I stuffed my Kirkland cargo utility trousers with a revolvers chamber worth of flaccid meat conduits, my thighs began to cook the dogs from the radiant heat due to intense frolicking throughout the aisles. I've always ran hot, like an aged thunderbird. I just had to sample the various succulent provenders that act as end caps to the enabling aisles of over consumption, Tis the American way and I for one, am a true patriot. People call me Americas sweetheart. At any rate, I now can wipe relentlessly without worry of depleting my supply of rumpus papyrus. And I've got my dogs with me for the next 30 minutes. When I sought a refund, the membership desk staff insisted I should have stored the foul-smelling, rotten meat in my freezer and transported it back in my personal vehicle to prove the claim. When I questioned the hygiene and health risks of this request, the staff became dismissive and confrontational. While I eventually secured a refund, the process was unnecessarily difficult and like pulling teeth for a loyal customer over a $40 item. Forcing members to handle biohazardous waste to satisfy a return policy is a significant health protocol oversight. Costco is always a good experience. Quality products at a good price. The savings more than pay for the reasonable annual fee. There are also products here (beyond the Kirkland branded products) that I don't find elsewhere locally. About 2-1/2 years ago, I started using Costco more after terminating my Amazon Prime membership. I was able to find many of the products Costco that I'd been buying regularly through Prime. Some of the were even offered at a much better price at Costco. I can order online for larger items that would take up a lot of room in my cart. They arrive very quickly, often the next day, with no delivery fee if my order is above $75. That is an easy goal to reach buying in bulk. There are also some items that incur no delivery cost even if the total is under $75. read more

I seen a big review on top gas offered in our area and costco ranks high in quality and cleaning power. And its cheaper ! The person who runs this station deserves credit for a very clean station. Costco is Costco, and they all seem to be exactly the same when it comes to being busy. The Roseville location was no exception, and the parking lot was packed, so it took some time just to find a spot. I went in to grab a few things and ended up finding a frog sprinkler tunnel for my son, which was a great find. It is always a bit hectic navigating the crowds, but that is just the standard Costco experience no matter which location you go to. They obviously have great deals when buying things in bulk, which makes up for everything else. read more

The newest Costco in the area but this gas station actually opened prior to the 2/23/26 store grand opening. Being so close to home, we not only love its proximity but there NEVER is a line to wait! Let's hope that remains the case for a while. There's 40 pumps and what I especially like is the red/green indicators of which pumps are being used & open. Hubs really appreciates the 'separation' of lots for this and the store. Side note: there's also a car wash! I've yet to try it, but it'll cost ya $9 a pop. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot use the patented Triad of Culinary Excellence competencies to score this with the correct accuracy and precision- I am going to have to take this to the streets and ride the pale horse alone. And here is a sign that they know they did something horrifically wrong a priori. Everyone within a days walk of a Costco knows the chicken is $4.99. You will note on one of the photos the "price tag" for the chicken.... $4.28. Not $4.99. Not "we all have to take one for the team" price of $5.25 or worse corporate greed blaming inflation numbers that the president said are at an all time low of $5.99 (still quite the deal if the chicken wasn't the teen age version of what normally is served.) $4.28 At a cost of $1.66 per pound. Was this an accident? Let me see. They specifically said they monitor this like a hawk because it's a loss leader and let me tell you folks, I sometimes will pick up 4 birds, I'm all in for $20 plus some government shakedown funding and I have a foundation for four dinners for four to five people. So yes, people come for the chicken. And no, I do not feel guilty about the situation. But let me be clear- this mess started when they went to this ridiculous bag. And now, what was once a proud, potentially artificially augmented plump, juicy chicken breasts shining through that microplastic emitting translucent shell, is a bag of juice and what can only be described as disappointment. Now, before you haters start counter arguing that I should have chosen not to buy the "off price" chicken, and that it was my fault. In this case, my son offered to pick some items up as he was going there for some other items. My son is precise. So when he was asked to pick up a rotisserie chicken....well, that's what he did. And Costco was outright charging by the pound for the shrinking birds. I'm not going to lie, at first I was going to go hard at Costco for shrinkflation but to ALSO start charging by the pound instead of the $4.99? So here is what's going to happen. People go home, find a skinny bird in a bag and they are going to complain. I bet some take them back. And customer service will say "due to inflation and current economic conditions (never better according to potus), we changed the policy to a number that would average cost the chickens around or below $4.99. And next time you go in you will see the most plump and delicious chickens ever. You will grab one thinking "$4.99, thank you Costco!" You get to the checkout and you watch the swipe expecting $4.99 but get $8.72. It's the end of times people. We are within weeks of Costco ever selling a version of this in a bucket labeled "Emergency Kit Chicken", I'll know we've crossed the rubicon people. Final Thought: This bird wasn't roasted. Store is filled with great deals, and great employees. I love that the mobility carts are kept at full charge, as they have been at all the Costco stores I've visited. Parking lot is always filled, as it should be. I always find a spot to my liking; however, an additional four inches of width per spot would go a long way, as we need to load stuff up when we're done shopping, after all. I drive a truck a long way, and prefer my refrigerated goods in the cab with me. I like the fuel station accessibility. I hit it up on the way in, so no groceries have to wait out a fuel up before the trip home. Quick to find openings, because so many people wait for the pump on their fuel tank side. I've utilized the automotive department for a new battery. I installed my own, but confirming the correct purchase, and later returning my core was a straightforward, and welcoming experience. read more

