Hallmark is decked out for the holidays. I received a warm welcome when I walked in. Christmas is everywhere in here with so many holiday items. They have tons of beautiful ornaments in all styles and price ranges. There are so many great gift items and things I wanted for myself. Ok I'll say it now, every hallmark I've been to has lovely employees that are always kind and helpful. That being said, this is my favorite hallmark!! I have no idea how but I somehow got into sending cards and little gifts and I always get them here. I think the loss lead of the monthly free just because card is brilliant as I'm now platinum. I always find the cutest little gifts and trinkets that are so thoughtful and appreciated. I don't know everyone's names and I'm sorry about that but a special shot out to Lisa & Christina. Lisa taught me, after all this time that you can literally have any other color envelope you want! They have this fun rainbow tub at the counter, or a lovely gentleman that helped me the other day told me you can also just grab it if you see it on the floor. Maybe everyone else knew but I didn't. Super grateful to be able to personalize my cards a bit more. Christina is just fabulous? She's helped me and my mom multiple times, remembered me and asked about my mom when she didn't go with. Customer service at its finest. And they're all amazing people! It can be a pain getting here at certain times of the day, depending on where you're coming from, but I assure you, it's worth it!!! My boyfriend and i entered this store well before closing. Shopped for 20 minutes in the huge store and neither the older woman nor the older man said a word to us. Even as we shopped right next to them! The woman specifically avoided eye contact with me but greeted a solo male shopper..at checkout the man working even said "you've been in here a while" sooo you saw us and chose to say nothing? so rude. Today I stopped into the store to treat myself. It had been a very rough day at work and when asked if there was anything they could help me with, I shared that I was just looking to do some retail therapy and the two women behind the counter were so lovely and kind and nice. They let me vent about my day. Sadly, I did not catch both their names, but the one was Jayne and the other had longer dark hair. They were so helpful and just helped to dissolve some of the stress I was carrying. Thank you both for making my day better! read more

My go to shop when I need cards and unique gifts. This Hallmark has been remodeled and is very organized and welcoming. You will find the classic staples of cards (birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, etc) as well as a whole range of new occasions like congratulations on the new house or your new job promotion. I also applaud Hallmark for having a more diverse variety cards for different cultures and religions. I love their Chinese New Year cards because you don't find them in the general stores very often, but they also have other Asian themed cards as well. So I appreciate that. They also the Mahogany collection which I find very tasteful. Pro tip: they have coordinated gifts with the themed cards. For example wedding cards will also a small section of wedding gifts like cute Mr. and Mrs. pillows, frames, and wine glasses. Milestone birthdays like turning 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. will have anything from bohemian water flasks, to llama socks, or the ever classic pill boxes. The best part is Hallmark even has Star Wars gifts, Harry Potter gifts, and even Disney ones! They know they have a meme of themselves with their Hallmark Channel so kudos to them for having a sense of humor. Sign up for their rewards programs for discounts an discuss offers. It's actually a really handy as you know special occasions always seem to pop up out of nowhere. You get points and it's free. Yay! All in all, rethink of what you know about Hallmark stores. Yes, it has cards, but there's so much more. Cool and unique gifts without the large crowds at other big box stores. They have the gift boxes, gift bags, gifts cards, tissue paper, and even gift card boxes (yes, it's a thing). It makes gift buying a one stop shop. Also, the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable if you need anything. Support celebrating occasions or acknowledging occasions in real life, not just online. This has got to be my favorite Hallmark ever!! Every time I come in, it's never too busy and the customer service experience is superb!! For whatever reason, when I walk in to a Hallmark I feel like a fish out of water, blank stare hands up ‍ and not knowing how or what.. that's why I love this one!! Today's selection of three different cards was made so easy with complimentary gift recommendations, even outside of what was carried in the store!! I've been coming here for over 7 years now and never a poor experience. I have always found this store to be very friendly and well run. I do prefer to buy my cards here because you get a more personal card. During mandatory covid store closures I was in need of a specific card that I wasn't