Are they open for Easter Sunday?

How much is a small fruit tart at Amy's pastry?

I want to say the individual is like $3-5 and the shareable size is closer to $22

Is this business even open? I've been calling for days and no one ever answers the phone.

They never answer but yes they are open. I think they close early now. You just have to go. They either close at 6 or 5 so just make sure u go early

Is Amy's closed I ve been calling to order a cake and no one picks up the phone?

They were closed for vacation about 10 days ago. But I have ordered 2 birthday cakes since then. I picked one up on Saturday August 3rd and also on Thursday August 8th, so I know they are open. Keep trying. They are very busy but they are worth it.

Does Amy's make something called a 'yum yum' cake?

I've never seen it there. But they do take orders for cakes. I would suggest calling to see if they can make it

Is there any vegan options?

I'm almost positive there are not any vegan options. Maybe a fruit tart? But stuff like that usually has hidden dairy. But I would call ahead just to make sure

What are their prices for cupcakes?

The last time I checked it was like 1.75 per cupcake but that was just for walk ins. I'm pretty sure you'll get a small price break if you order by the dozen for a party. But don't quote me!

Is Amy's temporarily closed? (1/3/18)

Amy's will be open on Thursday. They took some time off Monday- Wednesday.

Some were more expensive by $40 and some were less by $20, so I would say their pricing is competitive. I paid $40 for a smash cake, where as Amy's Pastry charges $16 but they add fees for every little thing such as fruit, colored frosting, etc. Plus, they are limited on cake flavors & fillings. Blue Cake House is a small business and I like to support smaller businesses. Their cakes taste amazing and will not disappoint. I will definitely be using Blue Cake House for my future orders!

I had to pick it up the day before the event and they were able to make adjustments to the icing so that it would not lose color or flavor. Everyone enjoyed it. I'm only giving this place 1 star because I actually do enjoy their pastries, but the customer service (or lack thereof) is just too much for me to handle. I recommend the red velvet cupcakes and the flourless chocolate cake - both are divine. They're also quite well-known for their butterflake rolls around the holidays and sell hundreds of them for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so they're quite good too. Anyway, I agree with L.L in that this place is staffed with nothing but rude young women. It's very rare to see significantly older women or any men selling you pastries (they're all in the back making them). For some odd reason, all of the young ladies even seem to be of the same ethnicity, so the owner really could do something to work on the diversity of the staff - it seems that he loves to hire these young "valley attitude" type girls. Let me tell you some of my experiences. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my friend. I've seen the ladies working here use the big screen on the TV to show other inquiring customers possible ideas for a cake and even ask the customers if they can email images for them to print out if they wanted an image printed on their cake. Guess what happens when I try? I asked if I could email a Harley Davidson logo for them to use on a cake and the young lady assisting me insisted that they don't do that (accept emails and print images there). She even had the audacity to say that the big screen/computer is only used to display slideshows of their past work and that employees are not allowed to even use it (I've seen a girl printing out her LegoLand tickets, so that was clearly not true). I had also clearly seen them do this the week before, but I didn't want to argue, so I just left and came back with the image myself. Suddenly she tells me that the picture can't have a white border and she hands me a pair of scissors to cut off anything that's white. At this point, I'm fairly frustrated because I know they could have easily printed it themselves. I wonder if she just didn't like me, but I was pissed that she literally wanted to do nothing to help me in any way. For some reason, I also always feel like a criminal when I go here. I don't know if they think I'm a thief using counterfeit bills or something, but they just seem to go above and beyond to see if my bills are real compared to other people that aren't of color/my age. I recently ordered a fair number of pastries and used a $50 bill to pay. First, the young lady ran the bill through a counterfeit bill detector and then used a marker to see if it was real. I felt like this was enough to verify that my money was real, but oh no, it was far from over. She had to go speak with a manger who then held the bill up to the light and ran the counterfeit marker over it again. The manager then had to go to her supervisor who also held the bill to the light and used the marker before signing her name on it with a Sharpie (I suppose to verify that she checked off on it). I understand that businesses need to protect themselves, but I felt like the machine to detect fake bills would have sufficed. I would trust a machine far more than any human employee to catch a fake bill. This whole ritual has now forced me to only pay only in singles or quarters - even if I'm buying a pricier item like a cake. I'm 21 and I've been going to Amy's ever since I was 4 years old and loved it. I'm not sure when, but at some point the ownership changed and it just seemed to go downhill in terms of service. Some pastries making Amy's worth going to, but only if you have the patience of a saint. I would actually love for this place to be like a Mexican panaderia where you can just help yourself to the pastries and put what you want on a tray. That would ever so slightly improve the experience. read more

