Although he does have high end equipment (microscope, laser,) and appears to be very competent and experienced, pricing of $2250 for the procedure was outrageous! By contrast another endodontist I saw a few weeks later spent over an hour with me, took X-rays and a CT scan, explained to me exactly why he was recommending what he was, told me of the prognosis, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and I left with a full understanding of my options . . . I was so impressed with this group - I left feeling great. At no point was I in any discomfort... not even a little. The office reception folks were helpful and nice, Dr. Oppenheimer was friendly and informative throughout the process, I never felt like they were too busy to answer my questions, and I waited less than 5 min. on both visits. For a distraction during the procedure, they even gave me earphones and a headset with a selection of movies/videos. I'd definitely recommend doing that - the drilling sound would have been distressing - I was very nervous about having this done lol.
