Sad to say that I am not a fan. I have stopped by a few times- the low prices pull me in every time. The pumps are a little slow but I can usually overlook that when the price is right. The last time (as in the most recent and also the last time I will be there) I went was a couple of days ago. I used my debit card, entered my pin and pumped my gas. I asked for a receipt and as usual, the pump told me to see cashier for receipt. I really hate when gas stations do not put new receipt paper in. Definitely a theme at this particular station. I decided to leave without going in. As I was about to drive away, a person knocked on my passenger window. She had her mask half off of her face and it took me a minute to realize she worked there. It was hard to hear her through the glass but I wasn't rolling down my window unless she put her mask on. Assuming this review is around for a while I will note that the mask was important because we are currently required to wear them. She said something about possibly putting someone's cash on my pump and wanted to see my receipt. As I was going back and forth trying to tell her the machine was out of paper, I decided to tell her I would just come in to try and see what was going on. We went into the store and the mask was never really fixed. At least there was some plexiglass between us. She wanted to compare the last four digits of my card to the receipt. I am totally good with double checking as I understand these things happen but the way she went about it was weird. There was nobody around waiting for their cash fill up. Why didn't she just print that receipt and bring it with her to my car? My questions will just have to remain unanswered. Basically, there are plenty of low priced options in our area and I did not particularly like my experience here. I will make other choices when filling up. read more

Indian lady that works there is very rude and unreasonable. I went for a car wash today at about 4:15 and a stupid car in front of me supposed to pull forward after his wash but stop right before the dryer and my car was all foam up and the washer stopped because of the front car stupidity. Then Indian lady kept saying you need to put to park. I kept telling her it was the front car fault. She kept saying you got to put to park. Even the guy that was in the back of me said that it wasn't my fault and she still said I got to put to park. What a stupid lady. I will never go there for car wash again. read more

I've been to this gas station many times before. But I've never had a more rude experience. I arrived Saturday to get gas and had an upset stomach. I enter the bathroom and after four minutes the cashier asks me to hurry up. He threatened to open the door and then proceeded to unlock and open the door while I'm inside with my pants down. After I ask for the manager and still have not received one call to apologize or anything. Never go here, the attendant is rude young kid who has no respect for a humans time where we deserve a bit of privacy. read more

One star review time! I don't do these often. Just look at my history, it honestly doesn't happen often at all! So get your drinks and some snacks ready, because it's happening. I used to love this place. Cheaper gas, great customer service, it was a rarity in the world of gas stations. It really was a hidden gem. Then ownership changed and the floodgates of darkness opened up, and this place transformed. (Somewhat literally, as they remodeled the place) First the outside credit card machine. That sucker never seems to work. People pay with credit/debit cards all the time. So if you want their money, make sure you have that working. The gas pumps here are from the 18th century. They don't have credit card slots, so you have to walk to a machine that's cemented into the ground that never works and starts giving you BS. I don't want to argue with a machine! So, then you're probably going to have to inside and talk with the somewhat younger older guy. Last time I came in some customer was screaming at him for saying that his lady was saying that the owner was saying that it was his lady? Huh? Once the customer walked away, the clerk started talking to himself acting as if he's precious ring was stolen or something. I couldn't understand what he was saying. I said: "I need $42 bucks in gas" Hand him three $20's. He hands me back one. I need $18 bucks back, but he hands me a complete $20. He charged me $40 instead of the $42 and when I tell him I wanted $42 he says it's too late as he already entered $40. Really? What in the hell? Then some rather large gentleman starts shaking the ATM saying it's not working. With that, I took my leave to pump my gas. This place is a joke. Arco AM-PM has overpriced beers, not a large selection. microbrew big bottles not priced. a few generic beers had good pricing. coffee (1.49) cheaper here than at other Arco's usual eats, snacks available. eats: baked cookies, 3/.99 -small, baked on site from frozen dough -ok for a snack, not worthwhile to drive here to buy it. crumbs: -side parking spaces problematic, watch out for passing traffic. read more

This place is a gas station/ store on a busy corner. Gas is pretty cheap here but it hard to drive in and out of here cause there is just to much traffic on this corner. At this ARCO am pm you pay inside, not like other ones where you can pay cash out side in the machine. I really didn't look if you could pay with CC outside because I always try and pay with cash for gas cause it's cost less if you pay with cash. The store area is pretty well stocked with drinks and snacks. I give this place 3 stars its good when I really need gas but other then that it's not worth the hassle of trying to pull in here with all the traffic on this corner. read more

