Today 4/29 i was serviced by the lady up front with curly hair and flashy eyeshadow. Normally it's not an issue. Today i felt like i bothered her. I came in and got what i needed and proceeded to the register where she was. I brought my toddler along, and had my hands full. I paid in cash. Amongst trying to make sure my toddler didn't run off, me gathering my items, and putting my change back in my wallet, i didn't realize i had to be rushed through this process. She attempted to hand me my reciept as i was putting my change up, guess i took too long and she slammed my receipt on the counter and looked away. Okkkkkk lol. Was definitely rude. I'll still return bc she's one of many, i'll just avoid her. :)

The new layout is much brighter, and the products are displayed right at eye level, which makes browsing super easy. Plus, I was happy to find the exact deodorant I was looking for! My only minor complaint--as always with Target--is wondering why there are so many checkout lanes built into the store when only a couple are ever open. They know I've been struggling with this "mild" Texas summer and can't wait until Fall. I thought the candles would be a nice little gesture for them being little beacons of light during my weekdays. An employee approached us and told us we needed to move because "this area is for walking." I asked, "Where would you like us to sit instead?" She pointed to another area out of the way, so we moved without arguing. A few moments later, a manager dressed in black walked over and, in a harsh and disrespectful tone, said, "There is NO SITTING IN CHAIRS ALLOWED. Get up now!" I was stunned. These were chairs being sold to customers, yet we were treated as though we were doing something wrong simply by testing them. If customers aren't allowed to sit in furniture that's for sale, that policy should be clearly posted. More importantly, there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to customers, especially in front of their children, in such an aggressive and demeaning manner. The issue wasn't just the policy. It was the complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic respect. My son witnessed a manager treating his father like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. I expect a response from store management or Five Below corporate explaining whether this is actually company policy. If it is, it needs to be clearly communicated. If it isn't, then this manager needs coaching on how to speak to customers respectfully. This experience was embarrassing, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable. I won't be returning until someone addresses how this situation was handled.
