First of all when I came to the store I asked for water with my friends, when I got the water the clerk gave me the water and said "Here is your water and never come back" me and my friends were confused, also since it was very hot my friends was just drinking water in that 711 and the clerk came up to them and asked "Are you guys buying anything" they said no and then he said "Then get out of the store." My props to this 7-11 for being maybe the cleanest, nicest (both in terms of the building and the experience) and stocked of any location I've been in. I'm not going to get to carried away in a review of a convenience store, but I must give credit where credit is due. This is a store run by folks who care about their business. I popped in for a water and a coffee while in the neighborhood. I was happy to find I was greeted right away. The store was super clean inside and I even spent a lot of time browsing the aisles. Unlike other locations I've been in that look sad and picked over, this place keeps a nice stock on its aisles. I bought some lotto tickets as well, feeling lucky. Bought a soda and when I opened it, it smelled foul. I took it back to ask if I could exchange it and was told I could not. So they sell bad product and then don't exchange it once they are notified. Won't be stopping there again. read more

1) Count your change. The night shift guy will always round your change down; in dollars. 2) Check your total. They don't actually ring anything up. The register isn't even on half the time? 3) ask for a receipt. See number 2. It's just fun to watch the crooks squirm. 4) check the expiration dates. I once pointed out that half the milk and eggs were expired by a month. Fair mistake. Two weeks later, same produce, same expiration date. 5) don't complain if you got thin skin. If you do any of the above, expect a tirade of insults. 6) don't complain if you can't defend yourself. Complained to the owner. He applied a free drink to my name. Wonderful, if I redeem it, no the guy who just blew up on my will be able to put a name to my face. 7) the owner just doesn't care. Told me he addressed the issues; came back and it was the same crap. 8) Leave plenty of time to check out. Night shift guy is on his phone an cannot be inconvenienced with actually doing his job. Losses it in the service. This location is well stocked. They have a good selection of items. Even some good cigars. The service is just plain bad. I have been here a few times and still go if it is convenient. Each time when you get to the counter the staff is unsociable at best. Never a hello or thank you. Maybe there is a language barrier but they could at least say thank you or smile. You have to watch them scan also. I have had a few times were they double scan an item. Then of course say they didn't = point to the two bag of chips on the payment screen and one bag on the counter and get a grumble. Not a first choice. read more

$1 Slurpees I've only become a regular here because of the Mondays $1 any-size Slurpees! It does run out by late afternoon so it's better to come in early. I was also told that it's $1 any-size coffee on Wednesdays (now I'm not sure if that includes iced-coffee - sorry, I'm not a coffee drinker), and on Fridays is $1 any-size sodas. So far, I've only taken advantage of the $1 Slurpees on Mondays. What else have I tried here, yes, their nachos. I usually don't buy these things in convenient stores but I halfed it with my co-worker, the processed cheese was too spicy for me! I normally would never rate this place poorly because I come here all the time and have always had really good customer service experiences, however tonight was a major exception to that... I paid for a Puff Electronic Cigarette and they knew I normally come in and basically already had it on the counter before i even asked him for it. I paid for it and left. Once i opened the package about 2 hours later it was COMPLETELY defective, like it was packaged fine but the item was totally defective didn't work at all. I assumed that if I came back and nicely asked for a exchange on it the gentleman would agree to it because i was scammed out of $15. When i explain everything that happened and show him the original packaging, puff, and receipt indicating when i bought it he completely disregarded me and kept saying "no no no" whenever I tried to get a word out... I asked him "so you're saying you sold me an item that is completely defective and you aren't going to give me a exchange or refund" and he just continued saying "nononono" and so then i just left. Pretty shitty customer service if you ask me, if you're looking for electric cigarettes don't buy them here because they obviously buy fake 3rd party items that ship defective. read more

