to start off this employee deserves 0 stars and should be fired for the way he treats customers The worker in the store was a young indian man with ear piercings and he was clipping his nails while i was visiting and when i was checking out he was harassing with me with questions like where do i work when can he come visit me how old am i and if can have my schedule, mind you i told him i work in a women's apparel store, thinking he was trying to be nice but he kept escalating the questions and getting more and more creepy and i started to ignore him and walked away and he yelled bye i can't wait you visit you at your work! see you soon in a uncomfortable way! as a young women i see this completely and utterly disgusting and inappropriate especially at the workplace he needs to be fired and learn that is not the way to speak to a women and to not force answers out of costumers that are women and even more importantly are under the age of 20! tell him to stay back and not come near me and or my work place ever because if i find him searching for me i will call security right away read more

I come here for a soda quite often (yes, I should cut down my soda habit lol), and there's a young Indian gentleman who always greets me and is very friendly. I don't see how people have been ripped off here in accordance with other reviews, but I get an Extra-Large soda for only $1.60! It's probably the cheapest location for my needs. I haven't filled up my vehicle here because I own an EV at this time, but it's nice I can walk in and it's quick and simple. Store is also very well-kept. I think people don't have good reviews because I've noticed a lot of items don't have price-tags (which can be used to upsell/charge more to customers), but I haven't had any issues with that. I guess kindness pays off, as it takes nothing to be nice. read more

I live right down the street so I come here quite often. There's a younger Indian guy who's been working there for about a year and a half. I have caught him adding $1-$2 to my purchase. He thinks he is slick, but every time I call him out on it he actually has the audacity to try to turn it around on me. He's straight up stealing and he knows it. Tonight after putting $100 in gas in my truck I went inside to purchase one of those pop-top Extra gum, it has 40 pieces......it's priced at $6.49. He tried to charge me $8.49. I hope the owners read these reviews, but they probably don't. I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of their family members. But if it's not, I hope you know this guy is bad for business because I will be bringing my business elsewhere. I may even switch my gas card account for my company from Arco to another fueling chain. Arco would probably be pretty disappointed to find out they lost $180,000 per year account. I caught him again tonight and he got a little attitude with me. I asked him if the owner knew he was stealing from customers. I'll be blunt. The gas may be cheap, but the pumps are extremely slow, even with no one else pumping. However, the real problem is the AMPM part. I went in to buy a pack of SweetTarts which is $2.19 at every other AMPM in the area. At this location, it is labeled $2.79. Worse still, it rings up at the register at $2.99 and they said they haven't updated the tags yet. So, already I'm out $0.80. I also got a 32oz soda which is labeled 99 cents just like every other AMPM. It rang up at $1.49 and I was told the promotion was over (it's not, other AMPMs are still doing it). So that's another $0.50 I'm out. Also, I don't think they ever clean their soda pumps or hoses. The drink was so sickeningly sweet, I almost couldn't even taste the Coke flavor. It tasted like months of sugar was still in the lines. So, long story short, don't use this location. Drive up 2 more blocks and turn left on Sunset and use the location at the corner of Park and Sunset. Faster pumps and a clean AMPM with accurate pricing. read more

BEWARE of their buy 4 get one free drinks. Bad , dishonest business practices. I brought my card in stamped for 4 drinks . I went to get my 5th free coffee cup and the attendant would not honor it. I thought it might be a new person, tried the next time when I gassed up an they said they won't take that kind of card anymore. ( convent, after I purchased their 4 drinks. they had no problem taking the card when I was purchasing the 4 drinks. Very dishonest practice as far as I am concerned. read more

The ATMs outside are consistently out of order so you have to go inside. The employees and attendants are NOT wearing masks inside so just be prepared for that. The cashier is behind plexiglass but the other one just walks around the store restocking without a mask. It's not COVID safe so it's worth going to the Chevron across the street where the ATMs at the pumps actually work. read more

I always go to this station for gas and snacks...they are friendly and about .45 per gallon less than the gas station just across the street. This past week I had a low tire pressure warning pop up on my new car. I would stop in at this store a couple of times a week for gas and a .99 32 oz soda. Last time I was in I was charged $1.50. Not a big deal. I understand inflation and prices go up. But when I asked about it and said the sign says .99 the clerk with her very rehearsed emotionless speech flatly said, " The price changed over night and the owner said if you don't like it you can go somewhere else." I have been coming to this location for decades and I have 7 vehicles which need gas frequently. But I am taking the clerks suggestion and I am going somewhere else. read more

So I went in to this store today and gave the clerk $100 . He gave me $80 back I asked him to put $20 on pump 6. I continued to go to the pump to pump my gas and the pump wouldn't reset to dispense my gas. I walked back into the store to tell the clerk to reset the pump he then continued to tell me that someone stole my gas and there is nothing he can do? How can someone steal my gas when I was standing there? I then asked if I could speak to an owner or manager to resolve the matter. He refused to give me his managers phone number or the owners phone number so I can resolve this matter. They will not comply they will not provide me with the info or they won't even let me look at the cameras to prove my gas was stolen. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! THEY ARE THIEVES!! read more

I go here pretty often for gas, since it's usually the cheapest in the area. (Which means it can get pretty crowded but oh well). Anyways, the biggest reason why I felt the urge to leave a review is because of the encounter I had with the cashier last night. I had a terrible day and had just received some really bad news before coming in to get snacks. I was crying and the cashier who handled my transaction was really nice. I really feel he went the extra mile, he asked if I was okay and when I headed out he told me not to cry and to have a good night. Then when I was standing outside by my car he leaned out the door and asked if I wanted coffee or needed anything and idk, he was just very nice and not too pushy or whatever and I really appreciated his genuine concern.