Date of Event: April 28, 2024 Order Date: March,31,2024 Order#0032 Details: Our experience with Amy's Pastry for our event was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Despite paying an additional $140 for delivery and set-up of our cakes, the service we received was far below expectations. We placed our cake order with Amy's Pastry, including the extra charge for delivery and set-up, with the understanding that the delivery team would arrive between 12:45pm and 1:00pm, allowing ample time for setup before our event began at 1:30pm. However, on the day of our event, there was no communication from Amy's Pastry regarding the delivery or set-up. When we arrived at our event location at 1:15pm, expecting to see our cakes beautifully displayed on the cake stands we provided, we were shocked to find that the cakes had not been set up. After contacting Amy's Pastry, we were informed that the delivery driver had dropped off the cakes at the restaurant without setting them up, leaving us scrambling to find a solution. Despite multiple attempts to contact Amy's Pastry to address the issue, including calls on April 28th, April 30th and May 2nd, we received no satisfactory response. The lack of accountability and poor customer service displayed by Amy's Pastry is unacceptable. I urge anyone considering using Amy's Pastry for their event to think twice before paying for additional services. The inability to fulfill their promises and the lack of communication and follow-up demonstrate a severe deficiency in customer service. Save yourself the frustration and inconvenience by looking elsewhere for your cake needs. read more

Appalling Customer Service: Amy's Pastries Fails Miserably I am utterly disgusted by the abysmal treatment my grandmother received at Amy's Pastries. She went there to pick up a cake for her sister's funeral, a somber occasion that required sensitivity and compassion. Instead, she was met with incompetence and callousness. The cake was supposed to be decorated with clouds, a symbolic and meaningful choice for the occasion. However, it arrived with flowers instead. When my grandmother, already grieving, tried to address the mistake, she was met with indifference. The employee, Jimena, was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. Jimena, the so-called manager, was the epitome of insensitivity. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering a solution, she gave my grandmother an ultimatum: accept the incorrect cake or get a refund. This heartless behavior is unacceptable, especially considering the circumstances. My grandmother, already overwhelmed with grief, was left distraught and came home in tears. I promptly got on the phone to ask to speak to the manager and was only told the persons name before being left on hold and hung up on. The insensitivity and lack of empathy displayed by Amy's Pastries are truly appalling. It is clear that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and basic human decency. I will never set foot in Amy's Pastries again, and I urge others to avoid this establishment at all costs. Their lack of compassion and empathy has cost them a loyal customer. Shame on you, Amy's Pastries, for your despicable behavior. read more

