Sign up online and Irvine Company will send out announcements for events at Tustin Market Place. However, most of the free stuff are for the children so if you have a family, that would be perfect. During Christmas, staff were passing out beanies and some Christmas goodies but again mainly for the children. There were candies cane, Santa, and some small drinks. For Lunar New Year - the children receive red horses in 2026 Year of the Red Horse that won't come again for another 60 years! Adults and Children got red envelopes $2!!:)) Happy Lemon was passing out drink but OMG the line was long so we skipped. The line is LONG but first come first serve basic. Free stuff run out fast so come 30 minutes early. There are foods, coffee, ice cream in the plaza but again it is CROWDED during event times! Parking - if you arrive early, there's parking in the Regal parking lot. If you arrive late, it best to Park across the street where 24 Hours Fitness is located. read more

I used to come here to shop and to just walk around to the different areas of the marketplace and they dropped the ball on keeping the walkways clean so I don't come anymore. I don't know what the deal is. They keep laying these big brick areas in all the entryways when what they need is a halfway decent gardener to clean up the area. read more

They added a whole new section with new places to eat and they definitely chose some winners: Shake shack, Handel's, BLK Dot coffee and more that I haven't even explored. I really like the Handel's because not only do they put a picture of what the flavor looks like but they also put a description of what's in it. There's another location and I literally have to ask what is in each one and it could be a lot to ask sometimes. BLK dot is super popular and they have too many drinks that I want all at once so this was definitely a great choice. I definitely need to come here more often because it's a one stop shop for everything. read more

The Market Place is great! It's one of my favorite mall-like places. I recently came here for the European Wax Center and the Ulta for makeup. The area is maintained well and it's clean. You don't see homeless people hanging around this are. It seems nice and secure. There's lots of shopping and food options at this outdoor mall. It is spread out, which I find helps with the crowds and makes it easier to find parking. Unlike other malls. Some areas have 20 minutes only parking. That gives you enough time to run in and grab a to-go order or grab a specific item you are shopping for. I've never seen anyone actually monitoring the 20-minute parking stalls, but I wouldn't wanna push it and find out lol (mess around and find out lol) I always end up coming back here. It's a nice area and it has so much to offer consumers. read more

As I was waiting for Road Runner Sports to open at 11:00 AM this past Sunday, I walked around at The Marketplace in Irvine. It's a pretty big shopping center. Lots of restaurant and merchandise store options. Got a chance to take some nice pictures. Tons of parking. Honestly, I don't know how these malls do it... so many options and I'm sure there are so much competition. How do they survive? Besides shopping at Road Runner Sports, I ate spicy miso ramen at J San Ramen and got to experience build my own boba drink at Class 302 which was interesting. I will do separate reviews for these other places. Overall, I had a wonderful afternoon here. They are all decked up for the Christmas holiday with a gigantic Xmas tree. I love the Marketplace. Mostly I come for the dining. They have Sauced, Lazy Dog, BJs, Texas De Brazil, and many more. I like Target, Verizon, and Roadrunner Sports. This shopping center is ginormous, but navigating through the plaza sucks. Whoever designed this place didn't thoroughly plan the exits well because it constantly feels like driving through a maze. Nonetheless, the food and shopping options here are decent. You have Target, Nordstrom, Amazon Fresh, Total Wine, Class 302, Texas De Brazil, Snooze, REI, World Market, etc. just to name a few. It's also a dog friendly plaza too, so you can take your dog out for a small walk. There's always a lot of parking too, but like I said, just wish they did a better job with the layout of the plaza. read more

First time to visit this shopping center. At first, I was in awe how big this place was. I also got too excited with the list of stores in this complex. Pretty impressive, I would say. It's definitely a one stop shop....errrr, not really. The problem was, it's just too hard to navigate this shopping center. I also found out that the entire complex is divided along Jamboree Road into two cities. One side falls in the city of Tustin and the other side belongs to Tustin. Interesting, right? I started off my day at Sprouts and from there, I proceeded to Ross, TJ Maxx, and Old Navy looking for a more comfortable shoes than what I was wearing. I didn't find one that suites me but I ended up buying some outfit (women, women). By that time, I was hungry so I started looking for places to eat. I considered Snooze but too far. Lazy Dog? Even farther. In n Out? It's on the other side of El Camino. So what did I end up with? I saw the newly opened KoJa restaurant so I settled for it. Not really my first choice so I'm glad I liked it. I didn't have the energy to visit other stores. They are so spread out and too far apart that it's really very hard to go around. I pretty much sat on a wicker chair under the huge palm trees with iced water on hand courtesy of Starbucks until it's time for me to go home. read more