The pizza is always hot, not greasy, and taste great. And for less than $10 a pizza, you really can't beat it. The employees were super nice and helpful--they even gave us extra plates and napkins, which made things so much easier. The Scouts loved the pizza, and it was the perfect, affordable option for our group! Recently rejoined Costco membership this past year after leaving them ten years ago. For the two of us, it just didn't seem worth it to buy in bulk until they opened one in Natomas near home. Unfortunately that location does not have gas so we came to the Roseville location for the gas while in the area. I've always known this one to be busy but thought going on a Monday early afternoon it might not be too bad. I was wrong. Just walking in was chaos. I stood in a very long line to do a return with two cashiers. By the time I got to the front, the line behind me reached the door which was about 12 people deep. I also had to renew my membership and asked if she could do that. Nope. I had to go stand in another line. Ridiculous. We wanted to grab a hot dog and drink but there was no where to sit or even standup cocktail tables because in this large busy location, there were only 4 tables in a very small dining area. We ate out of our shopping cart. I was already extremely irritated and just wanted to go home. Hubs persuaded me to stay and shop since we were already here. Fine. The selection did not seem the same as Natomas. We buy a 6 pack gallon Crystal Geysers and they did not have them at all. The layout just seemed non-sensical or maybe not what I am used to. Sodas were in a completely different section to their other drinks. The check out lines were massively long. I had a rewards certificate and asked if I could use it at the self checkout and the gal just flatly said NO. Not "so sorry no. " Parking is nearly impossible to find. I will never return to this location for shopping. If you like crowds and incessant waiting, come here! read more

It is adorned with a beautiful sugar lattice golden brown crust that is glistened in sparkles and crunch. Costco's apple pie meets a spring forward twist of sweet strawberries and raspberries for that vibrant red hue. This ginormous pie is syrupy sweet for my liking much like a Halloween candy. I'm usually a big fan of Costco, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I ordered a whole cheese pizza from the food court before shopping. When I came back to pick it up, I was handed the wrong order. I immediately brought it back to the pizza pickup line and was met with visible frustration from Helena, as if the mistake was somehow my fault. I was told I had to wait for my correct pizza. While waiting, there was already a cheese pizza sitting on the rack. I politely asked if my kids could have a couple of slices since they were hungry and impatient, and Helena said no. She then pointed to the oven and said my pizza was next and coming out. That same pizza was boxed up and given to another customer who had ordered after me. In total, I waited 50 minutes for a pizza I had ordered ahead of time. When I finally received my pizza, it was undercooked, with raw dough in the center. After waiting that long, this was extremely frustrating. Helena was consistently rude throughout the interaction, and the lack of communication or accountability made the situation unnecessarily stressful. I eventually had to go find a manager myself. The manager did refund the order, which I appreciate, but the pizza should have still been prepared correctly and the customer service handled with basic courtesy from the start. This Costco warehouse isn't as large as other Sacramento locations. Confirmed via chat with a store associate. But Roseville Costco has a larger gas station than Expo and Citrus Heights! This location specializes in organics. And some unique items like a Spanish infused pig/ham that I glanced at. Indoor food court. Still only selling the "meh" products - pizza (cheese or pepperoni), hot dog and soda (still $1.50), chicken bake, churro, iced coffee, sundae, smoothie, mmm, I think that's it. No BBQ brisket sammich or chili. Doesnt carry Mexican bottled Coca-Cola. See Expo, business center (Watt Ave), or Citrus Heights (irregular offering - found 1-17-23 in back corner by canned sodas and paper products).
