Cynthia and her crew have been an absolute godsent for my little Bonnie and me! She's taken care of Bonnie for over 3 years both for regular walking and dog socialization excursions and boarding for my longer international trips. I trust Cynthia to come into my home, pick up my dog and make sure keys are returned in place. She's very communicative and responsive. My days are long at work and commute, and Cynthia has been a relief to ensure Bonnie is walked and cared for. Oftentimes, she would take Bonnie home so she can play with Cynthia's dog instead of being home alone, and I appreciate her kindness in keeping Bonnie on top of her mind. Cynthia also sends regular updates of my dog when she's out walking them which is much appreciated. Cynthia and her team have been exercising my Dad's standard poodle for a few years now and we are very happy with the service we receive. Sierra 2 (the aforementioned standard poodle) is extremely energetic and always comes home tired and happy. Sometimes she is at a beach, sometimes a field, sometimes Redwood park. I always get great videos and pictures of her running circles around the other dogs happy as can be. Cynthia communicates promptly and effectively whenever unforeseen circumstances arise and a walk has to be cancelled or moved which we appreciate. Over the years the Amores Perros team has been an invaluable service for our Iggy. Iggy is a special lil one, with health and social special needs. All the walkers understand his quirks, and are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and caring. Cynthia and her team have been walking our beloved boy, Austin, for 7 years. Rain or shine they are there for him and for us every week. We love her and are so appreciative of the amazing, personalized care he receives on every walk. He can be selective with new dogs he meets and requires slow introductions. Cynthia and team always take the greatest care in making sure that the pack is the right one for him to join, that he is introduced slowly and appropriately to each of the new dogs in the pack, and that he has a great time on every walk. We also board Austin with Cynthia when we go on vacation or away for the holidays and he always has the best time! We get tons of pictures daily of him on walks, playing with other dogs, sleeping in strange beds and generally being really well taken care of! Oh my gosh. It's so hard to put into words how amazing Cynthia and her team of dog walkers (Amanda and Belinda) are. When we moved to the East Bay from SF, we were in a panic to try and find a dog walker who would accept our leash reactive old-man rescue, Bono. I met Cynthia at the Albany bulb for a test walk and Bono folded into the pack amazingly. Her patience and knowledge of each dog (who eats sticks, whose fur is prone to picking up burrs) and hyper-awareness of the less than well behaved dogs who walk the bulb are amazing. Cynthia and her team truly care for each dog and strive to provide the best walks possible. Since walking with Cynthia, we're able to take Bono to the beach off leash and his recall has improved greatly! Our little guy comes home every day tired from his walk and is ready to play after he takes his afternoon nap. Our vet has mentioned that the longer walks have helped stave off his senior arthritis which was amazing to hear. Cynthia also offers dog boarding that is exclusive to clients and getting pictures of the pack when they're all resting in the sun is the best thing to see while you're out of town. We feel to grateful to have Cynthia and her team as our dog walkers and would highly recommend them for your fur baby! read more

Cynthia has been walking our dog Ruca weekly for about three years, and she's just the best. She takes Ruca for group hikes along the beach for hours, and brings her back happy and super-exhausted. Ruca has also stayed with Cynthia at her house when we're out of town, and seems a little reluctant to come home with us when we pick her up. Cynthia is super flexible and is often able to walk Ruca with minimal notice, which we appreciate given our busy schedules. I wouldn't ask anyone else to walk our pup. read more

I have been hesitant to write a review for Amores Perros as this may mean that Cynthia (the owner) might become fully booked and not be able to take my psychotic puppy out BUT I love her and I want her business to do well so here I am reluctantly yelping her. Cynthia has a ridiculous amount of experience walking dogs. She handles six dogs at one time with ease and making it seem like she's just walking one. She understands our dog better than we do a lot of times. She also takes him to different places so he doesn't get bored with his walks. She sends us text messages about how his walk went and sometimes pictures. She always lets us know if something seems funny with him. When we first started with her she was working for another company but has branched out on her own. She not only walks dogs but also boards dogs and helps foster them. Pretty much she's like a canine Mother Theresa. At least that's how I think of her especially when my dog is acting like a butt head. Cynthia not only walks your dog but she also coordinates her groups to have complimentary dogs on each walk, that's a nice way of saying she takes my crazy hyper mutt and walks him with another crazy hyper mutt so that both mutts come back dead tired and quiet WHICH IS A MINOR MIRACLE!! One of the reasons why we actually ended up hiring Cynthia was that we used to go Point Isabelle all the time with our dog and saw her there. Usually when we see dog walkers sometimes they'll be looking around for their dogs, or looking frazzled. Cynthia was handling six dogs, knew where each one was, knew the personality of each (ie one was older and needed more help, one was crazy hyper and running after a ball she was throwing to make sure that one was tired, one was lazy and overweight so she was cajoling him/her to move her tubby butt). So aside from the fact that our dog instantly fell in love with her and would hunt her down everytime we went to Pt. Isabelle we also fell in love with her because she not only walked our dog but at the same time trained him or reinforced our training. Okay. I'm done praising her. I don't want too many of you hiring her I only want a few so we can keep our time spot. Carry on. read more
