An hour later around 10am was when it started to get busy. It's a smaller patch so a couple hours is doable if you have small kiddos. There's a barn to buy your pumpkins, a corn maze ($5pp), corn blaster ($1 per shot), petting zoo (free), and some small booths of food and small trinkets. Our group had a lot of fun for the 2 hours we were there. There is a huge rock display where the kids climb and great photo ops. This patch was quite a distance from Mira Mesa (40-45 mins) but since we left early in the morning, there was no traffic and ample parking. Parking is free and lots available.

Overall I will be looking for a closer person with eggs without corn because after several visits 1/ever 2-3 months I'm over being treated the way the girls treat me.

Each party is given a complimentary bucket of lettuce to feed the animals, with more available for purchase. We got to pet and feed not only mini pigs, but also goats, ducks, chickens, and even a large, handsome turkey. And because it was Valentine's Day, the staff passed around glasses of sparkling wine for guests, which was an extra special touch. The setting is tucked away in a mountainous area, making it feel like a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was the perfect stop on our way to San Diego. There are also many educational opportunities on the farm. Camps for kids, after school programs and other events are available throughout the year. The farm recently opened a coffee cart as well. Swing by and get fresh coffee along with your fruits and vegetables. There are also chickens on the farm and fresh eggs are sold every Sunday. If you like to eat the rainbow, or try new vegetables, this might be the spot for you as well, depending on when you arrive at the farm, you can see the vegetables coming in just after they have been picked to be sold.

It's a really fun place to look around if you are into plants. The prices are a little higher than the other stores, but the quality of plants I get are worth it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They also have a loyalty program, the Hedge fund, that you can earn points and turn them into in-store credit. They also offer free gardening classes on saturdays Some of their other gardening things (soil, fertilizer, pots etc) are quite expensive, so I do price-check with other places first.
