Okay, if you've read my reviews you know that I don't throw out 5stars very easily. These guys are the greatest. I have 5 children 4 under the age of 14. These people made it easy and comfortable for my kiddos. They are very attentive and sensitive to the fears and trepidation that comes with little ones going to the dentist. They quickly develop a plan and help you and your kids see it through. Dr. Saucier is knowledgeable, quick, and compassionate. Her attention and ability to adjust on the fly is impressive. The people at the front desk, from reception to appointments and payments are professional, friendly and courteous. Bar none. Every one of them has a great personality and are ready to help you with anything. This is difficult to find at a dentist office. At least the hygienist would be a grump, right? Wrong. They have multiple hygienists and all are delicate and very helpful with your children. If you care about your kids' dental health, and want a guilt-free place to bring them for their oral care, where they will care for your kids as much as you do, bring them to LSPD. The staff are friendly and competent, but the paperwork is a *nightmare*. Literally, every time we visit, I have to fill out every single page all over again, and I cannot understand why. I know it must be a logistical nightmare for the office. It is incredibly frustrating to just continue to repeat myself for pages and pages (many of which ask for duplicate information), particularly considering that it's info I just shared six months ago. I really hope someone in charge can figure out a solution to streamline this process. read more

This is a great place to go if you have multiple kids and have to take them by yourself. They are a well-oiled machine and usually split duties to get both of my kids done around the same time! They both get x-rays, cleanings and exams and are done in about 30 minutes and out the door. read more

Loved this place until our last visit, where they physically held my son down while he was gagging and crying to finish their procedure. I'm still confused and angry because they could have easily given him laughing gas to make the process smooth. If they would have done that he wouldn't have an issue with the gag reflux, and it wouldn't have turned into such an ordeal. To top it off, the tech who worked on him was trying to rush us out while I had a sobbing child in my arms trying to calm him down. I understand they have other appointments, but a bit of empathy would have gone a long way. They chose to be rude and to rush us out. I'm not confrontational and I wish I could have spoken up to them at the time, but I am livid and beyond upset how they treated my 7 year old during his last visit. My son has so much anxiety going to the dentist now that it's an issue to get even X-rays done. read more

My kids love this dentist and they have been very good in terms of actual dentistry. However, their check-in process is terrible. Why does a regular customer need to cdill our insurance forms every time they come in? 1. If I've been there before, you should have the information, especially if we are regular customers. 2. I understand asking if there are any changes to insurance, medications, allergies, etc., but those are things that should be asked by staff and inputted into the digital medical records system. OR Just have us fill out that particular portion and not multiple pages of garbage. Bottom line: better processes = happier customers and make you look less incompetent. read more

Very disappointed today due to them making a mistake on one of my daughters appointment and since they scheduled her for cleaning in error they were not able to do the dental work she needed. I even offered to wait for them to get it done but they would not accommodate even though it was their error. For this reason and a few more I will be looking for a new dental office pre my girls. I feel they could have done something to correct the error and they didn't. read more

Great dentist and staff. My 2 yr old had a fun experience. Only complaint I have is that there are no toys for the kids to play with in the waiting room. Only 1 tablet on the wall that kids will have to fight for it. Other than that, I will be taking my other 2 kids there next week. We enjoyed our experience. read more

Dr. Dana Saucier was very attentive, her team was truly welcoming and the dental hygienist were very attentive. The ladies at the front desk are just as awesome as the rest of the team. We have four young ones that we took in at the same time, and we truly felt like we taken care of, best of all, by a team of caring individuals. If you could rate the doctors separately, I would easily give the doctors a higher review, however; the billing and front office staff have definitely earned the negative review and the one star rating. I'm sure after this is posted I'll get the generic response from them. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.... I'll outline the bad experience so future customers and patients can see what we've dealt with twice already. One, overcharged services that were more than the contracted rate with our insurance company. According to our insurance company, they should not be charging more than the contract rate for services. Second, trying to get a hold of somebody to get an adjustment done and a credit reversed so we can get a refund. The first time we were told that the biller does not like talking to people, imagine how well that went after several phone calls and emails with the front office staff. This latest instance I requested that I was Cc'd on an email to the biller and I never was. This was after two follow-up emails. A phone call with a message and a second phone call were actually talked to the office manager. The office manager said that they were going to use this as an opportunity to coach the front office staff. I guess that coaching moment never happened because I sent another email. I requested another follow-up and I called and left another message after being transferred to an extension that had no voicemail setup and rang for 4 minutes. We went through hell last time to get a refund issued, and I guess it's just company policy to put us through hell again to get another refund issued. I would definitely love an explanation on what "fee schedule attached wrong" is and why that is showing up several times on my billing history. I would love to get an explanation on why we are being charged more than the contracted rate for services. And I would love to get an explanation on why no one seems to care to return a phone call or an email to simply acknowledge that this is being worked on. read more

I'm going to preface this review with a full disclosure that I'm rather particular about my doctors and dentists, especially when it involves my kids. We went twice to Lone Star Pediatric Dental in Kyle. The first time was great! They got us in quickly, everyone was friendly, the dentist was great. The second visit was ok. It took forever for the visit to be completed, but I totally understand that. The hygienist was nice but she asked my child a ridiculously inappropriate question, which I addressed immediately. But, my issue is that they are recommending some serious dental work for my small child. Obviously this is concerning for any parent. The dentist (who was a different dentist than the first visit) answered my questions but very briefly and seemed to brush off my concerns. I was supposed to receive a call back but nothing. Called to follow up, nothing. Still waiting on a call back weeks later. We are obviously moving to a different dentist. Which, I should mention I have to go in person to request the records. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place! They don't schedule till 2 months after their visit. Then with all this shut down they called me to schedule 1 month in a half later. So in total 3 months in a half wait time. But yet they are to quick to charge your bank card! read more