The Marketplace is a great shopping center located in Irvine and I was surprised to learn that it is over twenty years old! As you drive down the road, you'll see the welcome point for The Market Place, which seems super fancy and it's a strip mall filled with restaurants and shops, and because it's in a suburban area, parking isn't something you have to worry about. We dined at Texas de Brazil when we were here and ate dessert at Handel's, and there seems to be everything you can do here from shopping to dining to movies. As a first time visitor, again -- I was surprised to see that it's pretty old because the place is so well-maintained. Irvine is really a different breed because they do such a great job at taking care of the city, and you can tell by plazas like these... If you live in Irvine, you're really living the American Dream because it's such a wealthy area and I would love to visit this shopping center again. Great weather and great vibes! read more

I live close by and so I am here A LOT. It is so big and spread out that sometimes it is hard to figure out which quadrant a store is in, if you don't already know. They have lots of stuff I need and want though, which is good. I feel like this shopping center is slowing dying, however, as many tenants have moved out, including Barnes and Noble. RIP. read more

The Market Place has gotten better! There's actually shops here that I would frequent. I feel like this center goes up and down every few years, from being uber awesome to just OK. Let me tell you though: back when I grew up in Tustin Ranch (around 10 - 13 years ago), this was THE place to go. There used to be not one but two cinemas, a Red Robin, and such. Now: lots more restaurants, some fast food, fast casual, and proper dining, an assortment of your big box shops and boutiques, one cinema, a few coffee chains, and an all around center that has your neighborhood necessities. Tustin side has, on the whole, some more of the discount stores (Ross, Marshalls), both sides have furnishings, and oddly enough - Toys R Us is on the Tustin side and Babies R Us is on the Irvine. Think they should be next door like I do? Nevertheless, ample outdoor courtyards to enjoy the southern California sunshine! read more

This is a mega shopping center located partly in Tustin and partly in Irvine, with Jamboree road as the dividing line...in quinque partes divisa est. Two sections are in Tustin and three are in Irvine. It is impossible to list or comment on all the businesses here, but there is a pretty good mix of types of businesses including items for your home, apparel and plenty of restaurants. Two businesses that are here that are not readily nearby immediate area are the Total Wine and More, and REI both of which do not have other locations in the immediate area. read more

The layout is ridiculous. It's a complete maze. Poorly thought out when this place was built for vehicles. Even walking, there's very little option to find an opening to get through just to get to the other section of this maze-lot. Is Target on the right? Which side is REI on? Tustin, Irvine? Is it on Jamboree or El Camino Real? Been here multiple times, I still need to make sure I'm going in the right direction and there's really no short cuts. Unless you are always going to the same places, from a familiar route, it can be a struggle that can leave you thinking, is it worth it to go? Well, it is. Retailers like Target, REI, Best Buys, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, World Market, and Ulta are here. Amongst a good range of eateries like Hop Doddy Burger, Urban Plates, In N Out, Bone Fish, CPK, Chick-fil-A, Pieology, Snooze Taps Brew House, Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen, juice bar Nekter, coffee spots CB&T and of Starbucks and fitness centers Core Yoga and 24hr Fitness. There's even a Sprouts and a Home Depot. Both Verizon and ATT and an Edwards movie theater. Parking is plentiful and beautiful, tall palm trees galore. Nice touches to make that crazy U-turn back on the other side not as dreadful, I guess. There's many more to list from small local to large corporate shops. So maybe the plan was to have you drive around and go "Oh, they have Bed Bath and Beyond, too?" Unknowingly alluring you to comeback and visit some more of this widely spread shopping center. read more

You are a ten to fifteen minute car ride on the freeway away. You are not at the Spectrum. Calm down hipsters. It may seem massive, but it's really just spread out conveniently. Want to exercise? Great variety of stores and restaurants. Unfortunately there are many rats on the grounds that you can see when you are sitting on the outdoor patios. One ran right by my feet last night. The couple at the table next to me did not want to put their Yorkie on the ground because of all the rats they saw. I wish Irvine Company would do something about it.