I'm not normally a customer of convenience stores but I stopped at this one the other evening to turn in a winning Lotto ticket. What a mistake. I buy my tickets with the future play which allows you to get any number of consecutive draws up to the value of $20. Thus, a single pick with Power Ball or Magabucks at $2 a draw would be 10 consecutive draws. Turn in a winning ticket, mine was for $2, and you get an exchange ticket for the remaining draws and your winning money. The older man behind the counter initially refused to give me my exchange ticket. I finally got it and he then decided he wasn't going to pay me my money. Naturally his English disappeared along with even the most minimal sense of customer service. Not that he showed much when I entered the store either. At this point a younger man of the same family or country appeared and the two got into a long argument over what to do with my ticket and money. I didn't understand a word but it was clear that the younger man was trying to convince the other person that I was owed both an exchange ticket and $2. This argument went on for a good 5 minutes while I stood there reminding myself how wonderful diversity is. Eventually I did get my ticket and my money but not without a final hateful glare from the first clerk who was convinced that I had somehow cheated him. read more

I live nearby this 7-eleven, so I can't do anything else but love it for the convenience. They're always well-stocked and have what I need (mostly alcohol) and they keep it all clean and organized. The employees are also the best I've experienced. In total, there's about 20 parking slots. They never get all filled up, but the store still gets a lot of customers from noon to evening. As with all convenience stores, this place is no exception to the visitation of night dwellers. They vary from polite to rude, but they're way better here than they are back where I'm from. In the ghetto! You'll get your occasional loitering teens, but they're alright. Now, I've never needed to use the bathroom here, but they close it at night, so be cautious with your bladder. Regardless of some small faults, I enjoy this 7-eleven, and I'll always prefer coming here for my needs. read more

This 7-Eleven has the rudest customer service the guy that works behind the counter never ever says hello because he's too busy on the phone the entire time you were in the store he is speaking to someone on the phone through his earpiece he ignores you when you're talking to him he ignores you when you walk in because he still on the phone with whoever he's speaking to it doesn't matter if it's five minutes you're in the store or 20 minutes he will stay on the phone talking to whoever he's on the phone with through his earpiece and completely ignore the customer and then when he goes to ring up your items he doesn't even allow you enough time to enter your phone number to get your credit and your rewards points he just tells you your total this 7-Eleven Hass to be the worst I don't know if it's family owned because it seems like most of the 7-Eleven's in this area all treat their customers the same they don't speak to them they don't acknowledge them and they are always on the phone on their Bluetooth talking to someone else in another language it's very rude very disrespectful and I will tell everyone I know to not use this 7-Eleven I am over how rude they are and I am over how disrespectful they are when we walk into a store to spend money at their store they cannot even stop and hang up the phone and have to still continue a conversation with a third-party read more

Stood at the counter waiting for cashier for atleast 4-5min before he came to help me as I waited at register. Was the only person in the store the entire time. As soon as he decides to come ask what I need, 10 other ppl enter the store and of course he has to help them before getting my propane. Now ive waited 10min outside for him to finally come do exchange to no avail. Nice touch with the Oakland Raider trinkets filling the end cap of this 7-eleven out in upper middle class suburbia. I guess that would explain the sudden surge of the soccer moms with the Raider Nation or "Black Hole" bumper stickers on the back of the Mercedes SUVs. Beyond the great selection of Raider collectibles, one will find the standard convenience store fare in a new, clean and organized fashion. The landscapers of the community should enjoy their newest lunch and breakfast hot spot with the extra large, Big Bite and taquito case and double spout, quasi cheese, dispenser. I have only been to this 7-eleven a handful of times but each time I am able to find whatever I need to grab in a hurry before work. This store is always fully stocked and even has extra stuff that many other convenient stores don't always have. It is also a lot cleaner than many others I have been to. I usually go to the Blue Oaks store just because it is on the way home but I do like this one better. My last visit I had called to see if they had my favorite Jalapeno Cream Cheese taquitos because the Blue Oaks store had only one and did not understand me when I asked if they had anymore in the back. Lol he kept thinking I said put it back. The guy for this store said on the phone he would be happy to prepare as many as I like so we headed from the Blue Oaks store over to this Rocklin one. They also had a Doritos hot foods section and I'm a fan of any cheese filled hot food. Very friendly service as well. read more
