and dog walkers too. I like to jet into the thick of downtown on the weekend, being at Covered Bridge is perfect!! Close to hill country hiking, camping, shopping and beauty. I've lived here for two months in the Phase II portion. The vibe feels much different than Phase I. It's mostly quiet, with the occasional dog barking. Walls are thick. Build quality is acceptable. Water pressure is low. It's a LEED-certified apartment. What are you going to do. The maintenance team is responsive. The front office is absolutely not. It's hard to contact anyone there. I'd recommend these apartments to anyone who doesn't work in downtown, because that commute is really hard. read more

I know it's ridiculous I am back on here for a third time, but I thought it was an important update. This should be my last! :) My experience with the staff continues to be stellar. Stephanie, the Community Manager, could not have been more professional, kind, understanding, inquisitive, polite, respectful, helpful -- couldn't have asked for a better manager here, wow! I'm kind of in shock, to tell you the truth. How can we keep her here forevaaaaah?! Jason continues to be awesome, of course, and has been extremely generous with his time, even though there are so many people here. Luis, also on the maintenance team, was also amazing and helped to unclog a drain. Israel always cheers me up with his attitude. Everybody has been a great listener; I've certainly had a ton of input recently, ha, but they've been all ears, which is so appreciated. Thank you! read more

I chose AMLI because I wanted to live somewhere away from the noise of downtown. Staff was very friendly when we visited. This was marketed as luxury apartments so it sounded like the perfect safe quiet place for me. Unfortunately my experience wasn't quite as I expected. I have been a resident for 1 1/2 years I hate moving but I am moving out at the end of this month due to the many issues I've faced here. As I reflect on the past year and a half here are a few issues that come to mind: 1. The facilities are poorly built. Don't let the brick exterior fool you. This was a low budget building. Cabinets are made of particle board, room is not insulated very well, you can feel a breeze in the winter time. They require residents to leave their faucets dripping all winter so that their pipes don't freeze up. 2. This is a noisy facility! Lots of dogs barking, you can hear the neighbors conversations through the wall(poorly insulated), if you live on a lower floor you will hear people walking above you. 3. The crime is actually really bad here. My vehicle was broken into twice and lots of tools and valuables were stolen. I took some measures to protect my stuff in the truck (hid items, and put locks on everything in back of truck) unfortunately my truck was stolen. AMLI refused to do anything to help. Wouldn't even provide footage from security cameras. I suggest doing the research on crime here before renting. I'm not the only person this happened to. 4. I started renting for $1249 per month, after my lease was up my rent was raised by $400 and I was told that I will also have to pay an additional $500 per month if I don't agree to sign a lease for another year at the raised rate. I ended up paying almost double per month because I did not renew 5. AMLI fines you for everything. AMLI has a valet trash service, you are supposed to leave trash bags outside your door. When I first moved in I was fined for leaving a cardboard box without bagging it. I was also recently given a hefty fine because some liquid was leaking from a trash bag. I had to pay extra for after hours maintenance to come and move the bag. You can't make this stuff up! On another occasion I switched renters insurance providers and had the new info faxed over. AMLI said that they never received the new Info so I was charged $35 for not notifying them even though there was no lapse in my insurance coverage 6. Staff is rude and not helpful at all. For just about any fine I've asked them to take off the answer is "sorry I wish we could help but it goes against Amli's policies, we don't make the rules". There are usually 5 or more people in the office at a given time but they don't answer the phone. The only way to communicate is by email. One time I walked in and 2 grown men were sitting on top of the desk while their phones were ringing. They don't care! Wow, didn't realize I had so many complaints until I started writing this, should have moved out earlier! I was going to finish this this review by saying something nice about AMLI but now I can't think of anything lol. The reality is that the housing market in Austin is so good that AMLI does not have to try very hard to rent out these units. Residents are not valued. They will make their money whether you rent from them or not. They are going to continue screwing people over but you don't have to be their next victim. My advice is to go one of the many other communities close by. read more

