Every single time I have keyan u as cashier, something is done incorrectly and have to go back. even when I'm in line I try and catch it yet nothing isn't corrected fully. This is one of my favorite grocery outlet in the area it conveniently located off of Lonetree next to the dollar tree store every grocery outlet is privately owned this is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere this location has a very wide selection of items they don't just have food they have much more they have clothes they have blankets they have a very wide selection of several different items to choose from everyone here is so friendly and very helpful which makes my shopping experience that much better when asked the employee where a certain item was they walked me right over to the item which made me very happy that they went above and beyond they even had my dogs food here which I didn't know if they would which made it easier for me and I didn't have to go to another store after shopping here I highly recommend this grocery outlet to anyone they are very affordable and they are very helpful they are awesome I did remember to bring my bags since the plastic bags are banned they do sell paper bags for .15 cents in case you need them thank you grocery outlet in Rocklin you guys are awesome thank you again and I will see you again very soon read more

Continues to impress! The aisles and shelves are typically packed and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the deals can't be beat. I have a dairy and egg allergy which can make it expensive to find options at other grocery stores but they always have so many options here. With my allergy I eat vegan a lot as well, and the amount of meat alternatives that they have regularly is amazing. A trip that would cost me easily $200 at Walmart comes to about $60 here. read more

My only other complaint is that when I use instacart, they are often out of items that instacart says are in stock. That's always kind of a bummer. This location has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at a grocery outlet store. I called ahead and spoke with the manager to do a return and repurchase for six items - he gave me the OK, so I drove over there. They were 6 heavy items, so I only brought one with me figuring he could scan it six times since I'm basically just changing my payment method. He refused to do so, and would only return one and let me re-purchase one, but had no actual reason for doing this, which was extremely unprofessional. It made absolutely no sense. He was not helpful at all and then refused to help me with even the one return. I don't know if he was lazy, vindictive, or just lacked even a sliver of common sense, but it was definitely not based on company policy (Auburn location took care of it for me with ease.) I highly recommend going to the Auburn location instead. The few minutes of extra drive time will be more than worth it for the exemplary customer service that you'll receive at that store compared to the absolute asinine em management at this location. He either didn't know how to do math or just refused to do his job out of pure laziness. It was absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary and I will never ever spend another dime at the Rocklin store. I will also be contacting corporate to notify them of this situation. Fingers crossed they'll get rid of Mitch and hire someone that's actually willing to do their job. Recently I was looking for some large ceramic pots for my garden. However, I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg because these pots tend to be very pricey. My friend suggested I check out Grocery Outlet and that struck me as an interesting suggestion because I never thought they would have large ceramic pots. Cans, yes, but large pots? So I drove by the store and lo and behold, there were a bunch outside the front entrance of the store just waiting for me! I tried lifting one but it was impossible to move. I ended up buying a large one and a nice employee loaded it in the car for me. A few days later I decided to return for a couple more. There weren't any outside the store so I thought maybe they'd have more inside. While I was looking for them, I found some fun items at great prices. For example, my husband loves Bubly and they had a 12 pack for the price we usually see an 8-pack on sale. So I was checking out and lamenting to the cashier that the ceramic pots were all gone. She said that yes, they went pretty fast. The guy who was bagging my groceries overheard us talking and said that they actually got a new shipment in and that if I came tomorrow, they would be for sale. I wasn't too thrilled about having to come out the next day so I asked if he could ask them if I could just pick one up now, since they were already there. He called to the back and at first they asked if I would just come an hour later and they would have it unpacked. But then one of the managers (I think) came out and actually led me to the back where I got to see their shipment. I was so impressed that he stopped everything he was doing to work on a new crate of items that hadn't even been cut or unboxed yet. He let me choose whichever pots I wanted and even loaded them into a cart for me, rang me up, brought it to my car and even loaded them. They were pretty heavy so I'm very grateful for his help. All the employees on my visits were very friendly and helpful and I'm especially thankful to Stephen/Steven (possibly one of the managers?) for helping me with my ceramic pot search and showing exceptional customer service. Will definitely return to this location and tell all my friends about how great they are...especially if you're looking for ceramic gardening pots at a pretty good price. :) read more

