In my opinion the best donuts in Albuquerque. Amazing selection of flavors. Only wish they would offer iced coffee.

Flat-out delicious donuts. I recommend that the locals support. They have a wide array of different flavors that makes this place unique and special. It's obviously artisan and local. These donuts are amazing. I tried the Elvis, and I felt like I was about to die of happiness. The only thing you should probably consider, though, is that this stuff is incredibly unhealthy. The Elvis was a cake donut with peanut butter frosting, banana, bacon, and a chocolate drizzle; my body was screaming at me for eating it. I think this place is fantastic, but more of a special treat rather than a regular thing. read more

I love going to Amy's donuts but one thing that was so disheartening tonight was the service. I went with my niece (her first time) and she was looking at the various donuts saying how excited she was because she's been wanting to try Amy's. The staff member there tonight just appeared annoyed. Very unfriendly....as we left my 13 year old niece said, "I felt like she didn't want us there." I understand if she might have been tired or something, but it just made an exciting first trip question if we want to go back. read more

I got the "chief wiggum" donut. Basically chocolate glazed raised donut with sprinkles. The biggest attraction for this place is just the sheer variety of donuts they offer. I appreciate that most of them are yeast raised donuts rather than cake. I would say this place is a few steps above your regular mom and pop donut shop or chain but not the best or most creative in Albuquerque. Inside is very spacious and colors are reminiscent of Dunkin' Donuts. read more

some chubby chick with glasses was extremely rude to a homeless man, who was also ampaying vustomer. he very kindly asked her if she could use the bathroom. she acted like she was dead and keep rudel saying "what, what" he just wanted to use the bathroom. she ultimately told him he could not use it because the manager wasn't there. B.S. You could see in her face and hear in her tone what a nasty person she is and that she looked down on him. ugh. Everything is fresh and tasty and consistent I have been there five times and ordered a variety of donuts and each and every time and every doughnut is delicious across-the-board. Please realize that my visit to Amy's donuts was on a Thursday night at 7:30. I don't know many donut shops that are open late. But now I realize why that may be. Amy's is a beautiful donut shop. There are so very many gorgeous items to choose from. But at the time of my visit, I tried 2 different things: A beautiful blueberry fritter and the Elvis donut. Everything looked absolutely amazing. I am certain they once were and still wanted to taste amazing. I left very disappointed. The Elvis donut contained bacon bits and banana slices. I can understand that using Dehydrated Bananas is a way to avoid Oxidation but the texture Of them and the bacon were a lot of work for the fluffy/goodness of a donut. It just wasn't enjoyable. The donuts were not at all fresh. Yes I realize it was not 6am. The fritter was impressive in sheen and size. One bite. Stale bread-like. It was once glorious, I'm sure. I wanted to keep trying other kinds in hope of redemption. I just left. The cases had quite a few options and a decent amount to choose from. I left wondering If these would still be for sale tomorrow morning. Sigh. read more

I really love a place that has really good yeast donuts and this place definitely has them. Almost couldn't make a decision as they had so many delicious choices. I will highly recommend the Elvis donut (peanut butter, bacon and banana chips, I got a orangecicle for a friend and it disappeared before I could even ask if they liked it. This place is great! The freshest donuts you will ever have. The donuts range from just plain glazed to fancy designer donuts with toppings like fresh fruit and bacon or both. The staff is very friendly and greet you immediately when you walk in. The prices are a bit higher than the local donut shop down the street but not by much, and since Amy's donuts are much better it's no big deal. The only complaint I had was the coffee wasn't very good. It was way too strong for my taste, I could have floated a horseshoe in it. Perhaps a "donut shop" strength option for those of us that don't frequent Seattle type gourmet coffee shops. Regardless I will definitely be back. read more

I wanted to like this place i really did. The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean and efficient, and its a great place for the family, but the donuts. They are very, very....meh? I had been here a few times, hoping each time to find somehting to rave about, something to give a super like, but its just average. They do have a very large assortment of like every kind of donut you could think of. Peanut butter and jelly. Oreo donuts. Twix donuts. Fruit Loops donuts. If Forrest gump owned donut stores instead of shrimp stores, it would be this place. But for all the variety, they seem to have lost a special "spark" . many donuts are either basically sugar filled deserts , or creative ideas not fulfilled to their potential. The peanut butter one is just about the same as a sandwich. The honey butter almond one is not even buttery or sweet. Its a sign of what happens when you have too large a menu to focus on making special what you have. They do have decent coffee drinks. Overall a decent place, very good for kiddos and those who just want something different, but to a foodie, just average. read more

The first time buying the donuts were expensive for a dozen but well worth the money very tasty I had the strawberry short cake and pumpkin spiced my had the mint was very good if you like mint she had cream burrale ( misspelled) apple pie was fantastic needless to say the children liked the donuts they are so we will be buying more donuts from Amy's so try them they may be pricey but they extremely good on special occasions or just to splurge you will not regret buying read more

Spoke with a young lady on the morning of Friday, January 31 and needed the order filled by Saturday around 2pm. The order was for four dozen donuts, Laker themed, with #8, #24, and basketball designs. I could tell the young lady was inexperienced because I had to give her my mother's name, my name and contact information. She never asked me for it but I prompted her to take it.  My mom went in on Saturday to pick them up, the employees didnt know what order she was talking about and had nothing ready. My mom said they finally found the scrap paper the lady jotted notes on.  My mom brought me the donuts. The whole order was sloppy and rushed. The purple looked like blue. There were no basketballs on the donuts. I contacted Amy's donuts to let them know I wasnt happy about their service or quality. I asked to speak with a manager and this new young lady (Alyssa) said there was no manager there, that she would have to call and talk to one. She called back and said they could not do a refund for their mistakes but would give me a $20 gift card bc I didnt give them my contact information for them to call me back. For one I did provide that, their inexperienced employee didn't know to ask or bother to write it down. I said that is not good enough, so I requested the manager's name, she said she couldnt not give out that information so at this point I was so frustrated that I just hung up. I paid $80 for donuts that looked like a 7 yr old decorated only to deal with horrible customer service. And I have never heard of a policy that you employees cant give out their managers. The whole point of having a manager is for them to deal with these situations directly and be a point of contact for customers. read more

We went here at 10:15pm and the place was extremely dirty. We walked in and the smell was enough. Smelt dirty. Made me GAG!! Almost didn't buy doughnuts. We were next in line, we picked 1/2 dozen, purchased, and went to sat down. The chairs were so filthy and dirty that they were black and feet marks were all over them. Icing and sticky was all over the seat!!!!!! Top of chair was so sticky we had to get a napkin to move it. The floor was sooooo filthy that you heard your shoes stick to it. The doughnuts were a 6 out of a 10. I know we went late. Yet, a filthy storefront and eating area is intolerable and inexcusable. We threw 4 of the doughnuts away because they were "stale" and dry. Amy's was 5 star and a 10 when it first opened. Sad how management and workers have let the place go down hill. It is just a perfect place to get something sweet!! I hope the owner or manager will show attention to this review and make changes. If not, doors WILL close in months... clean it up guys!!!!! read more