I lived at Covered Bridge for 18 months. From the first week I moved in, I complained about the upstairs neighbors & there 2 large Husky dogs. I had to live through my lease because Amli does not have any solution if you don't like your apartment. 18 months of torment. The walls and floors are so thin, I could hear my neighbor use the bathroom. If you live here, the top floor is the ONLY way to go. I felt the 2nd manager I dealt with, Stephanie, was unprofessional. Chris in the office was always rude. Israel was always nice & professional so if you lease there, ask for him because he truly cares about people. The pool is closed OFTEN for broken glass. I live at a property managed by Gables now & see what a property management company that cares about there residents is all about. I will never rent from Amli again. Beware of the beautiful amenities. Thin walls & floors are not worth it. read more

I want to mention that this review will cover all aspects of the community and on our experience. Please note that some features we did not appreciate may be what you are looking for. This is my honest review of AMLI Covered Bridge. Overall, AMLI is a nice clean community. I have rated each section with ' * ' Features: This complex is VERY nice. They really try and shove the LEED certified bit in your face. I get it, the complex is super nice, clean, and well built, but you don't need to remind me every time I speak with you. Pool areas are decent but could use more cleaning and more enforcement on the smoking in pool areas (it is a Breath Easy space with no smoking allowed). The gym is small but has some well used equipment but still a bit of everything (i.e. battle ropes, TRX, machines, free weights, benches) and may be cramped at peak hours. The dog park is small compared to the amount of big dogs that live here. They did build a second park in the back phase... it was also small. Hard to accommodate for the big dogs past 4-5 at a time. Mail is general and they use Luxor package room. A very nice touch around the holiday season. **** Unit living: Like I stated before the building is built very well. we usually never heard anyone except the guy that live above us played electric guitar with an amp. I brought it to the office's attention but I am not sure what happened past that since it was not followed up on. Inside features are top notch (i.e granite, stainless steel appliances, wood floors) with great finishes. My big con would be that not all units have a washer dryer and you may have to rent them. Which can be annoying considering how much they charge for rent. ***** Maintenance: The Maintenance team has always been super nice. We actually have never had to have them come in to fix anything. Nathaniel will see me outside with my dog or walking around and will greet me and sometimes talk a bit. I would assume they would get everything done in a timely manner. ***** Management: I mentioned everyone is super nice in the leasing office. Thankfully we have not had turnover since we started our lease. The big complaints I have are with how obsessed they are with having to enter your apartment. I feel like I am back in college dorm living with all of our checks/inspections whatever they feel like calling it. below is the list of inspections/checks that this property has done during our lease. They state it is quarterly... however every other month is not quarterly. Every time i bring it up to staff/manager they give me the same canned response," We are LEED certified and need to check the apartment quarterly." This may work for other people, but dog people with anxious dogs will understand this is extremely frustrating. ** Move in 11/14/17 Fire inspection 11/2817 (notified 11/16) Maintenance check 5/10/18 (notified 5/8/18) Maintenance check 7/18/18 (notified 7/17/18) Maintenance check 9/28/18 (notified via paper on door EOD 9/27/18) Community Events: We have lived in many communities. They would have cute events like "Saturday cartoons and cereal" and "pizza party'. AMLI Covered Bridge has had a few events but have mostly all been during the work day. Example is "sweet Treats!" at 3pm.... Where do you think we all are? The one event I really thought was cute, fun, and engaging was the Earth day event. They had a cute little table with succulents so you could arrange a succulent garden. It was perfect. ** Rent: If you have checked their website you can see super high prices. They are nice, but they are inflated rents. We will not be resigning due to the fact that we can get a larger first floor at similar quality for the same price or cheaper. * Over all if you want a nice, clean and quiet community, AMLI is it. We just could not get over the small annoyances that became larger ones. read more

As a new resident to Austin I knew I didn't want to live near a college campus, and didn't want the high priced lifestyle that is presented living downtown. This location was perfect for me. Tucked away in West Austin, there is still a great amount of food and activity around, and even if you don't want to travel the community itself is on a good delivery route. The location is countryside, and is fiber ready (huge determining factor for me as I work from home. At&t though, not Google :( but still having all units fiber ready is incredible!) There is WiFi throughout the complex, a private dog park best suited for small dogs, two pools, one in each phase so you're not hiking uphill just to go cool off! Multiple grill stations alongside the pool areas. Private clubhouse that is fully accessible to all residents! The staff has been very friendly, and always helpful anytime I've ever had a question or concern about any issues that arose. The walls are SOLID. There has been many days I never even knew it rained because of how thick the walls are! Another pretty nice benefit, being a resident at amli, you can park at the other amli locations for free. Very beneficial if you go downtown and can avoid paying for parking! read more

