Over the last seven years, we have had Showcase Construction remodel our house, build a large deck…read moreon a rental house and various other jobs such as finish work to accommodate all new, larger appliances in the kitchen. The estimate they have given us for the work is always very close to the final bill. (Invariably something comes up during the renovation that WE decide to add on and then we go over.) If Showcase tells you the job will be completed by a certain date, they are going to do EVERYTHING humanly possible to complete it by then. For example, when we had them gut and remodel our house, they went two weeks over. TWO weeks and they apologized for it. People love that story because their construction projects have typically gone months over! Their construction site is a tidy site; we've always been impressed by how the workers put EVERYTHING away each night. The owner started out as a cabinet builder who later became a general contractor. His cabinetry skills really show in his attention to detail. We like to patronize locally owned businesses who hire permanent employees. It's makes us nervous when we hire someone who picks up day laborers at Home Depot. Showcase subcontracts ONLY to other companies that they personally know, trust and have worked with for many years. (I should mention that the only work they subcontract is for jobs that require specialized expertise such as tile, etc.) If you think this review is just too nice, read my other reviews, I'm pretty picky.

Getting ready to sell my home for sale and have a plethora of work prior to listing. One aspect of…read morethe renovations I needed was carpentry work done on an overhanging patio on the exterior of the home. There was a ton of rotting wood and I needed it completely fixed to not only look great before getting an exterior paint job, but also to PASS INSPECTION. I have gone through extensive research when picking contractors.. maybe 7-8 quotes for each job, including everything to flooring to counters to Paint. When it came to carpentry I was surprised on how hard it was to find consistent quotes. My job was for the most part very vague, Please fix select boards with wood rot on a giantic overhanging patio so that it will look good for paint and also pass inspection. Most people didn't know where to even start it was so bad. Others told me not to waist my time and just completely remove the structure as it will save me money. Others came in as a low bid and seemed optimistic, but when time came for work they had no license. No bueno. Moises on the other hand was what I was looking for. Someone competent who actually understood how to handle the job and articulated it to me properly. Moises actually stuck to his original timeline, and involved me in decision making as the project progressed. On the final day after project was completed, I was surprised to see that he actually replaced/repaired more of the work than I originally thought needed. It was refreshing to work with a contractor who DIDNT try to cut corners. He also cleaned up on both days after his work really well. Moises is defiantly a good contractor, supplies all proof of license/insurance and cares about quality. Will refer to friends/famliy.

Creative Design & Build helped me make my dark outdated kitchen into the modern bright kitchen…read more Shiran H. was my Project Manager and she did a great job. Shiran discussed step by step the process of what to expect, estimated time frames, and answered any questions I had prior to signing a contract with Creative Design & Build. Shiran did an excellent job of communicating with me throughout the entire process. In addition, Shiran was instrumental in assisting me in selecting the right colors and materials to help make my kitchen update vision come true. The Creative Design & Build Team were professional, on time, and were skilled hard workers. They kept dust and debris to a minimum and cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall, I am very pleased with the end result and would recommend Creative Design & Build. KB

Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.
