Always a treat to come by our local haunt here in Creekside. Fun, laid back and super friendly. Great staff

Roland's Pub is located in Creekside nearby the Nita Lake Lodge. The adjoining French restaurant, Red Door Bistro is popular and well loved by visitors whereas Roland's seems more the choice for locals. They offer a variety of drinks and beers and the pub food that is associated with it. French Onion Soup - actually decent with lots of cheese and served piping hot. Chicken Wings - served with blue cheese dip and heavily battered, these wings weren't quite as tasty and hot as I was hoping. Philly Cheese Steak - large portion size. Went well with the drinks. Overall, Roland's Pub was a solid stop with a convenient location for those in Creekside and both drinks and food with a casual atmosphere to match. Service was friendly and casual. Roland's Pub accepts credit cards, including American Express.

Perfectly fried chicken wings in Frank's Red Hot.

Best kept secret in Whistler, as far as I am concerned. The special is always amazing and fairly priced. And everyone there is really nice.

The ambiance is great! A sports bar with fans! The food, typical pub food, nothing big.

(Kari's Rating 5.5/10)…read more Came here with a group of 8 for an aprés ski and they charged half of us coming in a $10 cover just "because it started getting busy." Which it wasn't inside at all where our table was. Very loud and rowdy and the dj played the same parts of songs over the three hour time span we were there. Our server was half attentive, but she kept wandering off when we wanted to order more drinks-which just kind of made it difficult. We couldn't find our server for the rest of the night so we ordered from other random servers. We ordered a few buckets of beer and two poutine's. Which ended up being $48 for two small bowls that's essentially just really soggy fries- But to each their own. It's not the restaurants fault, it's what we ordered. We did order the regular truffle fries and they were much better! We also did a round of green tea and tequila shots, all shots were $12. Pretty cool for a first time experience but probably wouldn't come back, as it's overly crowded, champagnes flying everywhere and the bottle service sparklers were so strong it smelled a little like chemicals -but fun while we were here.

There were many tvs and a big screen projector showing the hockey game. Then I noticed Canucks jerseys hanging from the rafter and on the walls. Ok, so sports was big here. It was not rowdy though. We sat away from the main dining hall and got a corner table near the entrance. Service was ok, took a while for the requested extra napkins to come. Our server forgot about it. Guessed it was busier in the main hall which was on a spilt level up. Food wise, it was decent food in a neighborhood pub. Not a huge selection but it had the typical food here so everyone should be able to get something they like. The calamari was surprisingly good. Tender lightly battered squid, not rubbery at all. The whiskey bbq ribs with fries and slaw were good too. The wild BC salmon burger with clam chowder was so-so. I wished the salmon was a bit less over cooked. Salmon was lightly charred outside and unfortunately the inside was a bit hard. At least not too dry. I would prefer the salmon to just have a light crisp with the inside being 70-80% cooked. The miso glaze was nice though. The clam chowder as the side was bad as it did not taste like it at all. It was more of a cream of vegetables soup with some bits of clams in it. That was a disappointment. Fries or salad for the side in future. I also had the Moscow mule. It had real ginger bits in it. I didn't care for that as you kept getting them in every sip and they were real gingery spicy. Not a place I would make a special trip for, but a decent place for a meal when passing by. They open till 12 midnight or 1 am. Nice sized parking lot in front and back of the building.
