From a professional standpoint, this is a Phenomenal Ultrasound program! The layout and flow of the program 10/10. Monday-Friday opportunity for open lab with a lab instructor available for extra practice !? There is no better set up for success than that! I have never even heard of such a bonus perk offered by a school like this until AMSC College. The material presented is the most up to date and highly sought after information from both students and sonographers that are already in the field, or preparing for boards or even used for reference on the job. (ex Davies newest edition for Vascular) The staff is extremely well educated and knowledgeable. A lot of time and effort is put forward to guarantee the success of each and every individual. Admin/teachers/professionals : Ms Alisa, Ms Gloria, Mr Haik, Ms Ana, Ms Heddy (just to name a few) are all exceptional professionals. I highly recommend. read more

I'm nearing my last few months at this program and I've had an amazing experience at AMSC and I'm really grateful for the training and support I've received over the almost 2 years I have been here. The instructors and assistants are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. They make learning engaging and take the time to make sure everyone feels confident with both the material and hands on scanning. The amount of hands on practice I have had personally has been especially helpful and has made a big difference in my confidence as I get closer to go to externship. The staff is always supportive, approachable, and encouraging, which makes a huge difference in such a fast pace program. They go above and beyond, and it's clear they care deeply about both the subject and the students they teach. I like the place. I have been to different schools for ultrasound but i didn't really like them. I accidentally fell on this school took an appointment and i went there. So to start i met with the associate director who explained to me how the program worked and basically what i would end up having after I'm done with my two years. Basically i would be getting an AA degree. Then they gave me a tour of the school. And finally they asked me if i wanted to meet with the financial aid. I liked that they didn't really pressure me to meet the financial aid and it was really up to me to see her or call back . I found that they were friendly. I got to admit that the school is small which i am not sure yet if i like or not. Overall first impression was not too bad. read more

I started AMSC in 2017, I passed my physics (SPI) board License almost 3 weeks ago and I am already working in the field. My experience with the school was not bad. I had good teachers who knew what they were talking about, the staff was very nice to us, always smiling and ready to listen to our concerns. One thing I did not like was the number of students was 10 or less people in each class and I like socializing and interacting with people but with limited classmates... It is not an easy field and I had my ups and downs but they helped me push through when I thought a mother of two could not build a career at ,34 years old. They helped me do a resume and I got my job thanks to the Associate Director who referred me to an imaging center in Glendale. read more

This is the school I am actually attending. I will be graduating in one month. So for starters they are really friendly, when I first started the ultrasound program I was really stressed because it is in the medical field and I was really insecure but the staff the teachers and the administration were always present to make sure I did not give up. The teachers are actual doctors, some of them are working in hospitals and clinics and they are on top of the latest changes in the field. I loved the staff they were amazing specially Deziree was really helpful always making sure we were ok and sending us the homework if we missed class. The scanning with Greg was actually really fun i loved every moment of it. Overall opinion small and friendly school. read more

I am very grateful for my experience at AMSC College. The school has become like a second home to me. The staff genuinely care about students and are always willing to help whenever needed. The Financial Aid Department is outstanding. They always take the time to answer questions and guide students in the right direction. Student Services is also excellent. They always provide guidance, and offer support whenever students need assistance. While the school is very strict, I understand and appreciate why. They are preparing us for careers in the medical field, where professionalism, responsibility, and high standards are essential. I've had a great experience with profesor Rene! He always made the material we learned in class easy to learn. Always made the class interesting and would show us different echo videos so we can have an idea of what we could see when we go out into the field! He has always been very supportive and encouraging to whatever we would like to work in. He's very respectful and enthusiastic and makes the classroom feel welcoming. He would make it fun to learn in class and clearly knows his material very well. He is very patient and passionate about teaching his students. read more

this school will constantly change the rules they make and every week they're implementing something new, they implemented a new TA for our zoom meetings but never did they introduce her. she very rude, very unprofessional. shell kick you out if you're not on camera even for a second. all administrators say is we need to let her know when we'll step out but i personally don't feel comfortable at all with her which is why i don't like have my camera on and showing my whole face , we don't even know what she looks like. wouldn't recommend for these reasons read more

I'm a current student, halfway through my AAS program! AMSC was one of my top choices for a DMS program, the admissions process was fairly easy & my questions were answered in a timely manner. Thankful for our experienced & knowledgeable instructors who take extra time out of their day to stay after class/lecture to further help us! Also thankful for Ms. Sarah for vouching for me & allowing me to post an ad for tax prep services I offer to help pay my tuition! This school has been so great to me, I have been here for 10 months and I am studying to become an ultrasound tech. Everyone has been so helpful. I learned a lot here and some staff were great and some were not that great. Mr. Vardan is the nicest man and is so helpful. Gloria is the greatest she was so kind every time we walked in she helped us with a smile. i recommend to whoever wants to become an ultrasound tech should join today! I just finished my ultrasound program. I really loved my class. it was not really a big school which made it better because for 18 months we really were like a family. The teachers know each student and if we have an emergency or personal problem they do understand and help us catch up. However some of the teachers have accents when they talk which might be a bit annoying but besides that i was pretty much happy with the whole thing. read more