This was my first visit to this store... and I came here solely to do some shopping for my mom (she's lying low due to the corona). Mom likes wine and Grocery Outlet has a great deal on wine that she likes! Who on earth would let their mom run out of wine? Not this kid! So off to Grocery Outlet I went. I loaded up a case of her favorite "daily" wine (a Malbec from Argentina) and a couple other items in my cart then wandered around a bit since this was my first time in the store. I have shopped here since 2015 and it is an awesome grocery store. The purpose of my review is to contradict the garbage review left by some angry lady in April. She didn't get her way for whatever reason so she thought she'd be some kind of keyboard vigilante and that's just garbage. The employee she mentioned is a sweet, kind man. I've never known him, or any of the other employees there, to not bend over backwards to accommodate requests or just be friendly and efficient every step of the way. I was surprised to find this Grocery Outlet in this somewhat upscale part of town. Normally I had equated Grocery Outlet with other discount grocery stores like Win Co and Food Maxx located in less affluent parts of town. I was thinking Grocery Outlet was like the old canned food stores or places that sold almost out of date products. This store is actually quite nice and clean. I suppose the location has something to do with the customer base it draws. It's clean and has some decent prices on wine and groceries. Not everything is in a mega pack like Costco, so it's not warehouse like in that sense. I'll maybe make more of an effort to come here. It's like the opposite of going to Whole Foods. read more

My Go To grocery store... This Grocery Outlet place has great deals here. "Fun Facts"... Grocery Outlet used to be called the Canned Food Store back in the day, slightly dented cans at greatly reduced prices was the old add but now you can find everything you find at a regular grocery store at low prices but remember if you find something you like better buy a lot and store it freeze it whatever it takes because there's no guarantee it will be there next week. I always start there then I go to the next grocery store by going through the sales and find myself get more food in the long run and when you have kids every penny counts. The deals are good more often than not, the staff is always very friendly, parking is easy BUT lately I've been going home with stale, expired food. It's nice to learn that Grocery Outlet found a location to replace their recently closed store on Douglas in Granite Bay (which is now a mini Walmart grocery store). This location is new and fresh, and offers a very pleasant shopping experience for a discount outlet. While the best deals are on the savings from GO's bulk purchases of bargain items from various distributors in California, this store has a bit of everything to fill in the gaps. You have to visit about once a week to find the best of the discounted food selections, as they come and go with the seasons. Very good pricing all of the time on their extensive inventory of wine. Nobody in the area can beat their prices when it comes to the wine sales, and they constantly have a very good selection to choose from. I've seen a few $20 bottles of wine for a bit more than $5, with typical pricing of half off on many brands. You will still need to do your shopping at WinCo, Safeway, Nugget, etc., to fill in the weekly essentials, but for many of your canned goods and frozen items, Grocery Outlet can offer real savings. They accept both credit and debit cards. This GO is located in a very nice shopping center just north of Blue Oaks Blvd. on Lone Tree. The store was formerly an Office Depot. The owners have extensive experience working in management with Albertson's and have the know how to stock and operate a successful and attractive store. read more

I had been putting of getting groceries for a whiiiiile but I needed to get some supplies for lunches for the upcoming week and grocery outlet was super close to where I was so I decided to stop in. For starters, this grocery outlet is HUGE, I feel like grocery outlets are frequently squeezed into spaces, but this one was expansive, and really big. I loved that because I didn't really know what I wanted to get so I was glad to have some options. This store was also well organized and clean. It made finding products easy, and because it is so big, that was absolutely necessary since the options were so expansive. I found some pre made salads that were perfect for some easy lunches and few snacks to pick up as well. I love grocery outlet for some staples around the house so was excited to have discovered this one. The line wasn't especially long either which was the cherry on top of this experience. read more

