It's normally hot when I go to a laundromat but this place keeps it cool inside. There are plenty of machines and it isn't too crowded Saturday morning. The $3.25 machine looks to be big enough for my king sized blankets but i went with the larger $4.00 machine for my own peace of mind. The dryers are 25cents for 7 minutes. I used 75cents (21minutes) to dry my blanket. I really like this place.

James saves the day!…read more On a Sunday (of course), our water heater decided to spring a leak. A BAD leak, as water was gushing out of the safety drain pipe onto our driveway. We shut off the water and realized that we needed help. Quick. Especially since even after shutting off the water and releasing the pressure on a dedicated hot water line in a sink, the water still kept coming. Called James, left a message with his answering service. He called me back in about 20 minutes! Unfortunately, though, he didn't have a water heater on hand on this particular Sunday, but he promised to be at our house by 8 AM on Monday morning. At 7:50 AM on Monday, James is here. Thank goodness! Not a quick job, since he had to replace not only the water heater, but a seal on the shut-off valve was defective and a seal on the hot water line wasn't working, either. He took care of everything - and I mean everything - expertly and efficiently. Hot water back up and running! Now, here's the unbelievable part: James had quoted us a cost for replacement of this water heater back in October of last year. He told us that the quote was good for 90 days. Obviously the 90 days was long gone, but James honored that quote and charged us the exact amount that he said he would back in October - not a nickel more. Wow! Highly recommend this local business. James does superb work, and communication is excellent. And he's very reasonable on cost, too!

So, when a tree fell during the hurricane and ruined my existing grill, I was at quite a loss. I do have a gas range inside, but without power, my gas oven will not work. Plus, I like to use my grill for an oven, too. The week after Beryl moved through here, I went to Cunningham to get a replacement grill. Because they keep such great records, they knew exactly which grill I had installed just 2 years ago, and I'm so thankful they had a new one in stock. And, believe it or not, they came out and installed it that afternoon! Now I could really cook! And cook I do on that grill, which is a big made-in-the-USA model.
