The water, sewer hookup, and power pole all worked well and seemed to be in real good shape. My pull through site was nice and level. We had a full hookup site, so we didn't check the bathrooms or showers. This is a really decent overnight rest stop. With easy access to gas pumps as you leave. I will also say we did eat dinner at the restaurant within walking distance. It was a decent burger and the server was very nice. I think I will continue to use this location as a pit stop for now on.

The people were so nice and just said when I'm up to taking care of extra day, just come to office. This time I met the new owner, he is super nice. He is also doing renovations and additions to the camp. There is a beach for the kids to make sand castles, fishing, a great dog run with an obstacle run. It is also quiet. I will be staying here on the way home. It is conveniently located off I-95.

They even reopened the store after closing so our kids could go fishing, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really set the tone for our stay. We had a full hookup pull-through site with more than enough space for our 44' RV. The campground offers plenty of activities for kids, including a jump pillow, playground, pond fishing, and a pool. We also enjoyed the scenic walking trail around the pond. The bathrooms were very clean, and the laundry facilities were surprisingly affordable. There was even a spacious dog park for our furry family members to enjoy. Overall, this campground was welcoming, well maintained, and family friendly. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

Turning down the driveway, you see a picturesque old farmhouse, which is the office. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The RV sites are spacious. The park is clean. It has a large pool and a lake for swimming, boating, and fishing. Although we stayed just overnight, I would like to stay again and longer. A miniature golf course, a playground for children, and a dog park add more to Palmetto Shores, which is a Good Sam property.