Update: After several more attempts to get in touch with Jasmine regarding our money stolen, I found an 800 # to call Corporate. I reported the entire incident- the same info I'd given to Jasmine. Corporate thanked me, apologized, & sent me a $50 gift card for time & trouble. Thank you so much, Corporate Arco! As I went in to use the $50, Jasmine happened to be standing there, & I told her "Thank you so much for your lack of initiative & inability to bring this matter to a close, Jasmine! I called Arco Corporate & they sent me a $50 gift certificate, of which I will be spending right now & then will never set foot in this establishment again". She looked at me all wide-eyed, I spent the $50, I've never been back. I don't know if Jasmine is even still employed there. When I spoke to Corporate, they logged a complaint on her. So I had been introduced to this AMPM location from a friend at work. The cashiers were wonderful, personable, so nice, and friendly. The store was clean, well organized, and fully stocked. Which kept me coming back. Well, during the last year and a half that I've been frequenting this AMPM, things have seriously gone down hill!! The store is now a wreck. It's filthy, there's ridiculous signs posted everywhere, and the shelves are empty. I guess the explanation is that it's under new ownership... I've seen many cashiers come and go. But today's cashier was the worst. He was rude, snarky, and told me that 'they don't give cash back since the pumps were under construction' but "I guess I'll give it to you this time".... well, yeah, since, it's my money, he'll give it to me. I informed him I'd keep that rule in mind for next time; sad to say there won't be a next time. What a shame! read more

This place is a dump with out of order bathrooms. That, or the signs just say out of order to keep people out of them. Always worried when you go into a place that has food and no public bathrooms. That means the staff have nowhere to wash their hands. read more

This incident happened April 9th at 9:20am. I went in to grab a breakfast sandwich. While I was paying, a homeless man stood next to me at the register and repeatedly asked for money the entire time I was paying. He spoke breathedly and his breath smelled like rotten skunk meat. Killed my appetite and I was almost gagging. It was that bad and he was that in my face! The female employee did NOTHING. I don't know why no one has written a review for this place considering it's been here quite a while now. So I guess I will be the first. This place is located at the Corner of Berryessa Rd & Capitol ave. There are two other gas station on either side of the street. I choose this one because of their price it is competitive with the other gas station is sum what lower at times also when you go in the place it clean and has all kinds of snacks. They guy behind the counter is nice as well. So if your near by and need and snack or just gas up I suggest you go here . Solid 4 stars read more

This is another one of those gas stations. I do come here from time to time, as they have some of the cheapest gas prices around. If you are looking for a good deal, then you need to come and fill up here. The issues you will have the area is somewhat hard to get in and out of, the lanes at the pumps might be tight when you are parking to get gas, and other that are trying to get gas are not the most polite people around when you are trying to fill up as well. The market is good, but why I did not give this gas station a 4 star rating, well if you want to pay cash, you have to walk in. Unlike other Arco's around, you can pay at the pump area, but this one only uses the pump paying system for debit or credit card, not cash. Just be aware of this when you are filling up here. Not the best Arco Am/Pm I've ever been to. While they do have some of the cheapest gas prices around the area, oddly enough, the pump numbers are mixed up (e.g. 1 and 2 are not back to back, etc.). I had cash and needed to walk in to pay. I completely put it on the wrong pump because I had assumed the numbers correlate as usual...whoops! Because of this, i had to move my car and pull up to another pump. Luckily, it wasn't that busy at the time, so I didn't end up giving my gas away. Could've been problematic though. Haha Also, their beef sticks are old. Depressing. haha I haven't been too impressed with this spot since the ownership has changed. Gas is still cheaper here, though, so it's worth coming to than paying higher prices. read more

At this point if I could I would rate this location is zero I don't go there often because anytime I do any time you guys there's always something wrong somethings always broken and their employees are absolute shit I am finally writing a review because I'm at the point that they wasted literally 10 minutes of my time for nothing again so I don't understand how there's always something broken at this damn location when it's been remodeled not too long ago I go in today to tab a coffee, jug of water and gas. Grabbed everything I needed made my coffee went up to the register we did in line they told me up to then tell me that they can't take my debit card ATM people which I would put a pen. I asked why?! Because your proceeds to tell me that they are only able to now except after pay and the chip machine is not working and she doesn't know how to process a transaction anyways. This location is so incompetent they can't process any debit card transactions now?? I told them in English & Spanish because the cashier started saying shit in Spanish to her manager that they should have posted a sign at the door and at the register the moment they realize their system wasn't working so that consumers would not waste their time this location! at this point I don't care if your gas is cheaper than any other location I'm done going here because literally there's an issue every single time I go: I hope they go out of business or get better management. The worker here is very rude. He doesn't ask if I need anything else. When I pay with my debit card he tells me to click yes to everything. What if I don't want to pay the debit fee and I change my mind to pay with cash. He just told me to click yes to everything. He doesn't even say thankyou when I finish paying. I come here every morning for coffee. They always have the hazelnut creme hot and ready. I'm impressed at how clean the coffee station is considering how busy they tend to be. Friendly staff. I appreciate seeing a smiling face at 5:00 am before I've really woken up. read more
