My daughter has been coming to this dentist office since she was 6 months old! Everyone is so friendly. They have lots of things for kids of all ages to do while waiting to see the dentist. They take a picture every time you go in and put it on a little card. They give us a tooth brush and tooth paste every visit. Dr Ana's is a very nice and friendly dentist! Everyone who works here has never been rude and are always smiles ! The communication is also very good! Kiddos also always get a little prize after every visit ! Highly recommend!! You will not be seen until 30-45 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. It is also very rushed so, even though my son has gone here since he was old enough, he's terrified of the dentist and he's never seen the provider twice. They also failed to tell me that my insurance was not in network, which previously it was, and my bill was over $200 more to which the manager was apathetic and tried to explain it. You can't explain away the lack of training and due diligence of front office staff. I would have cancelled the visit if I knew I was now out of network because there are plenty who are covered by the insurance that I pay for. 0 stars, the experience for the kids is crap and then you pay $$$ for that. read more

If you call with an emergency theybwill tell you yes your insurance is good to go theybwill do the service and 2 months later you will get slammed with a bill much higher than expected when you call theybwill explain they are out of network and you are screwed. read more

They canceled my appointment for my 2 kids. They said I didn't confirm. I had text messages showing my confirmation AND their response to my confirmation. They then had to pull it up on the computer then scoffed and huffed. We might be able to squeeze you in but you'll have to wait. GREAT. I had this appointment for MONTHS. Proof of confirmation and now I get to rearrange my -also busy- schedule? You clearly don't want or need my business. There are other Dentists. Great atmosphere for kids! Dentistry staff are great! However, I'm always pressured into making an appt for my children for their next follow up. Even when I tell them I have life changing events the staff is always adamant to make the appt. At first I thought it was because it was our first visit there, we've been patients here for about 5 years and we still experience the same. Billing/billing manager is also super pushy! As soon as a statement is created, you will get a text as a reminder to check for the email that was just sent regarding balance, as well as a phone call to remind you of the balance. The bill had just been processed by insurance and my patient balance had just came about. It's not as if my balance had been lingering for sometime. Not sure if I will continue taking my children here due to these continued issues. I had an issue last year with my daughters fluoride treatment that wasn't covered, I received a call from Alligator Dental informing me that a statement had been mailed and they hadn't received payment. I hadn't even received a statement yet and was being called and reminded to pay the bill on a statement I didn't even have. I've never left a bill unpaid or kept a balance on my account for a long period of time, I don't understand the reason to be so pushy in texts, emails, voicemails, and mailed statements. read more

I am already in love with this office! Today my kids had their first appointment at alligator dental. From the second we arrived we were treated so well. The entire place, from the staff down to the office itself is geared towards the kids and so interactive for them! I absolutely dreaded making my kids dentist appointments in the past because the dentist they went to had a way of making you feel like a horrible parent when your kid has a cavity. Whether intentional or not, that is how I felt every time I took them. They were also not as friendly for being a pediatric dentist. Alligator dental was so welcoming and fun the entire visit, and my kids were not worried or scared about what they were going to do. I would give them more stars if I could! read more

I took all four of my grandchildren in today for the appointments of the youngest two. We came late from a pediatrician appointment. No problem. The three waiting were entertained while the one seen was calmed expertly by the dentist and his assistant. They explained step by step what was going to happen in child friendly terms. I can not say enough good things about this place! Before we found alligator dental we tired 3 or 4 different places and nothing could compare. The dentists and staff here are amazing just for starters but the entire facility itself is an interactive adventure. We always go an hour early just to get the full experience. My kids beg to go and can't wait until their next appt. The staff is never pushy trying to schedule unnecessary procedures and are up beat and really motivating. When procedures are necessary they are reasonable and accommodating...usually offering a couple of different options. I could go on and on but my number one most favorite part is how they work with my kids. We haven't had a bad experience there yet and have seen 2 of their dentists and a few different assistants. Until finding them we didn't even keep a good dental check up routine :( it was terrifying for the kids everywhere else. I'm so very happy for alligator dental San Marcos! My son loves coming here. The staff is always friendly and the environment is so kid friendly. They have a "theater " room where kids can watch a movie while they wait and a tooth brushing station in the back. The dentist Dr.Burns is nice and doesn't rush you at all.He is also patient with the kids. I would recommend this place to any parent. read more

Writing this because there are no reviews, and I want all the parents out there to know how great this pediatric dentistry practice is! I had previously taken my daughter to another dentist and was very dissatisfied - but Alligator Dental was excellent. The first thing you notice is how friendly and helpful the staff that answers the phone and makes appointments is. When you come for the appointment, there is a beautiful and large waiting room with a whole room full of toys - but we didn't have to wait long at all. The facilities are clean, beautiful, and clearly set up with state of the art equipment. My 3 year old had a wonderful experience that she can remember - and not be afraid when she returns. Every step of the way, the great new patient hygienist (Valerie) made sure that my daughter knew what to expect and what would happen next. Dr Khan was very professional, knowledgable, and clearly enjoys working with children. I seriously have nothing bad to say - I will recommend this to all of my friends! read more
