They are in network on my Delta Dental plan, so I gave them a call a few months ago. It was a little challenging actually getting an appointment, I was trying to make a dentist appointment 6 months out, and the person that answered the phones said they don't make their appointment books that far out. I think she may have been new, because when I questioned it, she asked someone and made it happen. I was provided with a call a few days prior to my appointment to confirm, and they offered to answer any questions I had. I arrived on my appointment day for my 9 AM appointment and was warmly greeted by the office staff. The dentist office is located in the sharp turn on 191st Street in Aventura in a larger office building (the one on the right if you're staring at the two buildings). They're on the 8th floor of the building, and have plenty of free parking all around the office building. I came in for a cleaning and initial doctor visit. They reviewed my x-rays and conducted an initial check with Dr. Montero. He saw two small fillings that had fallen out and he filled them on the spot while I was there in about 10 minutes preventing me from have to make another appointment. I was greatly appreciative of this! Dr. Montero and the other assistants were extremely friendly and professional throughout the whole visit. I went back to the waiting room for about 5 minutes after my fillings were complete and had to wait on a hygenist as they had shuffled their books around to complete the fillings while I was there same day. The hygienist that I had was so friendly and thorough and my teeth looked beautiful afterwards. Looking forward to my next visit!

I mostly worked with doctor Larry Grillo and Manny. Manny is an excellent listener and communicator. with every interaction I truly feel, he's had my best interests in mind. For example, I wanted to get as much work as possible done in each visit. so as not to have to return often. Yet Manny made sure i wasn't doing too much work in any single visit as i had debilitating TMJ last year and to much work could retrigger that TMJ. I am the type of patient who can be very functional in real life but becomes a 2-3 year old emotionally in the dentist chair. It's pretty nerve wracking, and I took almost a year off from repairing my mouth because my C-PTSD emotional responses were unpredictable and traumatizing. Paired with my difficult dental issues, it took a lot for me to go into a new dental office. However, I was referred by a very good friend who really felt like I would be treated well and would be able to feel comfortable and relax enough to get said treatment. She was right! I'm very impressed with Dr Grillo's expertise and efficiency during treatment evidenced by pain free appointments and miraculous results. I really was happy and in an excellent mood throughout both of my appointments. The assistant even told me I was an excellent patient which in its own way is hysterical.
