Surprisingly nice Italian restaurant for Kennett. Food was very good, as was the service. With reasonable prices. A pleasant surprise indeed

The Italian bread with herbs was delicious, and every appetizer we tried -- from the cheese fritters to the calamari -- was excellent. I chose the smoked chicken ravioli for my entrée, and it was truly delectable. We finished dinner with key lime pie for dessert, and it was mmm good. Overall, the meal was fabulous. My only complaint was the air-conditioning, which felt brutally cold at times. Thankfully it wasn't on continuously, but I couldn't help wondering -- why is the AC blasting on a cold January night? Our server was excellent as well. A+!

Fried artichokes lacked flavor with the breading or artichoke themselves. Blackened chicken tortellini was pretty good, just a little too salty. My husband's "tomato sauce" for his veal parmigiana had such a strange flavor, like an entire bottle of worcestershire sauce was dumped into it. Veal was either really tough or the silverware was too dull, because he really had to hack it to cut it. I really hope they make their focaccia in house, because that was the best bite of the meal.

Portions were excellent for the price. My biggest issue with this place was the club-like atmosphere at 8pm on a Thursday night. It's a small space. The lights were dimmed so low. The DJ was playing music loud enough for a 5,000 sqft space. This place is not the vibe for a meal if you want to talk to your friends, but definitely the place for good food at a great price.

Seemed to be more to-go orders than anything. We came and were seated. The server told us it was her first day so she didn't have answers to any of the questions that were asked. I ordered the blackened catfish pasta and my friend ordered the blackened catfish meal. After waiting for quite some time, the server comes over and tells us that it takes about 45 minute to cook our food since everything is made to order. So if we were on lunch break, it would be better to call in the order. 1- it doesn't take 45 mins to scoop pre-made pasta or grill catfish. 2- You probably should have told us that information when we arrived, not an hour after we been sitting. Yes it took a full hour to get our food. With no one else in the restaurant. Should have been a clue. My food wasn't even piping hot when we got it. It was lukewarm as best. So the taste was just ok. Fish very salty. Pasta flavor was ok. My friend enjoyed her meal but was also disappointed in the wait and the warmness of the food. Presentation was good however. I asked for a to-go container and the check. The server said ok and then went to talk to another employee for an additional 20 min as we were waiting to finish up and leave. I had to go ask her again. And she said it's on the way. So in all, we spent about an hour and 40 minutes in this establishment during our lunch time. Not sure I have any interest to return.

It, the red onions, and the variety of greens made for a delicious starter. The restaurant must have run out of black olives, because overly salty Kalamata olives were instead placed on my salad. My friend and I settled on sharing the LaBocca's Favorite Pizza, which was topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, Italian sausage, pepperoni, bacon, green bell peppers, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, red onions, and Roma tomatoes. The pizza's crust tasted homemade, and was delicious. The toppings were really fresh, but I found the olives far too salty for my palate. Our waitress provided efficient and friendly service, refilling our drinks periodically. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated, with murals on the walls; and there was a baby grand piano topped with flowers. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I would like to return again in order to try more of the menu options! 3.75 stars rounded up to 4 stars.

The salads come out swimming in dressing, so order light no matter what. Our entrées were a mixed bag: the cheese pizza was rubbery, the lobster and shrimp gnocchi was oddly tomato-heavy and fell flat, and the chicken piccata -- while decent -- was watery and served over a thicker noodle than you'd expect. If you're in Jonesboro and craving Italian, this is your only sit-down option, so sometimes you don't have a choice. Just load up on appetizers and temper your expectations for the main course.
