This place is not my normal water place - and thank goodness for that. I only bought a refill card here because it is close to another business that I frequent in the same plaza. At the time, I thought it was odd that they told me that they don't track their cards and if I ever lost mine, it'd be non-refundable/replaceable because they will have no record of it. Weird because my normal place has a record of my card and I can show up without my card and they'll still debit my account on their end. But whatever, at least they disclosed it and I was aware of it so I kept the card in my wallet so that I would never lose it. For the next year+ I never went back to get water from this place - but did pass by it often on the way to the tea shop several doors down. Most of the time I passed by NT Water, the owner and 4-5 of his buddies would be sitting on milk crates in front of his shop playing Chinese Chess . . . and smoking - lots and lots of smoking. This was always annoying as their group blocked off most of the sidewalk and the cigarette smoke was so bad that my kids would have to hold their noses as they tried to quickly walk by. Today, I finally go back to use my refill card for the first time since I originally purchased it - and sure enough, the owner is smoking inside his store . . . which I'm sure is illegal in CA. When I went to pay for the water with my card, the owner (almost proudly) tells me that it's expired. I told him that this was a ridiculous policy - to which he points out the small print on the lower corner of my card that says "Expire after one year". Lovely - they conveniently failed to mention this to me when I purchased it (granted, I should've looked the card over when I got it but it's a freakin' water refill card, there shouldn't be that many rules attached to it). I go on to tell the guy that no other water place has an expiration date on their cards - but he insists that they all do. So I pull out my card from my normal place and ask him to show me where the expiration date is on there b/c there is no expiration date and he says "different place, different rules." So I ended up having to pay twice for water when I thought I'd already paid for it with the card. I thought about dumping out the water and leaving without paying but that would make me just as big a Richard as the owner is. As is, this crappy place will never get another single dollar from me due to their shady business practices, extremely poor customer service and insistence on smoking both inside and outside of their shop. Surely I'm not the first or the last customer they've screwed over with this expiration policy that they don't disclose up front - so please don't support a business that treats their customers this way. To the owner(s): I hope the $20.00 + $8.75 you collected from me was worth this poor review. read more

This place is getting worse on customer service side. They just ignore customer to go in for water as they don't have anyone to help. I guess they make more money selling scratcher and lotto tickets. read more

Do yourself a favor and skip this place. You'll thank me later. I've been refilling my water here for two years, only because it's always empty inside and I want to support small business such as this. One thing I notice is the owner is a bit rude; he would never bother to greet or thank you. All he would do is check off the membership card. Today when refilling my water I didn't realize my membership card which I purchased a year ago was allegedly expired? An expired water membership? How ludicrous is this! Although it's only two weeks passed the one-year mark with 25 gallons left the owner would not let me use it and demanded that I pay him. I told him to take back his water but he didn't so we got into a yelling match over this. Such rude demeanor from a store owner with a failing business. I got so disgusted with his foul sailor-mouth, qua^n cho' -de?, and forked up $4.50 for my water and left. With the membership fee raised every year and absolutely horrible customer service this is absolutely no place for anyone to come to, let alone pay. read more

I've been putting water here for over 5 years now. This place is very clean and the owner is super nice. What I like about this place is they have a lot of faucets to put your water. Don't forget their parking as they have a lot directly in front of the store. Great place for lottery tickets as well. read more

I asked the Owner what are the filtration processes used in the establishment and the Owner was almost offended by that question and managed to just say "no" in response. Great way of dealing with your customers buddy. read more

This place is very clean and has good tasting water. I've been going here 7 years and usually I get my water refilled in 10 minutes. The water taste better than bottled water and I get to save money. I would highly recommend this place. I also buy lottery at this place. read more

I love to get my water at this place. It is very clean and spacious, unlike the other water stores I went to in the past. The owner here told me he changes the water filters every 6 months, compare to other places that changes it probably once every year or 2 years even. They have so many faucets here so I was in and out in about 5 minutes to fill 10 bottles I brought with me. I seen a lot of people here buying lottery tickets...must be a lucky place to win. read more
