    Dr pepper drink
    Sarah M.

We seated ourselves outside by the heater. We ordered a stein (30oz) of dinosour beer which tasted great and poutine with pulled pork. The crunchy fries with the savory pork was nice especially with some hits of the hot sauce. I wished it had more cheese curds though. On a whim we got the Dr pepper which is a shot of amaretto with lager and Pepsi. I liked the service, atmosphere (red lights and outdoor heaters) and the few menu items we tried were decent!

    Nachos, loaded and delicious.

Over 40 and lame like me? Or carting around energetic youths? Then this place may not be for you. Two reasons: loud (avg 86dB, max 97dB) and cleavage (boobs). It's not a huge place, and the food was actually pretty decent. The nachos in particular really hit the spot after a full set of runs all morning & afternoon. But where the three of us might have wanted to chat for a while ... that really wasn't an option given the volume of the (good) music. I suppose the Dam Hotties should have tipped me off but looking around I quickly discovered cleavage everywhere. Not just in the artwork but clearly guests had left behind some lingering impressions in the form of polaroids tacked up around the place. If you're game for this ambiance then this may well be a four star joint for you. Sadly, I was hoping to chat a bit and literally couldn't hear, hence one fewer star. After finishing a round or two and the nachos we found a different après place.

I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my food. I got a burger and got the area, it was actually fairly inexpensive. I split it but probably could have finished one by myself. It definitely has a hole in the wall vibe but it was definitely worth it. My drink was half off for happy hour.

Solid spot with great music and vibes! I didn't go inside but outside has heated lamps and great elevated view for people watching. Service was great. They had some good deals on espresso martinis which we loved. Food is kind of what you would expect from, bar food and burgers. Nothing to write home about but we came for apres ski drinks and vibes, not as much for the food.

When the patio isn't even half full but everything in the vicinity is packed, let that be your clue. I didn't. It was a hot day and I just wanted a cold one. The grapefruit ale was nice. I decided to order fish and chips as well. You can't go wrong with that at a pub. Oh yes you can. It was nearly burnt and was served with a weird arugula and olive salad. The server was sweet, but totally oblivious. I requested ketchup and waited over 5 minutes. The place was NOT busy. Don't come here if you can avoid it. There is so much better out there.

Overall: The pricing was on the cheaper side compared to all the other places around. With that being said, you get what you pay for. Atmosphere: This restaurant is located pretty central to everything which was super nice. We came for New Years and was able to sit outside. It was such a nice vibe because they had heating lamps outside so we were able to sit, not be cold, and watch the snow falling and people walking. It was an amazing vibe. Best part of the experience. Food: We got the full rack of ribs. Was not impressed. The ribs didn't taste fresh. It's almost like they were cooked a couple days before and just headed up prior to serving. There wasn't a lot of sauce on there. Overall, did not like them at all. Would not recommend. Service: The server was amazing. Super friendly and extremely nice!

Good place to go if you are looking to just drink and not care so much about the quality and selection of beers and such. We stopped in late one Sunday evening around 11:00 pm to quaff a pint of Ale. We sat outside as it was way to hot inside to bother. I chose one that I was expecting to be an American Pale Ale - but turns out it was an English Pale Ale - which has quite a different flavor profile vs. an APA - more malty and less hops. I prefer the APA but drank the Ale anyway. The place is really loud - so expect to yell a lot during your conversations. The bartender appeared to be in control of the volume and she was cranking it. Our table was dirty and sticky - so we did not stick around for another round. We got a taste of the "show" that other reviewer had alluded to... I'll leave it at that...

I feel it's my duty to plead with you to avoid eating here. Have a drink and enjoy the patio views by all means. However, spending your hard earned money on a meal here is a massive waste. We spent 60 bucks on 2 mediocre burgers with stale buns and soggy fries. On top of that service was so lacklustre. I get it - you're in a tourist district and you can expect to pay more - however this food was pretty terrible and our server never asked how things were going. Plus I was given the wrong side. No apologies although this was rectified - all in all dining here was the downside of our stay in Whistler. Mistake has been made- Please learn from ours and don't waste your money here. It'll be the best decision you've made your entire trip. For the the record I'm not one to write a bad review unless I really feel justified.