Ok, ok I FINALLY get what everyone is talking about. I didn't "get" Grocery Outlet until recently. I didn't understand what all the hype was about. I never found anything that I needed. Until now. As one of my Yelp friends told me "you can't go in looking for anything". It's so true! Everything at Grocery Outlet is something you didn't even know you needed. Or something really close to what you needed and because it was such a great price you get it. Or twelve. I love how their inventory changes weekly (sometimes even daily) so that every time I go there is always a ton of new stuff to look at. I also love how I always feel like I'm always getting a great deal. It's like going to the grocery store and everything is on sale. Wahoo! I especially like this location (and the Roseville Square location) the best because they have aisles and aisles of natural, organic and vegetarian foods! Stuff I never thought I would find at a Grocery Outlet are HERE. I thought all the food that they carried here would be unhealthy and bad for you but I was totally wrong. They have a lot of my favorite health foods brands at a fraction of the price! Amazing. The health food selection isn't as great at their Arden-Arcade and Rancho Cordova locations FYI. Ground grass fed lamb, fresh ceviche, exotic peppers, what!? The Sac stores need to step it up! I was in the area for a meeting and unfortunately for my wallet, I never miss the opportunity to pop into a Grocery Outlet to see what goodies I can find. I only needed grapes (the Grocery Outlet grapes have been amazing this season omg!), but hitting every isle is a GA must! As soon as I walked in the store I was face to face with ground lamb and ceviche. Ceviche? Huh? Are you kidding me?? Not some frozen knock version y'all, it was real deal ceviche, which fortunately is a favorite in my home so I quickly snatched it up. I also made a mental note to lament to my local GA, "What's the deal with ceviche and why don't we see if in Sacramento?" Nice, friendly staff. The Rocklin store is not as big as some of the other locations, but they've got great variety as noted above. Clean store, clean isles, well stocked shelves and oh, they had kombucha for $1.49. $1.49 y'all!! Something else I've never seen in Sac stores. Shopping at Grocery Outlet is an adventure. You just never know what you will find. The inventory changes often so I try to stop by at least once a week. I recently found a 16 pack of Seattle's Best Toasted Hazelnut K-cups for about a quarter of the price available on-line. They also have a great selection of imported and domestic cheeses at prices so low that I don't feel guilty about feeding my stinky cheese addiction. You will sometimes find products that are unique and possibly the last stop for varieties that will no longer be made (perhaps failing trial sales in the mass market). It's interesting to see flavor profiles on the shelf that I've never come across at the big grocery chains (like "Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory" cereal...which I did not buy due to the sugar content). There's also more than just groceries...I've found great deals on gardening tools, vitamins, stocking stuffers at Christmas time and even patio furniture. You will also find a large selection of wines, beers and even some local craft beers. You know they have good prices on those items. However, you get slammed with CHEAP RANDOM FOOD STUFF. Yes, some of it is like a dollar store (cheap toys, clothes? and other odd items) but I'm going to ignore that in my review 'cause I can. You go to the outlet and discover cheap food. And, even better, cheap wine and beer. Oh good lord you'll find $4 six packs of regional beers. $3 bottles of good wine. Hey, if you want to turn up your nose at cheap wine, be my guest. More for me. The staff are chatty and nice. Not annoying chatty but you get the sense they appreciate your stopping by. That's a rare sight at Safeway (or Giant for my east-coast friends and family). Anyway, it might be hard to buy a week's worth of food for a family of four BUT that's not the point of this place. The point is to get an assortment of food for below cheap. Go there, now. This new Grocery Outlet is in Rocklin (not Roseville as some may think). The Grand Opening is 12/1/2012 but they soft opened on 11/10/2012 and the store looks great. They are organized, clean and new. They have great prices on groceries, paper goods, wine and even clothing items and toys. It is a discount store so you won't find every item you need as you do a traditional grocery store but the prices on what you do find cannot be beat. I am so happy to have one near where I live yay! Located in Rocklin Lonetree location, this grocery store is very clean, organized, great customer service and where U can feel safe to shop. There isn't any sales person who bothers you while you shop but only assists you when needed or when they feel you may need some assistance. Always stocked up with all the essentials, they also carry organic products, which is a plus!!! This is a great store to shop when on the go, I always come here before or after my workout at the gym near by. This is the best to go to as well for your quick shop before going on a road trip! Great prices and service Grocery Outlet has some really great prices on everything in the store. Far better than the average market. The selection changes, they don't always have the same items but they have most of what you need. So if I go in with an open mind it is no problem to find great deals and put meals together. The service has been very good the times I have been here. If there is a line they open up more check stands. The best by dates are usually pretty close to the date on some items. Not a problem for a large family I would think, but a bit of a trick for me. I am glad to have this store nearby. read more
