I learned CVS sells the Thrifty ice cream. I dropped in to be sure of that while I was in the area and sure enough, they sell 4 different flavors of it. I'll buy it after I'm finished with the gallon of ice cream I already I have. CVS was having a hair event and the sales girl handed me free samples of sunblock while I was looking around. She was friendly and would give me other samples if I'm shopping around for hair products. I was there to see what Loreal sulfate-free products were but they were only for shampoo, conditioner and leave-in. I was looking for sulfate-free hair color. There was good size aisle of hair coloring products from different brands. I didn't have enough time to look at them all. I'll browse online to see what they are and if there's anything worth trying, I'll stop by the store. CVS aisles are clean and it's well lit inside. They have everything you need for health, food, greeting cards and gifts. Their pharmacy is in the back. read more

I have been visiting this pharmacy since day one, when they first opened. I am very pleased with all of the pharmacists and technicians who work at the pharmacy counter. They are always super helpful and professional. They take the time to answer my questions and help resolve any issues with my insurance coverage. PARKING is plenty because it shares a huge parking lot with a shopping plaza of other businesses. There is also a bike rack to lock your bike in case you bike here. INSIDE is your typical CVS with pharmacy in the back. There is a drive-through pharmacy option that I haven't tried, but it is there. They also have self check out stations. I live nearby so I have shopped here and brought my big dog inside and never had a problem. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only. I switched to this pharmacy location for many reasons. Number one ,I feel a lot safer. No homeless hanging around,no urine smell,no one bothering me in the parking lot. The pharmacy has plenty of people working. Since I started coming here,the line has never been more than 3 people. It moves faster than the cvs up the street. They seem to have all of the essentials. But I haven't had to order anything unusual. Much happier now read more

Hate to have to lower my rating but had a really uncomfortable encounter with a guy hanging around the parking lot. He charged at me and blocked me from walking to my car. As I returned to the store, he followed me inside. Not the shopping experience you want at your neighborhood pharmacy. I don't advise coming here after sundown. My dermatologist prescribed my medication at this store and I was in need of my medication. One medication appeared to not be covered by insurance but available. When I called them, they told me that it was not available which wasn't the same on the website. They refuse to transfer me to another pharmacy and the woman on the other side was extremly rude and hung up on me. When I called back they put me on hold for 15 minutes and I eventually hung up. This is the worst customer experience I've experienced in a pharmacy. Further more this is related to my skin health. You do not hung up on me without providing further information. CVS established itself as a monopoly for pharmacies and put every competitor out of business, then has failed to be a pharmacy. This is not a place to get medicine. It's a convenience store. They sell chips and gum. They do not have the competence to be trusted with medications. Communication between locations is non existent. Delays are constant. Everything is out of stock even with notice. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Pharmacy counter is huge - Drugstores Near Me - SAN JOSE, California

It was my first time visiting this location. There were plenty of parking spaces and the whole building was new. As I roamed around the store, I noticed a few items were locked up. I was able to grab a few items but then I realized I needed a shopping cart to put my stuff in. So I walked back up to the front door to grab a cart. As soon as I grabbed a cart, the alarm went off. I walked around the store a little bit more and went to pay at self checkout (no cashier was available at that time). Five stars to the pharmacy here! Kevin and Tran are both awesome. All CVS pharmacies kind of suck, but I had five start experiences both time I've been here. They are friendly, professional, and work efficiently. Kevin went up and beyond for me, a true human being who cares, which is hard to find these days in customer service. I had just left the hospital in a lot of pain and needed my prescriptions. Instead of making me wait, he paused the line forming and prepared the prescriptions for me so I could get them asap. I could see that only other pharmacist working that day was swamped in the back. If you need a pharmacy, this one is the one to go to. read more

Dropped off a reel of film to get developed here and was told that it'll take at least a month or two to develop. Didn't get a call back after two months so I called them. They told me there are no developed photos and that everything has been processed. I gave them the envelope number and they said that they can't do anything with it and instead of trying to track this down for me, they gave me a generic 1-800-Shop-CVS number to call. WTF, CVS? Not cool. Called the number and after waiting for about 10 minutes to get a hold of someone, was told to call back tomorrow during normal EST hours. I made the call at around 3:00 PM PT. Would not recommend photo service here. read more

Came in to buy a gift card for my little cousin and the cashier was very rude. Only reason why I didn't leave a 1-star is because CVS is a good store for all your pharmaceutical needs. Friendly staff, great service I was having issues with recalling my member info I guess the other store I signed up in Las Vegas, NV didn't input the phone or address I've had for years. I believe the young man that helped me out (a little bit of long hair, and glasses) maybe his name is Nick (I'm terrible with recalling names) helped me get sorted. He had already come out to the aisle for some pain meds to assist me. Thereafter I was having a tough time finding my member number. I asked him if it was possible to look me up and he gladly helped. When neither my phone number or address wasn't recalled he offered to make me a new one. We had some technical issues but he kept his cool and got assistance from another coworker who too was glad to help and I was set up shortly after. After setting me up and then instead of sending me over the self check out he offered to check me out at the register. My member discounts applied and I was happily on the way. My daughter and her friend was shopping here. I had my daughter get me some chocolate, and when she came home she was so angry because she was accused of stealing. This lady asked my daughter and her friend to leave. My daughter took everything out of her pocket and showed the lady her wallet and her phone. The girls were judged by what they were wearing and did not have proof that they stole something. I think they need to be careful of accusing people without proof. The worse pharmacy I've been to. I had a surgery yesterday for my appendix removal and needed to pick up my pain med and antibiotics. They closed at 5pm and the told me to come back in the morning. I couldn't switch it to the other cvs since that place is open 24 hr. Came in the Saturday morning at 8:30am and they didn't open til 10am. I came at 10:30 and stood in line, mind you I'm with no pain killers a day after surgery and walking all the way to the back and standing in a long line. I get to the front and they tell me 30 more minutes, it's still processing. I then come back 30 minutes later, waiting 10 more minutes at the pharmacy counter with no acknowledgement. They come ring up one of my meds and said the pain killers will take another 15 minutes and to come back. They had no compassion what so ever. I'd give them zero stars if that was possible. The only people who were thoughtful and had great customer service were the workers on the floor. read more

Zero star if I could. This CVS never picks up pharmacy calls. I waited for 40 minutes on the call and no one picks up. My physician sent a prescription on May 12 and now it is June 1 and still no status when this prescription can be filled. If you go to the pharmacy, you have to wait in line for a very long time since there usually only one pharmacy tech working at the register! And each customer, the tech takes 10-15 minutes to finish the work! read more

I was driving to my friend house and remember that I need a flu shot for my work. So I decided to get into third new establishment. There addre a lot of stuffs on three shelves, Judy like any typical drugstore. Nothing that stood out. After checking out the stores, I noticed employees are adding more items onto those shelves. So I continue my mission for why I came into the store. I cruised into the pharmacy area. There was an elder lady in front of me. When it was my turn, I was greeted by one of the associated. She was very polite and professional. After I told her my purpose of being there. I wax expecting them to give me attitude and hatred time, because it was pretty late. Long story short, within 10 minutes I got my flu shot. Then my child said about the booster. I did requested and I got that also. So now I am armed with shots.
