This place is amazing. Super super super patient with the kids. My son has autism and they are understanding and for a kid who doesn't like being laid down they were able to ensure his comfort above all. The dentist and the dental assistants knew what to do to help him with sensory needs. Dentist even knew sign language were it made my son even more comfortable. I would 1000% recommend this office to who ever needs a dentist for their little ones specially with special needs like my son. read more

This is the best hands down kids dentist I have ever been in. My daughter literally couldn't believe it was a dentist office and was ecstatic to be there. Everything was easy since the beginning. They started my 3 kids as new patients and got us in quick. Everything is super efficient and convenient. No wait time and handled all 3 quickly plus they are super friendly. We got a whole tour of everything. The best part is they work with people who don't do fluoride and dont even try to convince you. Loved it here.​ read more

Best kids dental experience by far! The office is super cute, and the staff was very friendly + no wait time! I loved the multiple waiting areas- plenty of room for everyone! Love, love, love this place! They were able to take my daughter in as a new patient at short notice and at my convenience. I needed a clearance form signed for orthodontist to do braces but found out from her old dentist that she needed a filling, our old dentist was pushing the filling out two weeks. Kids dental Smiles was able to do it right away and got us the clearance form signed with the proper procedures done all in the same day. Everyone was so nice and the place is so colorful, it's a perfect place for kids with iPads placed in each room and TVs above the dental chairs. I will be returning here for all my child's dental needs! read more

One hour before my husband and I walked in the door from our amazingly romantic honeymoon, our son (6) face planted off the Ottoman onto tile floor and knocked out one tooth on contact and left the other dangling and another turning grey at the root with a fat bloody lip and bruised gums. Welcome home!!! We haven't dealt with many bloody or scary medical emergencies with either of our kids. Knock on wood. After googling (as you do) we felt assured he'd make it til Monday when dentists offices were open again. I started leaving messages on Sunday evening to see if we could get an appointment for Monday. Monday morning 8 am rolls around and I called kids dental smiles, I had not called them on Sunday. I immediately got an answer and the lovely woman booked us an appointment for just an hour later! I greatly appreciated her helpful and kind reassurance over the phone. No other offices in the area called me back all day. We head over, I'm clearly more anxious than our son but he's a little nervous. It was easy to find, easy to park, and we were in. The office excited my inner child a bit and Ro loved the tablets available in the waiting room to play with. I filled out papers and he played. I was impressed with the cleanliness and pleasant (very kid friendly appearance) and the chairs were unusually comfortable. Again the office staff was more than helpful and very sweet. When it was our turn we had an xray done, the tech was super gentle and careful when examining and completing the image. We then saw the Doctor who was sweet and funny and assured me everything was going to be just fine and we didn't have any permanent damage. He too was very gentle and did what my husband and I dreaded and pulled out that dangler. He told me what to expect and how the lip and grey tooth will heal. He told our son how proud he was and what an amazing job he did. He got a token for the toy machine as I was checking out and making our next appointments for he and our daughter. It was extremely fast, we didn't wait at all (30 min total). I can't recommend this office enough! We were thoroughly impressed and all of their staff exceeded my expectations. My two sons and I raced today from school in Wimberley to Kids Dental Smiles in Kyle. We were determined to be on time to our 4:00 pm appointment (which we were!). This was to be the third visit for my one son and the second visit for my other son. My first clue that things were not well was when we checked in for our appointments and the receptionist handed me new patient paperwork. I told her we had been there before, but she had no record. I completed the paperwork and then began to wait patiently. After 20 minutes, I asked how backed up the appointments were. I asked again after waiting 30 minutes. There were no other patients in the waiting room when we arrived and there still were not. 35 minutes after our appointment time, the assistant came out to get my sons. She asked when the last time was that they had xrays taken. I told her I did not know and she should check their charts. She said she was new and did not know where the charts were. The boys disappeared for the checkups. Then she came back out to say that they would only work on them until 5:00 and they would both have to come back. I told her to bring the boys back to me, that I did not want them to be worked on without any records, that I did not understand why we had been kept waiting 35 minutes. The dentist came out and said he agreed with me but that the assistant was new and she could not find the records for my sons. I said that was not my problem and we left. We will not return. I found the whole experience very unsettling and extremely unprofessional. read more

I took my toddler here because of the good reviews. He was born missing some enamel on his front teeth- and when they grew out around a year, it was definitely a concern. We watched for a while and it was getting worse, so I took him to one dentist by us who recommended a different pediatric dentist, and then here. Both places said he would need anesthesia and to have crowns placed on those teeth. I wasn't comfortable with that and his young age. So I called again to see if there was another option. Nope the dentist in Pflugarville also said the same thing- anesthesia and crowns. I did some research and thanks to another moms review- I found a pediatric dentist that doesn't use anesthesia. She recommended pulling the teeth because so much enamel was gone. I felt so much better about not using anesthesia and her reviews are amazing. She used a calming wrap and a local - it took about 20 minutes. He is fine now and it healed so quick. Her dentistry is far but worth it- message me if you would like to know more. I highly recommend more pediatric dentists to use different means besides anesthesia. read more
