    Greek Salad

Had Feta's today for lunch. Had a lovely Greek salad with gyro meat. They have such good Greek dressing. Could have used a little bit more lettuce and my tomatoes were not good. They need to tell their distributor no when they deliver those. Otherwise perfect meal. Staff is always friendly as well.

Pickup - drive thru. Service was very nice & friendly Made to order which was a nice surprise So it was all hot and fresh Full amount of everything- could have had a little more seasoning- but otherwise it was all delicious.

Food - 5/5 - the spicy gyro sandwich was great and pretty filling. You definitely get your money's worth at Fetas Ambiance - 3/5 - I'm almost convinced the ambiance was much different 20 some years ago, but maybe I'm thinking of another place. Regardless, setting is less to be desired with metal chairs and the feeling of some cafeteria

Long story short, I'll be trying to go here once a week. A clean, spacious dining area invites the guest, and a comprehensive menu of Mediterranean staples sits over an entirely open kitchen. I got falafel and hummus, each a fine example of its make. The Baklava was not fresh so late in the day, but the quality was unmatched. Rich with cloves, I found myself unable to stop eating despite the intense flavor! I cannot wait to come back.

I love a good gyro and Feta's does a tasty one. I want to say feta cheese was literally "extra", but still enjoy the fare. What I don't love is the venue. I'm stuck in the restaurant that filled the space before, Katie's. Katie's had carpet, great decor, a warm feel and love for the regular customers like me, who frequented the Monday special. Feta's is more cafeteria style, fast foody appeal. I have been a couple of times, but don't feel anymore comfortable there than the first time. All that said, I will still go back.

When I was in my early 20s I lived near this place and my tastebuds weren't mature enough to appreciate it so I never checked them out . I'm glad I've grown up because I would've missed out on this gem I personally can't go wrong ordering the largely portioned gyro meat Greek salads and since it's nice and light I order a side of Greek potatoes to compliment the mix . I'm not a big tzatziki sauce fan in general but their spicy version of the tzatziki is actually really good when I choose to get a Gyro . Friendly fast staff makes using the drive thru option convenient for me , me & my family will definitely be back .

Tasty and fast Greek food in Omaha! My friends and I came here for lunch on a weekday because someone was in the mood for gyros. The inside is pretty spacious and the kitchen can be viewed from the seating area. What was also neat was that they had a drive through, didn't expect that. We got there about 30 minutes after it opened but we might have been the first people there, wasn't busy at all. I ordered the gyro combo and replaced the fries with a salad for 50 cents more. All of our food came out very quickly which we appreciated. I'm not a gyro expert but I though it was pretty good. Felt like too much food to eat at once and I was barely able to finish it. Very happy with what I got though. The employees weren't very enthusiastic but not disinterested enough to bother any of us. Overall, a nice place to go for a quick tasty lunch. Going to have to try the drive through at some point!

Bomb gyro. There was so much meat on it I actually just took some of it off to save for later. Feta's is a fast lunch and especially if you drive thru. I got the greek potatoes though which were literally a potato cut in half with greek seasoning on it (lol- reference the picture). I thought they'd be cut up. Still good nonetheless.

Greek Islands, I consider the gold-standard for Greek food in Omaha and I'll explain why. First of all, the ambiance of inside of the restaurant is one of the reasons it sets it apart from other Greek restaurants, where more and more restaurants put less effort or really no effort in the decor. You actually feel like you are somewhere in Greece with the high temps for Omaha summers but no Sea. It's also a great restaurant to cater to a larger dinner party. Secondly, I have never had to wait very long at all to get my food. The Service is always friendly and fast! I sometime forget to not fill myself up on the complementary bread...but it happens...and I'm pretty sure it's Rotella's bread! I love a restaurant where the servers are attentive to refilling drinks like soda and especially water. Lastly, I am a creature of habit, and I usually choose a Gyro platter...this platter is so massive it's more than two servings, which is great for leftovers. And when your servers ask, "Are you interested in desert?", you don't say, "No", you say "Yes, the baklava please!". The prices are very reasonable for a nice dinner out. I will also add that it is very noticeable that their take-out is very strong here, on multiple occasions I've seen so many people come in the restaurant just for take-out. If you want what I consider to be the best Gyro's in Omaha, check out Greek Islands.

The gyro was flavorful and cooked perfectly, while the Greek potatoes were seasoned just right. For dessert, I enjoyed the baklava with an ouzo, which was the perfect way to finish the meal. The atmosphere was great and inviting, the music fit the restaurant perfectly, and everything was clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. If you're looking for authentic Greek food in Omaha, I highly recommend "Greek Islands" restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back again! Also, if you can, you can check them out at the 2026 omaha's original Greek festival coming on August 20th, 21st and 22nd. Come say hi!

Even after serving in the military and eventually settling in Colorado, one thing hasn't changed--every time I visit family in Nebraska (usually every 4-6 months), I make it a point to stop at John's. The food has been consistently outstanding for over four decades. In fact, when family comes to visit me in Colorado, they know to bring me food from John's because I miss it that much. The quality, flavor, and friendly service have never disappointed. John himself had posted that he couldn't sit still and was opening up shop, so of course, we had to show our support--because supporting local is what we do! Rolling in close to closing time, we somehow managed to bring a whole entourage of six people behind us (sorry, John!). Despite winding down for the night, he didn't hesitate to fire up the grill and serve us up some amazing gyros. Wednesday's deal--buy one, get one for $6--was too good to pass up, so we went for the combo meat with grilled onions, tomatoes, and sauce. I usually add cucumbers, but I forgot... totally my fault. Now, the real highlight? John's is officially a COKE ZERO establishment!! As a longtime Pepsi place, this was a game-changer for me. Seeing that glorious Coke Zero on the fountain made my night. John's Grecian is an experience all in itself. Imagine walking into a deserted old mall, where John's is the lone food establishment standing tall. But when you step into the mall and begin walking, you can start to smell the delicious Greek aromas wafting through the air--follow your nose, and you'll be led straight to John's. It's a bit of a hidden gem in a forgotten spot, and honestly, it adds to the charm. My husband treated me, so I have no idea what the final bill was, but for the quality and quantity, it's always worth it. As long as John keeps slinging that delicious Greek food in that quiet mall, I'll keep coming back. OPA!