When I first moved in I clogged my garbage disposal and maintenance was there to fix it within a couple hours. The office is so kind and helpful. One of the best parts of living here is how quiet it is. The walls are thick and sounds of neighbors (even upstairs) are few and far between! My wife and I moved into AMLI Covered Bridge from out of state. Therefore we coordinated everything via phone and email. Once we arrived, it was more than expected and while the apartments are great the people that work here are even better! Chris is our go-to for any questions, concerns, or anything really. The entire staff is very responsive and always welcome you with a warm smile and conversation. Very personable and very professional. The grounds are well-kept and the amenities are the best around. The staff at AMLI was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I think I only went there one time where someone did not immediately know me by name and apartment # and that was because we had never met. It was especially pleasant to interact with Isreal. The location is GREAT! pretty much 20 mins from most everything. The apartment layout is functional and the materials used are modern, but understated so went with all my furniture. My only improvement suggestion would be the concierge package delivery. The text process is great, but your package is never in your apartment building's location and I have spent up to 15 mins looking for my delivery. Overall the staff is extremely cooperative and I enjoyed my time there. read more

So far this community has been simply amazing from the get go. Great atmosphere from the residents and their 4 legged companions. Awesome attitude from the front office and their staff members. They are super helpful, knowledgeable, and they have a great amenities offering here in the Hill Country area. I'm in the middle of my 3rd week living here at the time of this writing. Bonus: Only a 7-minute drive to work. I'm saving 13 hours on my commute a month. Super Bonus: I got in with a great deal (which is over now? but never hurts to ask what their current promotions are) 2 Months Rent + $1000 Look and Sign Deal. Super-Super Bonus: I got my placed loaded up with healthy food and drinks by the AMLI Staff before I moved in so I didn't have to worry about grabbing fast food or cooking with everything in boxes still. (Part of their promotion, can't guarantee you'll get the same treatment :P. Again never hurts to ask.) They really go out of their way to treat you like fAMLI here. Initial Meet & Greet: I worked directly with Amber and Jorge. Both are great people and friendly. They showed me my actual apartment not once, but twice, so I could get the feel of the layout and plan how I was going to organize my future home. I looked at several different 1 bedrooms, but decided I couldn't pass up the attached garage option. Follow Up: I got my initial paperwork out, pet deposits, and utility setups completed before move-in day. Again, had no troubles what so ever from the staff. Super helpful. Move-in Day: Came in the morning to get my keys and sign another document. Archer, my Siberian Husky, also got his cheek swabbed for their Poo Prints DNA system. (To make sure residents pick up their dog's poo or else they get fined due to the DNA matching) After getting settled: Notice the 3 outlets on the outside of the kitchen bar didn't work. Stopped by the office to turn in my move-in condition form and let them know. They had it fixed quick and right the 1st time around while Archer is out and about without any issues. They are still super friendly to me and other residents. So it wasn't just a front to get you to sign. The property is very well maintained and they just repainted the parking lot stripes and re-turfed the dog park area. That's right, they have a closed off private dog park for their residents. It could be a little bigger (hint hint :D ). But Archer can't complain as it is bigger than his old backyard, plus they have a nice half-mile hiking trail the goes from the front of the property to the back. Where their phase II buildings are. Some of their Amenities: They have 2 pools (front and back). Laundry mat facility (my place came with stacked washer & dryer, high-end models at that!) And a Paw's Wash Station! Yes, they actually have a dedicated room for washing and grooming your furry friend! Obviously, I moved here for Archer... A Starbucks machine is in the main office building back where residents have 24-hour access to (no cash or coin needed). Downstairs has a nice workout room that overlooks the pool (hello ladies!) They have a lot more that you can check out on their website. Needless to say, I'm one happy resident and looking forward to the next couple of years living here. read more

