This place used to be family owned and had great service. Last weekend I went and there was a different staff. The man was very short and barely greeted me. He did my nails and i disputed the price because the website said $25 and he said $35. His argument was that the website was ol. Unfortunately that isnt the customers problem! Then a few days later the no chip started chipping and peeling off. I went back today to get them fixed. He looked at them and didn't apologize for the mistake and told me to go find the same color. I sat down and asked how long I would wait. He told me 45 minutes because I didn't make an appointment. RIDICULOUS!! My mom and I tried Amour while I'm in town for the holiday since they have the dip powder. First, I coukd tell their process is different than I'm used to where I go in Denver. Then, they charged $15 each more than they told my mom over the phone that they charge. When we asked about it, the woman yelled at us that there was no way she would have said the wrong price and then walked away. No budging or meeting in the middle. I have been going to this salon since it opened and absolutely love it! The place is always clean and usually smells fresher than most nail salons. You can walk in or call in an appointment. I went to so many salons before finding this one! I'm from Brazil, and it is really hard to find a really good manicure as we have there. I'm so glad that I found one! My go to person is Tina. Worst set of acrylics I have ever gotten. It took her over an hour to put them, looking like she was perfecting them but kept piling on the acrylic powder without filing them down at all (even after I asked). Also, she didn't say a word when I started to bleed after she nicked my cuticle with the electric drill. Had the acrylics on for vacation, and after a week they just started popping off. I have never had acrylics come off that easy, let alone fall off without doing anything. Stick-on nails from Walmart have lasted me longer... Won't be going back. read more

Needed a quick mani pedi on my way out of town. Another Salon had scheduling error so my appointment there wasn't available. Stopped in Amour and luckily they had time to squeeze me in. The folks here are super sweet, I'll start with that. However, the lady who did my mani pedi was very rough with massaging and cuticles. Even cut one of my cuticles so deeply it took several applications of styptic to stop the bleeding. :( No worries- on to Vinylux. The manicurist started applying base coat - not needed nor recommended with this product. When questioned, she admitted not knowing about the product line. Oh dear. Removed the base coat and applied color only to learn that they didn't have the appropriate top coat for the product line either. Luckily I have at home so finished the color and did top coat myself at home. My daughter had a much different experience- beautiful powder coated iridescent polish. Gorgeous. Guess it depends on the tech. To top it off, shopping center is super busy. Makes for parking challenge. read more

I don't typically get my nails done because (1) I'm a music therapist, which means that playing guitar everyday typically kills any nail polish I have (2) I still have a terrible nail-biting habit, and (3) I keep a fairly conservative budget. However, I recently had to get my nails painted for an event, and selected this location because it is very near my house and appeared to have reasonable pricing. I came in late on a Tuesday, so there was only one other customer, and I didn't have to wait to be helped. The woman who did my nails was pleasantly talkative, and very efficient in her work. The space appeared to be clean, and I was very comfortable during the whole service. 5 stars. I wondered if my no-chip would hold up well against frequent contact with steel strings, but it's been two weeks since I visited and they look nearly as good as when I got them. I'm very impressed with the quality of work she did, and I am planning on returning once I've beat up this set so that I can have a new color for the holidays because this is very clearly worth the price. 5+ stars. read more

Extremely disappointed with this place! Took my mom to get her nails done. My mom speaks very little English and I couldn't stay with her because I had to take care of my 4 month old. However, when I dropped her off I told the technician exactly what my mom needed. When I came back to pick up my mom, she told me the technician was extremely rude to her due to my mom speaking little English. She yanked her hand out from the LED lamp and as you can see from the pics, left her pedicure a complete mess. When my mom told me this, I immediately addressed the technician. The worst manicure and pedicure I've had. Done by Chris, they said it was a girl, looks like a young boy. Terrible job, didn't push my cuticles back, and faked like it was trimming them but it did not. The polish they have is old, then when it put the polish on my toenails and fingernails, it left a big gap from the top of my cuticle to where the polish started, so when it was done it actually looked like a week old grown out polish. The next day, it all started chipping because why? IT didn't wait for the coats to dry, the polish was old, I don't know, but I'm never going back and I DO NOT recommend this place. read more

I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I absolutely NEED them done perfectly. So i did my research on Yelp and found this place that was down the street from her house, not too long of a walk. Upon my arrival first thing i noticed was the wide selection of colors. It literally took me good 5 min to choose the color i wanted. The nail tech i got was very nice and attentive. If i didn't like something she fixed it right away (without whispering things in their language to the girl behind her). Three weeks later my Gel mani is still in very good condition. The most relaxing pedicure I've gotten in a long time. It was my first time here and I got the green tea pedicure treatment, which is well worth the price. Maggie has been doing my nails for the last 5 months - she is the best! I get gel nails with a no-chip polish on top. I have tried dozens of no-chips manicures and powder dips but nothing ever stays on my nails. I must be super hard on my nails but with Maggie's magic I am able to keep my manicure lasting for 3 weeks! She pays attention to every detail and knows some of the "triggers" that can cause my nails to break or polish to peel and works around those. Her and her husband, Eric, own the spa and are always super friendly and accommodating. I recommend calling ahead for an appointment if you want to have Magee. Hi everyone! So I have been going to Amour for about 6 years now I even went back when it was a LUVS nails I think about 8 years ago. I love they're service so much I've been to so many places around here and amours service tops all of them. Even when it is busy they make sure someone can take you and they don't do any rush jobs, if they don't have enough time they tell you to reschedule because they want to do a good job. If you do go I would suggest Maggie for sure or her husband they are both very good. I've never had my nails look this good until Maggie did them. read more
