I reached out to them for pricing and quickly received a response from Raul. It was a little challenging to confirm the pricing for lighting at first since I'm a visual person and I wasn't 100% sure what we were getting. They had a few different options, and I requested to see some photos of their work at the venue. Once I had a better idea I went with the cascading lights that hung behind our sweetheart table. I can with 100% certainty say the lights were beautiful and absolutely elevated the room. Aside from the initial back and forth email communication, I had no interaction with them on the wedding day since my coordinator handled most of it. We first talked to Hannah who was very kind and patient in answering our questions as we better understood expectations of wedding planning and the packages Joyfully Co had to offer. We never felt pressure from Hannah to hire them as our planner and she made us feel heard and seen. We ended up working with them and booked the 'Love' package which focused on designing our wedding with month & day of coordinating with their founder, Blaire! We booked them pretty early on and once things picked up they were great to work with. We worked a lot with Blaire (our main planner), Hannah and Sharon! All 3 ladies were so helpful and great in communication - which was what I really valued and appreciated a lot. The whole planning process for the design was so smooth. They asked us for a pinterest board of our inspo, then created a proposal slide deck on designs - and that's when I realized their attention to detail was crazy. I had an image that I liked and they thought I wanted it down to the tee, like wanting a chest for the card box, which they even FOUND a site of where I could buy one! Because we went with the Love package - we were responsibly to book our vendors, but they went above and beyond & recommended us vendors we had a hard time finding (like photography, cake, HMUA). We ended up going with a lot of their recommendations and LOVED them all! Months leading up to the wedding, the meetings picked up and check-ins came more. They guided us well and really wrote down every detail we (mainly me lol) wanted. They were sooo patient and offered so many different designs for signage! They made sure everything was something we're happy with, and if we wanted any changes - they'd make them asap. The day of was so smooth - I found myself hardly seeing them except a few times or when Blaire would give us the cue or ask us if we needed anything. I feel planners & coordinators don't get enough recognition as they work behind the scenes but they were fantastic. I don't even know if there were any problems that happened day of - which was great! We were pretty stress free and any last minute changes they'd ask us to make sure it's okay or not. I truly don't know how they can be under all that stress and still smile and make things look so easy. They placed all our DIY stuff beautifully and helped package everything back into our boxes by the end of the night - AND even into our cars! I legit have nothing missing!! We were so happy to see everything come together - literally my pinterest board come to life! The entire team always made us feel seen and heard - and would give us their advice if we were stuck on whether something worked or not. They worked well giving cues to our other vendors (like DJ for announcements) the day of and I do think because of their help - the day was perfect. Highly recommend them for your wedding planning needs! I'm sure no matter what package you end up, whether its full planning to even just month-of, you'll be very happy with the results. We had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Araj from Bombay rental…read morecompany during a recent wedding I planned. Despite confirming all rental details months in advance, even the week prior and days leading up to the event to make sure everything was correct, the vendor failed to deliver on multiple fronts--and when confronted, took zero accountability. The most alarming issue was the dance floor, which was not secured properly. The outer framing was also left short, leaving sharp edges and was two different colors. We later found out that guests actually fell during the event because of the dance floor. Not only was it unsafe, but the white vinyl wrap as ordered, was also not done and never corrected, even though the vendor claimed to be "on-site the entire time." If that were true, why wasn't any of the issues corrected before guests entered the reception? Yes, claim was at his warehouse was over an hour away, and he couldn't access the items, although his team forgot cocktail tables, and he sent them to go pick them up. The corrections could've been made at that time. In addition, the wrong glassware was delivered and never replaced, wrong trash can liners were provided, wrong linen material, items were left behind and there were other notable oversights. He also tried to charge us for items we did not have on our rental order. We later found out that he sub rented with another company without letting us know and later I told the other rental company to pick up the next day, although my clients could have been charged an extra fee for next day pick up. When we tried to resolve the issue professionally via email, the vendor insisted on discussing it by phone instead of responding in writing to not have a paper trail. Even after that call, we never received a follow-up or resolution. Another red flag: the vendor repeatedly claimed to be associated with Stephanie's Linens, yet they have made it clear to us--directly and professionally--that they have no affiliation with him and do not want to be associated with his business or practices. After working with him for years, they allowed him to barrow their showroom as he does not have an office or showroom himself, as he claims. He told us he was partners with this business and the showroom he visited was their office. This level of negligence and dishonesty is unacceptable. As event professionals, we value our vendor partnerships and aim for collaborative, solution-oriented communication. Unfortunately, this company failed in every category--product, service, and integrity. I do not recommend working with them under any circumstances.
