Melissa, my counselor, was the most helpful and I was able to find healing with her that I could not find on my own. The lighthouse was a great and life changing experience, the love and attention that I received at this facility was something that I had never expected. Being my first time going to a recovery facility and being exposed to AA and the steps, I am so greatfull to have landed at the lighthouse. The detox went very well and in a few days I was on the main side. The staff is really caring and terrific. Clean rooms and beds. 3 meals a day, good coffee. The staff even comes in for a wake up call. I got an alarm clock at Walmart which also helped. The group study and bigbook & other recourses for recovery were well presented. I made close bonds there and we keep each other close. Along with alumni events, a sponsor, meetings and honesty this works if you want to get sober and get a new joyful life...look no farther. If you really and honesty want sobriety, just do the steps and listen to the program staff. Get a sponsor as soon as you can. Be healthy and happy again!! read more

My wife stayed at the mental health section at Lighthouse for a month. Her original stay was supposed to be just two weeks but she enjoyed her stay so much that she extended it for two more weeks. The staff is very cordial, engaging, and attentive. Whenever my wife voiced her concerns about something, they would promptly resolve any issue she had. The facility is very clean and organized. The food there is also amazing. Overall, my wife had a pleasant experience there. Hopefully she won't need to go back but if she does have to, she wouldn't mind at all. read more

Completed treatment and I 1000% recommend this treatment center. It is clean, they serve 3 meals a day, warm and comfy beds, and awesome staff. It has a strict structure, classes to help with recovery and rehabilitation as well as outside activities. They offer services for men and women but the men and women are located in separate houses and do not interact which I think is very smart. After flying in from Detroit to go to a place called Sanctuary Amigos (which I can't advise enough that they suck and should be avoided) getting turned down and stuck in rough shape in an area I don't know at all- these guys stepped in and got me into treatment the very next day. My insurance sucks and my drug situation wasn't meeting detox requirements but they found a way to get me in asap with NO hassle and even came to pick me up. The staff was super kind and into helping people...the kind of folks who would probably do their job for free bc they love what they do. The food was great and the rooms were super clean with nice, basic amenities. All needs were met, they helped recommend aftercare and I would go back in a second but I don't think I will ever need to because they did their jobs so well. read more

Anaheim Lighthouse is such a special place. I have been to several treatment centers and nothing compares to the Lighthouse. It is so clean and comfortable. They take care of your every needs with chefs that make you 3 home cooked meals a day, all the snacks you could dream of, counselors,doctors,psychologists,drivers that will take you anywhere you need, they have yoga classes and even beading groups(my favorite). I spent 90 days here and was reluctant to leave. I've managed to stay clean since I left and that is all because of the beautiful people there. The LightHouse Treatment Center is quite simply the best. During my stay, I was treated with respect, dignity, and compassion by staff from the front office to the therapist chair. Leah wrangled my brain, and I felt comforted and safe in the sessions where we talled about everything that brought me to abuse. Gloria, my case manager, worked tirelessly to ensure that my experience and recovery were always on track. A great place with an even better staff. Mike, the night lead on the WAC side, could always find time to help everyone. He would go out of his way to listen and give advice where he could. He was always making sure clients were caught up on their meds, and checking in on everyone both mentally and physically. The man works there just to help others achieve their goals of sobriety.