Worst move out process I've dealt with. My roommate and I have been moved out for 3 months and we still cant get them to figure out the fees. Israel, the assistant manager was not very helpful and he also confused our account with a different person, then sent ours to collections. Reached out to corporate to see if they could be any help and they also didn't response. It's a decent apartment but not worth the price. Living at the AMLI Covered Bridge feels a dream! The apartment is gorgeous and the office staff is very kind. Our dog loves walking around the complex and enjoys the nature trail on site. The neighbors are also very quiet so, the complex always feels peaceful. Israel was especially welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. Lived there for a year. Actual unit was nice, but the big problem in our building was roaches. Not small ones, I'm talking HUGE ones. Not sure if the problem started from neighbors or the trash valet, but it was disgusting. Especially since we live extremely clean - one would always pop up every week within the apartment. New manager that arrived in the summer of 2017 provided less than stellar customer service. Communication issues with staff were not thoroughly researched with us. The prior manager was fantastic - the new one came in and acted like the queen of the property. Big turn off considering customer service from AMLI is typically great. read more

Our toilet apparently had a hairline crack in the bowl and overtime after repeated use and sitting upon it, it split larger creating a faster leak without being able to turn off the tank from filling up. We immediately called the service line and despite this coronavirus pandemic AMLI covered bridge was able to get our tank replaced without much damage or mess to our apartment. I'd like to commend our service for this and reach out and say thank you from us in 9101! We appreciate the prompt service and love the area we live in. Y'all are amazing and for not ever living in an apartment community before, I must say AMLI covered bridge is definitely top notch in a great area. read more

This place has one big problem. The plank floor is so thin that you can hear every single piece of noise from your upstairs neighbour. If you are unlucky like me you will hear your neighbors' and their pets' pounding footsteps non stops for hours a day in addition to them pulling chairs and moving stuff. Don't pick 1st or 2nd floor if you don't want the miserable experience. Also don't wish for the staff to do something for u because the noise is not considered egregious disturbances(ie not from loud speakers etc). Good things: Place is good with nice looking plank flooring throughout the whole apt especially for the phase 2 units on this facility because all units are brand new including all appliances. Staff is great. Common area are well maintained. Update a month later...Thanks AMLI for taking the time to response but I much rather see actions. If you are looking at living here, do not even consider picking anything other than 3rd floor. Doesn't worth taking the chance as it is extremely miserable. I made a terrible mistake to rent 2nd floor. Hearing pounding noise for hours a day will cause you headache. Now I just want my lease to end soon. And it sucks knowing the staff cannot help. read more

My first week in my gorgeous apartment couldn't have gone better. Office staff particularly Miriam have been very helpful with showing me the amenities. Service techs came to door looking to change air filter. They realized I was new tenant and none was needed. They asked if there was anything I needed. I told them that a drawer in my fridge wouldn't close properly. They said they would report it. I couldn't believe the service level when I discovered the next day that the drawer had been fixed! This apartment used to be nice, but the area has gotten worse and people are getting their cars robbed and stolen from the parking here. One of my families cars got stolen over night and this apartment did not even email all the residents about it. And this apartment is no longer so quiet. People come blasting their car music at 3am, and you can hear people fighting down stairs. The office only hire non-straight people. I'm not discriminating but they only literally hire gay people. And I know that Austin is dog friendly but people's dogs here are not so trained, they start barking at 4am to 9am. If you go in to the office, they don't even greet you, they just stair at you like you're a stranger. There are other nicer apartment around oak hill, and I'd never come back here. read more

We loved living at the Amli Covered Bridge! We had a balcony view overlooking a ranch with cows! The apartment was great and more importantly the staff was incredible (thanks Marissa!!) My wife and I ended up choosing a different apartment community, but we're still taking the time to write a 5 star review for AMLI Covered Bridge because we were SO impressed by Amber, the woman that showed us the apartments. The team clearly loves their work, and are authentically interested in helping. We would've easily been happy to call this place home based on the service alone. read more

Love living at AMLI Covered Bridge!!! Moved to Austin in May from San Diego. Beautiful complex and the most friendly & helpful staff. The complex is super dog friendly for all of us who own furry pups too. It's been a pleasant transition process. read more
