I would have cancelled the visit if I knew I was now out of network because there are plenty who are covered by the insurance that I pay for. 0 stars, the experience for the kids is crap and then you pay $$$ for that.

They were only able to get the front x-rays. Dr. Lindquist performed the examination. She said he had 6 cavities and suggested a rather aggressive treatment of 6 crowns + root removal and sealants on the back teeth...I felt rather steamrolled after the appointment. I scheduled his procedure but took him for a second opinion elsewhere where they were able to do a full set of x-rays and after the exam they said my son had 4 cavities and would need one crown and 3 fillings. I will not go back to Children's Dentistry of Central Texas in San Marcos. I just wanted to share my experience in case it helps any other parents.

Our kiddo has had horrible experiences elsewhere, which also resulted in poorly done procedures. Dr. Brandon put our son at ease and has made him more comfortable with coming to the dentist! In fact he now ASKS to come to the dentist. These people made it easy and comfortable for my kiddos. They are very attentive and sensitive to the fears and trepidation that comes with little ones going to the dentist. They quickly develop a plan and help you and your kids see it through. Dr. Saucier is knowledgeable, quick, and compassionate. Her attention and ability to adjust on the fly is impressive. The people at the front desk, from reception to appointments and payments are professional, friendly and courteous. Bar none. Every one of them has a great personality and are ready to help you with anything. This is difficult to find at a dentist office. At least the hygienist would be a grump, right? Wrong. They have multiple hygienists and all are delicate and very helpful with your children. If you care about your kids' dental health, and want a guilt-free place to bring them for their oral care, where they will care for your kids as much as you do, bring them to LSPD.
