Once I finally breached the inner sanctum, I was greeted by prices so high, they could make a billionaire weep. I saw a scrap of lace that was priced like it was woven from unicorn hair and spun by angels. I'm pretty sure I could buy a small island for the cost of their "sale" bin. And the staff? Oh, the staff. They looked like they were auditioning for a remake of "The Stepford Wives," but instead of being robots, they were just...snobby. Asking for help was like pulling teeth from a grumpy badger. I inquired about the difference between two types of cotton, and they looked at me like I'd just asked them to explain quantum physics in Klingon. Honestly, I'm surprised this place hasn't been swallowed by a black hole of pretentiousness. I came in today to pick it up and was told the piece had been there over a month, and because no one picked it up, they donated it. No call, no text, no email, no warning before it was given away. The only thing offered was a credit toward painting a new piece. Not a refund of the sitting fee. Not the original piece back. Just a credit, after I drove a round trip for nothing and my daughter walked out with no gift for her mom days before Mother's Day. A few things stand out: 1. If the policy is that unclaimed pieces get donated after a month, that needs to be communicated clearly at checkout and a notification needs to actually go out before the piece is given away. 2. A handmade gift from a child to her mother isn't replaceable with a store credit. The whole point was that she made it.

They had 2 cashiers working & a little bit of a line had formed behind me. Not good to be under staffed during a holiday shopping mth. I was able to ask a cashier behind me about this price discrepancy as I explained it was a different price then when I scanned the items on-line. She had told me "those are on-line prices" I told her I thought this was ridiculous, that I'm in the store already so in order to get these prices I need to order them thru the app & come back to pick them up? Can't I have them for the price listed since I'm here already? She told me I could speak to the manager about it but she was busy with a customer who wanted to buy a Christmas tree on the floor since it was the last one. I did buy a couple of other items that weren't on sale. A few days later I purchased the items I left behind on the app & did a pickup where I parked in a number parking spot & an employee brought it out to my car.
