I want to commend and recommend Amundson Plumbing. I knew I was having issues and after having my foundation repaired 2 times and the company was telling me I had water under the house right after I had new flooring tiles put in, I was beyond trying to figure out what to do. I called Bill Amundson's to see if he could come out and check my plumbing issues. His crew came and they used a camera to check out the water/sewer lines. There was NO leak under the house! There were several issues in the sewer line though. Bill had his crew out here in no time and they were awesome. They gave me information on any questions I had and they even put in a new water line, moved a faucet where it could be used. I was amazed and in the end the cost was much cheaper than I could have imagined. Bill talked to me with every phone call and let me know exactly how things were done and how to get the job done within a few days, he came by and walked around letting me know exactly what was going on and how the work would be done. My two water heaters went out at the same time. Called Amundson and they dispatched, one of their plumbers , Gareth Evans. Within a very few minutes Gareth had diagnosed the problem which was that the electronic control units had both gone out. Rather than trying to sell me a bill of goods, he checked and determined that the units were both still under warranty and that there would be no charge to me for the replacement units. Gareth replaced them both in no time. Gareth also showed me where there was a serious leak in one of the pipes going into one of the heaters and the connection was heavily corroded. Amazingly, he was able to sand down the corrosion, get the connector loosened and replace the fitting. Had he not been able to do this, I would have had to replace the entire water heater or face the prospect of flooding. If all that wasn't good enough, the invoice for the work was very reasonable for all the work Gareth put in. I cannot recommend any one more highly than Gareth Evans or Amundson Plumbing. I contacted Amundson Plumbing regarding a quote for a pipe re-route due to a slab leak. Bill came out the same day to give me a quote. I got two quotes previous to Bill and one after, even though I knew that Bill's company would be the one I would use no sooner than he left. His office followed up to verify my appointment and again when he was in route. He and his crew arrived on time, were professional, knew exactly what they were doing and resolved my issue in a very timely manner. Plain and simple, Bill is extemely honest, hard working, and just a good old fashion great guy who is only interested in resolving your issue for a very fair price and not interested in fleecing your pockets. We had John & Garret come out to inspect a possible leak to which it had stopped but we wanted to make sure nothing further was leaking. They took a look and let us know everything is fine and to have industrial fans set up to help dry the wet areas that were not as bad as we thought. They said everything we did to avoid further damage was well done (pulled back carpet, unhooked dishwasher and pulled it out to expose the leak, set up fans to help dry we areas) they came out on 2/19 and said they would be back on 2/23 so there is enough time for everything to dry and they will hook up the dishwasher, make sure it works and that it's not leaking. I have used Amundson Plumbing for almost 2 years now. Everyone on staff is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. They are also very nice and courteous people to have come into your home. Also, I have always found their pricing to be very fair. My last service call was due to a clogged sewer line which, of course, happened on a Friday evening. I called Saturday morning, and even though they do not routinely schedule Saturday appointments, they were out at my house that Saturday morning and accomplished the job in about an hour. We used Amundson Plumbing service for replacing electric downdraft to gas cooktop with downdraft. They did an excellent job. The crew is outstanding and the quality is exceptional. They kept us informed of the scheduling, charges, getting city permit/inspection, materials needed, checking for gas leaks.... etc. The crew dug up a new trench/tunnel for the gas line below the foundation. We kept the existing downdraft as it is since we did not like the external above-the-island vent. read more

Great service! Needed work on both bathrooms and kitchen sink. Got a new water heater and pump for hot water flow, working great.