0 W/out stars needed here.... Since when is custard pie (all pies) "not" required to be refrigerated due to the eggs & milk it contains??? The owner, tall ugly ugly old nasty dude who believes he's being challenged by little lady customers, insists that every pie he sells (by the way-pies are made elsewhere not at amys) is not to be refrigerated due to "natural ingredients & no preservatives". No Mr. IDIOT I grew up in a restaurant when eggs & milk "natural ingredients & no preservatives" were always refrigerated to prevent spoilage. All because I asked for a refund of $8.60 & only a few days passed till I cut the rubbery pie the night before. He was such a jerk about it w/an ugly attitude & defense decision to lecture how he's been in his business for 40 years etc. I finally stood my ground & stated it was all about customer service, but he wanted to continue w/his rude challenging & tell me that he would give a slice to the customers that were on the other side of the room as was cutting pieces frantically from the pie I returned & shoving a piece in his repulsive mouth. Although hurtful & embarrassing at that moment, I was the better person who decided that he could have his pie as I said "I'm not going to argue w/you" & walked out of the bakery. What has happened to this bakery institution that was once THE place to buy baked goods?!! Amy's Pastry was once the BEST place to come for cakes, cookies, and pastries. Under new management, this place has gone drastically DOWNHILL! The shelves are no longer filled with delectable breads and pastries as customer interest at this once popular bakery has waned. My friend and I are sitting here at Amy's in the extreme heat because they refuse to run their air-conditioning. Even the poor employees are sweating. No wonder people aren't patronizing this establishment like they used to. The employees are still friendly and kind, but they've now been told by their manager that they must charge extra $$ for ICE, oat milk, or soy milk when coffee is purchased. The baked goods at Amy's are still good; however, their selection is greatly limited and coffee, especially decaf, is not available. A bakery without coffee...What the heck?! I've been going to this bakery since I was a kid, and it used to be one of my favorite places. Some of my fondest memories are of visiting with my mom, picking out fresh pastries and savoring the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Naturally, I was excited to stop by this morning and relive those moments -- but sadly, the experience was nothing like I remembered. The pastries, which used to be generous and full of flavor, have shrunk considerably in size -- and not just a little. For the price they're charging now, I expected better quality and portion sizes. On top of that, the coffee was cold, which only added to the disappointment. The entire place just didn't have the same warmth and charm it once did. It's hard to say if I'll be going back anytime soon. It's disappointing to see such a beloved place change so much, especially when it holds such sentimental value. I ordered a cake for a 50th birthday party. When I went to pickup the cake the staff was unprofessional and I had to ask for assistance to get the cake to my car. They were not rude just unprofessional and when I asked questions it was like duh. The cake was supposed to have an additional piece that was missing when we displayed the cake. It was to late to go back to the bakery so the cake was unfinished. When I contacted the store to complain the person was helpful. She goes we can give you back $5 dollars. I paid $147 for the cake and she offers $5 for the embarrassment of the cake not being finished. There are to many competent bakery shops around to ever return to this place. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

I have been going here since I was a kid and I really appreciate their good products and nice service. The people that work here are quick and friendly. I love the health bread especially but all their bread is good. I buy loaves and freeze them because there is nothing like them in the grocery store. I like their Danish and their cakes. If you have a little girl or boy, they have really cute cookies they will love and remember all their lives. Like the watermelon ones. We have served their cakes for birthdays for more years than I can remember. Never a bad choice whatever you buy! read more

I recently visited Amy's Pastry and sampled their pecan pie, tiramisu, and éclair. I needed a last minute birthday cake, and the options I had at Amy's Pastry were great, this place is a local gem. The staff was very helpful, and I was able to get my cake reserved and picked up without any issue. Once I arrived, I found lovely seating available inside, a spacious cafe like setting, will definately be coming back here for some our their delicious looking pastries and cookies. read more

I use to be in love with their cakes but now they are overrated. Everything here is overly priced. The cakes are no longer moist they are very dry now. Not happy with them. read more

They…read moreweren't able to go over the menu on the phone and said I would need to come in to see what was available. They also mentioned that their display case was broken, so everything was being kept in the back, which made it a little difficult to know what the options were before getting there. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how HOT it was. There didn't seem to be any AC, and it was honestly uncomfortable. For a bakery with cakes and pastries, I was also a little surprised and wondering how everything stays fresh in that kind of heat. I ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie, a slice of Funfetti cake, and a slice of Grandma's Chocolate Cake. The Funfetti was definitely the standout -- super moist and really good. The chocolate cake was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. I haven't tried the cookie yet, so TBD on that one. Overall, the Funfetti was good, but the experience itself could use some improvement, especially with the lack of AC and not being able to easily see or understand what was available.

The cake was definitely quality we rented the fountain from them they delivered it set it up and we returned what we rented and got the deposit back. our cake was for 100 people and with the cost of the deposit and the delivery fee it was $400. Another important factor is the place where they delivered had no elevator and no escalator and there were stairs so the fact that they did all that too without charging us extra was such a relief. everywhere I went was at minimum $800 and that wasn't even for the amount of people that we asked for. The pictures are old school but that's what we were going for the fountains are definitely a day to think but they said you can give them a picture and they can do whatever you want. When I return the fountain I did see a really beautiful butterfly cake that someone designed I wish I would have taken a picture of it. Come here if you want a delicious cake for an affordable price in these crazy times! Our flavors were mango and vanilla chiffon and strawberry vanilla chiffon and then the middle cake was both of those flavors combined. Super light and Airy not too sweet just the right amount.
