The reclining seating opens to a full side bed that was very comfortable. The upper bed we open and use it as storage for our 4 luggages. There was ample and very spacious head room below to sit. I thought the private cabin had USB ports, it didn't. Overall, it was roomy. As for the bathroom suite, it has a toilet, sink and shower hose. To me, it's actually an Asian style bathroom with no shower stall, just floor drain, bathing in the same location as toilet and sink. Make sure your toilet paper is not anywhere near the shower spray, or it will be drenched. We had room service with complimentary lunch and dinner meals on train. Angus burger for lunch and sirloin steak for dinner. It tasted very good, especially the desserts. Service was good but the delay is why I took off 2 stars. Suppose to arrive at 1:41am, got there a little after 5:30am

They have a three story parking deck (free!) and a ground level overflow lot. Both are accessible from South Boulevard. The platform is elevated, so you might want to consider taking the elevator or feel free to climb the stairs if you feel fit. There is a ticket vending machine on the platform, but you may want to use one of the two that are in the garage if there is a line. Not a whole lot of cover on the platform, so if it's wet or windy or cold, I'd suggest waiting in the garage until the train gets ready to leave.

There is plenty of free parking at the station, both in lots and in a garage. It's about a 30 minute ride to uptown. It's way easier and cheaper than trying to drive and park in the city. My family and I are having the worst experience on amtrak. The experience coming to Florida was…read morebad. But trying to get back home is a struggle. The train was due to come at 7:25pm. Then it said 7:38pm . Next was 7:51pm. We didn't leave at that time. We were stuck on the tracks in Columbia SC for about 4 1/2 hours. We arrived at Camden station at 10:02am 7/2/22. We were told that we have to wait for another round of staff to relieve the current staff that it would be an hour. Time goes past and we were told that staff would arrive at 1pm. Then 2pm, then 2pm. I called customer service and I was told 3:30pm. Keep in mind that the bathrooms were filled to the brim with pre and poop. Some of the doors were locked just to keep ppl from using them in that condition! Sitting for hours with uncertainty is very traumatic for someone with very high anxiety! We get maybe 5-10 minutes away from Camden in the middle of nowhere and stop. 6 minutes later an announcement is made saying that we are waiting for a conductor. Everyone on board is highly confused about what was done during the new staff arrival that we waiting 6 1/2 hours to come. I have had few panic attacks on this track! My head still hurts and I have new trama to work through due to this experience. It's not over yet. IM STILL CURRENTLY ON THE TRAIN WITH MY FAMILY. As I wipe the tears from my eyes in fear for how much longer will it be before we get home. And the fact that I can't even really do anything to relieve my children!!!! If you are thinking about using Amtrak as transportation leave 5-6 days before your really need to be at your destination. Have your therapist on speed dial. Pain pills or herbs for the pain your body will endure from being in the same positions for LONG periods of uncertain time. The food is also HORRIBLE! It's vending machine food. Burgers look like they came from dollar tree. Basic hotdog. Sandwich comes in a plastic pouch! The choices need to be better!!!! Lastly the staff passed out cheese it's and 8 oz bottle of water. Which was cool considering that's probably all the had to give customer. Amtrak must have a plan of action to compensate the passengers on the Silver 92 train going to New York. That picked us up from Orlando Florida