We started coming here three years ago and sadly only get to visit once a year during Cornucopia while we're staying. The staff has always been so dang friendly. We love sitting at the bar top and having the best conversations with them. I've never tried the food, so I can't comment on that -- my review is based on everything else. If you've never been, it's a MUST try!

The food menu is interesting and eclectic enough to have something to please everyone (including a few vegan and GF options), but not overwhelming with too many choices. It's connected to a hotel but you wouldn't guess that it's a hotel restaurant. Earthy and classy atmosphere. One detail that could have improved the atmosphere would have been to change the music - it seemed like they were playing one or two long dance tracks through the entire time we were there. Not a big detractor from the experience though. The service was good - the staff were pleasant and wait times were reasonable. I'm not a gin enthusiast so I did not get anything with gin, but I was pretty impressed with both the strawberry g&t and the g&t flight that my parents ordered. The strawberry g&t was served as a large glass with ice and strawberries, and the gin and tonic on the side, so the gin could be tasted on its own and the drink mixed to taste. The gin and tonic flight was also presented with each of the components separate. The instructions for drinking were to first taste the gin on its own, then add ice to see how adding ice changes the flavour, and finally mix with tonic. My beverage of choice was the "big easy" stout, a nitro Irish-style stout, which I really liked. Nice to try a drier stout with the nitro. I had the Korean cauliflower bowl for my entree. The bowl was delicious - the Korean fried cauliflower were nice and crispy and flavourful, and the coconut cauliflower rice also deserves a special mention. My parents got roasted red pepper linguine and the arctic char, which I also tasted. We shared a carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert. The spiced whipped cream that comes with both cakes and the red wine cranberries on the chocolate cake really elevated the taste. The three of us were in agreement that all the food was great. We were very happy with our choice to eat here.

Which it wasn't inside at all where our table was. Very loud and rowdy and the dj played the same parts of songs over the three hour time span we were there. Our server was half attentive, but she kept wandering off when we wanted to order more drinks-which just kind of made it difficult. We couldn't find our server for the rest of the night so we ordered from other random servers. We ordered a few buckets of beer and two poutine's. Which ended up being $48 for two small bowls that's essentially just really soggy fries- But to each their own. It's not the restaurants fault, it's what we ordered. We did order the regular truffle fries and they were much better! We also did a round of green tea and tequila shots, all shots were $12. Pretty cool for a first time experience but probably wouldn't come back, as it's overly crowded, champagnes flying everywhere and the bottle service sparklers were so strong it smelled a little like chemicals -but fun while we were here.

There were many tvs and a big screen projector showing the hockey game. Then I noticed Canucks jerseys hanging from the rafter and on the walls. Ok, so sports was big here. It was not rowdy though. We sat away from the main dining hall and got a corner table near the entrance. Service was ok, took a while for the requested extra napkins to come. Our server forgot about it. Guessed it was busier in the main hall which was on a spilt level up. Food wise, it was decent food in a neighborhood pub. Not a huge selection but it had the typical food here so everyone should be able to get something they like. The calamari was surprisingly good. Tender lightly battered squid, not rubbery at all. The whiskey bbq ribs with fries and slaw were good too. The wild BC salmon burger with clam chowder was so-so. I wished the salmon was a bit less over cooked. Salmon was lightly charred outside and unfortunately the inside was a bit hard. At least not too dry. I would prefer the salmon to just have a light crisp with the inside being 70-80% cooked. The miso glaze was nice though. The clam chowder as the side was bad as it did not taste like it at all. It was more of a cream of vegetables soup with some bits of clams in it. That was a disappointment. Fries or salad for the side in future. I also had the Moscow mule. It had real ginger bits in it. I didn't care for that as you kept getting them in every sip and they were real gingery spicy. Not a place I would make a special trip for, but a decent place for a meal when passing by.
