I think what makes it the most worth it are the little details in her service. She taught me how to style certain parts of my hair using the blow dryer, which I asked about because I liked the way it looked on a kdrama actress, LOL. Now I do it everyday and love it! She also provides great product recommendations. Lena's salon is petite and cute, but it feels spacious enough since she usually has one customer at a time. Lena has a gentle and sweet approach to hair, making recommendations without feeling like they're being forced on you. I really appreciate that. She has done a great job dying my mom's hair, which seems to be her speciality, but I've also really loved having my hair cut by her. The products she uses smell very good. My natural hair is thick, wavy on the inside, half straight-half wavy on the outside, and it just wasn't working for me. Booking an appointment over the phone was easy and I appreciated her upfront pricing and time estimate. My perm plus haircut took about 5 hours total. I was her only client the whole time and felt at home at her studio as she kindly offered me snacks and drinks.
