From the phone calls to…read morethe first consult, each staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, friendly, courteous and kind. I mostly worked with doctor Larry Grillo and Manny. Manny is an excellent listener and communicator. with every interaction I truly feel, he's had my best interests in mind. For example, I wanted to get as much work as possible done in each visit. so as not to have to return often. Yet Manny made sure i wasn't doing too much work in any single visit as i had debilitating TMJ last year and to much work could retrigger that TMJ. I am the type of patient who can be very functional in real life but becomes a 2-3 year old emotionally in the dentist chair. It's pretty nerve wracking, and I took almost a year off from repairing my mouth because my C-PTSD emotional responses were unpredictable and traumatizing. Paired with my difficult dental issues, it took a lot for me to go into a new dental office. However, I was referred by a very good friend who really felt like I would be treated well and would be able to feel comfortable and relax enough to get said treatment. She was right! I'm very impressed with Dr Grillo's expertise and efficiency during treatment evidenced by pain free appointments and miraculous results. I really was happy and in an excellent mood throughout both of my appointments. The assistant even told me I was an excellent patient which in its own way is hysterical. I owe this practice a lot already as my mouth needed help but I was genuinely too terrified to go get it. From the bottom of my heart, and from the fullest smile I have thank you!!!!!

Dr Sajoo offered two options to fix my front tooth bite: inliners for $5000 or 14 crowns for…read more$28000. I suggested he rebuild my existing fillings to lift my bite. He stated that rebuilding my old fillings was not possible. He convinced me to choose the crown option and I paid his requested deposit of $5000. On February 25, 2025 his assistant made X-Rays and during that procedure she injured my gums, opening a wound that exposed my jawbone. Because of that the work on the crowns had to be postponed. Dr Sajoo said that it is herpes, which he also had, he put some medication and expected in few days to be gone. Unfortunately that did not happen so I consulted an oral surgeon Dr Kurt Friedman. The oral surgeon diagnosed the wound as a osteonecrosis. He prescribed medication and bloodwork. The wound was finally closed and the osteonecrosis was healed 7 months later at the end of September. By that time I had to cancel the crown work because of other health issues. Dr. Sajoo didn't return the deposit of $5000 as he claimed to have spent the entire amount on preparatory work. He offered 3 filling replacements and a night guard as compensation for the oral surgeon expenses of $1000 I incurred In January 2026 I went to Dr Palenzuela. In 3 visits she replaced 15 of the old fillings thereby perfectly resolving my front tooth wear problem. All together I payed her $ 3250, considerably less than the $ 28000 Dr. Sajoo recommended. Dr. Palenzuela is a very good dentist who chooses the most cost effective treatment for her patients. I regret choosing dr Sajoo previously

This is not a "HIPPA request;" all businesses must comply with OSHA regulations, and healthcare providers are yearly required to receive vaccinations so that they do not pass along illnesses (the flu, hepatitus, etc.) to their patients. Broward Family Dental Care's *refusal* to answer this question means that they may now be falling outside of OSHA requirements, which means that if they accept *any* money from Medicaid/Medicare, Medicaid/Medicare can *refuse* to pay claims, and the office can be fined and even closed if they are not OSHA compliant. If someone won't answer if they *are* OSHA compliant, it would seem to me they are saying they are *not*. Caveat Emptor

It is situated in a strip mall with ample parking spaces available less than 100 feet from the entrance.The office decor and ambiance were comfortable without pretense. Overall my initial impression was positive. A front-office assistant greeted me within 10-20 seconds after entering, and the waiting room's three chairs were empty. This tells me that the office's standarf operating procedure may be to diminish waiting time and support distancing recommendations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The office's internal foot-traffic control became more evident when I saw two or three patients return to the waiting room--one at a time--through a door, separating the waiting roon from a hallway to treatment rooms. Details such as these support my opinion that the office's management has created safety and a welcoming spirit by assuring that a new patient as I could complete all preliminary consents, medical history, and the like alone and uninterrupted until I was soon called, on time, to take a seat in my assigned treatment room. A staff member led the way to the treatment room rather than expecting me to go the distance in search of a numbered treatment room assigned to me. Yes, elsewhere and on multiple occasions, I have been subjected to scouting out a room, with a stranger 5-10 feet behind me barking out the room number--even correcting me when I failed to hit the mark on my first try. Not true of Luxe Dental, let's call the hunting and barking an unfriendly characteristic of many metro-area dental and medical practices. I cannot praise enough the choreographed staging my uneventful introduction provided me. It also instilled confidence long before I was introduced to the staff hygienist who took Xrays and an implant specialist who conducted a comprehensive dental and gingival exam. Prior to the first consultation appointment, my dental insurance information had been collected and confirmed. I also received a confirmatory call from an administrative assistant, updating me to my available benefits and reminding me to arrive ten minutes before the appointed time to complete admission paperwork. I might add a personal touch afforded me while I waited. I felt comfortable asking for water, which came in a disposable cup. More times than not, I don't ask any favors from the start--maybe I'm too shy but I assure you that the hospitality of this office was palpable in the welcome I received. It warmed my shy reticense. The office visit would have included a discussion of a plan of care, but my personal schedule did not allow it the same day. Instead, the office manager provided an appointment that easily fit my busy schedule during the same week to cover the care plan and projected procedural costs. My hope is to update this review as I experience more reasons why I recommend Luxe Dental highly without reservations.
