Salad Beef Kabob and Curry Fries Small
Linda N.

Situated in the food court of Westroads mall, this place serves salads, kabobs, and falafels just as good as the original store! My go to is the kabob salad with curry fries. The meat is so flavorful and with the garlic chili and herb sauce you have the perfect blend of spices. The curry fries are also perfectly crispy with a mix of ketchup and mayo. I've been here numerous times and it serves consistent deliciousness every time. Service was fast and there was plenty of seating room in the dining hall on a Saturday afternoon. Would highly recommend a stop here or the original location in Dundee.

It's good but definitely not the same quality as the original (non Flagship) location in Dundee. Also holy cabbage. We accidentally ordered this location off of GrubHub. It was a very smooth pick up. That's a plus if you use food delivery apps. I got spicy falafel for the first time. It was definitely spicy . I think next time I'll stick to the original and get the spicy sauce.

We had this one on our list to try. I had the Super Fry's and she had feta fries and a falafel sandwich (create your own) I must say, we were both very impressed. Tasty food, good price and very large portions. If the brick and mortar store is as good as the one in the mall... we will definitely be looking forward to going there. Next time you're in the Flagship Commons at West Roads Mall.. give these guys a try!

Always a fan of this place and had it for lunch today and as usual, it did not disappoint. Huge sandwich with tons of flavor and the curry fries on the side also are great especially when dipping in the mayonnaise they give you. Today's service was pretty quick also.

Going to Amsterdam is always a good experience for me. The service is quick and the food has yet to disappoint me. I usually get the falafel plate with hummus and curry fries on the side. Sometimes the curry seasoning is scant, but when I had it recently it was the perfect amount. The garlic and yogurt dressings combined make for a really fresh sauce over the falafel, and the hummus is fresh and tasty. In terms of location, I prefer the one in Dundee only because this one is in a mall food court so it's usually loud and busy, making for an interesting dining experience. I can't complain though!

I had a great salad at Amsterdam Falafel at the Westroads Flagship Commons recently. They make it so simple to order with the three step process. First choose your style-- sandwich, salad, or plate with hummus. Then choose a falafel or doner kabob(beef and lamb) Then choose a sauce or two: garlic, herb or spicy. Once you've done that you can add extras like fries and hummus. I had a delicious salad with greens, veggies, falafel and garlic tahini sauce. The sauce is what made the salad. There was enough for lunch the next day. I love when that happens! Next time I'm going to try the hummus too.

Always love their curry fries - sometimes the mood just hits for them - Great curry flavor. Would love to see them come up with different fry dipping saices but no complaints on the ketchup and mayo

I usually visit the Dundee location but it was too cold to sit outside so tried this location at Westroads mall. The food court at this location has some really good food options. Amsterdam falafel has a lot unique menu. All very tasty. I like the falafel sandwich with garlic and spicy red sauce.

Seriously scrumptious tasty morsels at the Amsterdam Falafel. I do admit this location is much more convenient than the original in Dundee. I truly enjoy everything here and really appreciate they have plenty of gluten free choices for my wife. We cannot get enough of this place. Keep up the good work!

Very good food, noisy as a mall food court, of course. I didn't get the spicy falafel as we were sharing bites, but very tasty, as was her lamb kabobs. Curry fries are worth the price!

I don't remember how many times I've had European Street food, but I remember this visit! You can customize your plates with whatever rote is and the same with their sauces as well! I love the all the protein options and I love the Spicy and Garlic sauces! For sides, loved the Hummas and Pita bread. My friends like the curly fries, but I wasn't feeling them!

However, I came seeking something that was both fresh and local as well as ethnically and culturally distinctive, and it was a winner. The menu is marked for vegan and gluten-free concerns. Falafel is available as a platter, a wrap, or a salad. I opted for a salad. I appreciated the toppings, but I also appreciated the ability to customize. I opted to stick with everything (since they don't do cucumbers like a lot of places) and found the chickpea and carrot salad and red cabbage to contribute a significant texture and flavor variety. There were only two falafel balls, albeit large ones, but the overall result made for a nice light meal. I made it a bit heavier of course by ordering fries, which were made freshly and tossed in curry-flavored spice that delivered a mouthwatering aroma that elevated the fries themselves. A little slotted stick was given as a utensil to pick up the fries, which I started by using and then stopped when the fries cooled down. Overall, I could not ask for much more in a falafel place. The drink selection didn't wow me, so I just got a water.

We started with the appetizer sampler and it was amazing! It has everything you want and things you didn't know you needed! The hummus and tabbouleh are wonderful but the stars of the plate are the pita and the beet salad for me. The beets are in a creamy dressing and just so craveable. The hummus is nice and smooth, the tabbouleh has so much herb and is so fresh. I only wished for a bit more lemon. The baba ganoush was really good but was a bit over smoky so a little bit at a time was good. The cucumber dip was amazing as well. We then proceeded to the main event - salads, fries, and falafel. Caesar (entree size only) and side dinner salad with a sherry vinaigrette were nice but nothing special. Then the French fries and falafels... fresh and hot!!! Crispy! Fluffy!! And when we broke into the falafels, we were so excited to see GREEN!!! They had HERBS inside!! And the tahini sauce on the side was so delicious. I want that for my salad dressing AND dipping sauce for the fries (although the cucumber dip is amazing on them too!) so much food for two girls so many boxes were needed. It was closing time therefore dessert was togo- baklava. Large triangle. Very delicious. We sat at the bar and I believe we were served by the Lady of the House (Owner). She was incredibly welcoming and we had a joyful conversation about kids and good foods. Oh... did I mention they offer Armenian wine? Yup. Red was my choice and although it was a little sweet, it went well with all the flavors of our meal. Maybe next time I'll try the white....

I was surprised at how good the flavor of the dressing was on the salad, and although it was a pretty simple salad, it was definitely a large and filling enough meal for me with the amount of beef that came on top. I also got the extra grilled vegetables, and these were delicious! Kind of a surprise to see it. It was just one large piece of each vegetable, but it was still plenty of food, and worth the charge for me. The environment is pretty simple in plain, definitely feels like a hole in the wall spot. The restroom is past the kitchen, so you get a good view into the front of house and back of house stations. Overall, this was a great meal, although just a little too pricey in my opinion. My total is $28 for this meal (no drink), which included the tip (they write it in for you.)

Main meal was just ok, food is terribly overpriced considering that you mainly get rice, it also took forever to get our food and the place was only half full of customers. And then the final blow, they automatically added a 19% tip onto our bill. Uh, NO, that's NOT how we do business. Won't be back.