going to get at a pharmacy or walmart so I called to find they offer curbside service. I found a very easy website to get what I needed. I placed my order and within minutes of getting my order confirmation email the store called and said my order was ready to be picked up! This is going to be a short and sweet review. What can I say about Hallmark? It's a card store that reminds me of a candy store. Not only do they sell cards, they have a bunch of unique little gifts for everyone. The sell candles, key chains, jewelry, mugs, coin purses, art work, stuffed animals, decorations, wrapping paper and seasonal candy for every holiday imaginable. I love coming to this location, because the staff here is always friendly and they always have what I'm looking for. I love the fact that I can get cute christmas money holder cards for only 99 cents. Why pay $3 or $4 for a card when you can pay only $1. I think this place is great. Always a bit pricey, but thats most Hallmarks. I love the candle selection here. They have great candles all year around. Fantastic soy candles. Up to day Yankee candle scents that go with all seasons. The best is around Halloween and Christmas. I love Autumn cider candles, and cedar tree ones, I burn those all year regardless if it is summer or winter. They have really good after holiday sales. The young ladies who worked Monday 2/5 early evening were so nice! They are very welcoming and so helpful. I loved the interaction with them and they both were knowledgeable about the items I was purchasing. I usually see the older lady who has been there for years! I hadn't been in for awhile so I'm not sure if she's there anymore. I really liked her too. I swear she worked there forever, we thought she should've been offered part ownership . Don't ever order anything from Hallmark. I placed 2 orders in May for Mother's Day. I had my baby April 30th. We ended up not picking up the items because they cancelled some of the items ordered. It's now July, and I still don't have my refund. Customer service claims they switched ordering systems and they they want to give me my refund, but I still don't have it. They keep apologizing. I don't want an apology, I want my money! They offered me a gift card of $15 in the meantime. I don't want to shop at Hallmark. They take your money, but can't give it back. I always ended up at the one in the District. They have a great selection of ornaments and of course I found some. As well as cards & wrap. Today's experience was very bad. I called the store before I went to make sure they had what I needed. A woman answered the phone and said yes we do. I then drove 30 minutes to go to this particular store. When I got there Andrea told me that they haven't gotten them yet and that she didn't know when that would. A few hours later my friend called again, Andrea (the same one from before) told her that she would get them from the back for her when she came in. I don't think it's right for employees to pick who to sell things to. Andrea made me feel like I wasn't good enough to buy the certain item. A card costs how much? Upwards of $7-$8 were on the high end of the scale. For any special occasion Hallmark has the exact sentiment printed. I just don't get how paper could cost so much. I am a windbag that loves to write my own messages into cards and they are no cheaper. The average cost of cards are somewhere around $4. I sometimes wonder if people even keep the card. For something that gets tossed aside for the gift, I feel like I am getting fleeced. I needed a gift bag for a very large bridal shower gift. I searched every store I could think of before I started calling around. I do not remember the name of the associate I spoke with due to my frustration, but she was filling in from another store and was so incredibly kind and helpful. I brought the gift in and she even helped me wrap it. This kind angel helped calm my nerves and make my gift look beautiful! I cannot thank her enough. If only I were able to remember her name! I use to love this store!!! Amy's Halmark was the place... Service is always good, friendly staff. Now, the BUT: Who ever did the rearranging, it is awful... Had to keep crisscrossing the store to find the things I needed.. Cards are so spread out that you don't even want to buy more than one at a time.... I had a kid themed birthday, some cards on one side some bags on the other... by the time I finished getting one bag and one card I was frustrated had been across the store, back and forth 3 times.. to compare bags and cards.... I would like to commend Scott at this location for his fantastic service! Scott always greets me with a great big smile and a very friendly hello. He always asks if he could be of any assistance and is always eager to bring me over to the section of cards I need. He is very knowledgeable about the merchandise, he will answer any questions I have and ask questions to make sure my needs are being met. He is always willing to give his opinion if I ask him which card I should buy and he even checks back with me to see which one I chose. Scott's customer service is second to none.