I needed to take my son in for his first dental appointment. I read the reviews for this office and it seemed like a good place to take him. When I first walked in I was impressed and comfortable. I wasn't until after his visit that I noticed the whole atmosphere changed. My son needed treatment, there was quite a bit wrong with his teeth. Treatment totaling an estimated $4,634. (Note, the estimate changed about 4 times in 3 days) Ok, bit of a shell shock but my son was in pain, bad pain and I figured they would work with me. No, they needed the full amount before they could treat him. It took me begging and begging to go on a payment plan so I could get my son treatment and have him not be in pain, still they needed $2,500 upfront and could only offer me a short payment plan. Low and behold after treatment and I had given my agreed upon payment for the following 3 weeks, they realized I had over paid (by about $500) and their estimate was wrong. She said they would just refund it all to my credit card (I had paid multiple ways). Few days later I notice I'm was not refunded the whole amount, I called asking for a call back, nothing. This has happened multiple times since his surgery. They got their money and the refuse to call me back or even speak to me, they are always "busy at the moment". Finally speak to someone, and the refund method has changed. Why did no one tell me? Why did no one call me back after my request? They just want your money. And don't want to give back what they owe you. The 2 stars is for the doctors, Dr. Debbie and Dr. Marty are amazing with the kids. Although the front office staffs inability for patient empathy/understanding and lack of professionalism/respect left me with enough reason to never take my children there again. I was surprised by the friendliness and professionalism when we had my daughters appointment. Everyone was so nice and informative. They told me everything they were doing as they cleaned her teeth and was patient the entire time. I like that the clinic is small. It makes it more intimate for a doctor / patient relationship. This place is amazing! My son started going here when he was 3. Just recently was his second cleaning appointment and he did not wanna get on the chair! Marisela was so awesome with him. She let him see what tools she was using for his cleaning, demonstrated them and eventually got him to open wide! Her patience made me feel comforted that my son is in good hands. Such a wonderful practice! My 9 year old has visited several dentists, none were as kind and understanding to his anxiety than the people here. My daughters first visit to the dentist was today and it went so well. I was impressed that the initial paperwork included a section on her favorite preferences like color and characters as well as any issues she might experience such as anxiety. The nurse Melinda treated my child as an individual and worked well with her unique personality and was able to calm her at her most anxious. Dr. Mary was knowledgeable, patient, and professional, she answered all my questions.The entire front desk staff was very professional and pleasant as well! I have 4 kids between the ages of 8 months and 17 years. Making appointments for them is pretty hectic and I was nervous about taking them all on the same day. But when we were in, they were awesome! They were handling each kid at the same time but doing different things with each of them since we were new patients. I was very nervous about the baby since she hates for people to mess with her. But she did great and didn't have any problems! They're all looking forward to their next visit. The ladies here were all so friendly and made our visit very smooth! read more

This is by far the best denitist office I've ever been to. Friendly / hilarious staff at the front desk and back. I love this place. I'm 18 and 6 months pregnant and I walked out with a balloon around my wrist, friendship bracelet, and a fake mustache. My son when he is old enough will be getting his dental work here. I love Lone Star Pediatric! From the front desk to the dentist, they are all so kind and professional. I have 8 kids (ages 2-18). Yes eight. And the staff make it a wonderful experience. We have had many different procedures done in the office and they are very accommodating to all types of situations. Some of my children require braces and they have an orthodontist that comes to their office so I don't have to drag, me and my kids, all over creation. It's all in one office. We had been going to another dentist closer to where we live and it was not a good fit, they would not allow me to go in the room when my kids were having dental work done (I totally disagree with that.) and they just were not friendly. So, when we were referred to Lone Star Pediatric Dental for the orthodontist, we had such a wonderful experience, we switch to have them take over ALL our dental needs. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist now! What a change! I can not say enough good things about this office!! read more

I am not one to write reviews but in this case it was major to my sons Dental needs. First off everything up to the diagnosis and plan for him was great. They staff is super friendly and did great with the cleaning. The X-rays were not the best and at the end the Dr. wanted to do about $1000 worth of dental work which included 3 Silver crowns and 3 more fillings along with sealant. I thought this was a bit absurd since i take him in for cleanings. I got a second opinion and all he needed was a few fillings and NO crowns. On one tooth that they said needed a crown didnt even need any work. Prior to taking him to a second opinion i has asked the Dr a few questions and opinions i had regarding the teeth such as doing some of the work differently and in a nice way they basically told me if i don't like what they want to do i can take him somewhere else and that they would not do what i was recommending and i am SO glad i did cause i avoided my 6 yr old son needing way more intense dental work then what he actually needed. read more

We absolutely love Lone Star Pediatric Dental! I have been bringing my sons here for a few years now and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. The front desk girls are amazing! We are always greeted with a smile when we walk through the door and they do a wonderful job interacting with my kiddos while we wait. The assistants, hygienists, and dentists are all very friendly and patient with my boys and do a fantastic job of making them feel comfortable. This place is top notch!
