We initially called them out to repair a roof leak after discovering a few broken roof tiles around and below our solar panels. Based on the visible damage, it appeared that area was the source of the leak. After the repairs were completed, we experienced another significant rainstorm and unfortunately discovered the leak was still present. When I contacted Heritage Roofing Solutions, Johnny immediately stood behind his work. Once I had the solar panels removed to allow full access to the roof, Johnny returned and thoroughly inspected the area. He identified the underlying issue and repaired the entire section beneath the solar panels. What impressed me most was that Johnny completed the additional repairs at no charge. That level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction is hard to find these days. Throughout the process, the entire crew was professional, friendly, punctual, and respectful of our property. They cleaned up thoroughly after the work was completed and provided detailed before-and-after photos so we could clearly see the repairs that had been made. If you're looking for an honest roofing company that stands behind its work and truly cares about its customers, Heritage Roofing Solutions is an excellent choice. He even made a detailed video on the spot during the visit to walk us through his findings which proved valuable during negotiations with the seller. Later Noah returned to help troubleshoot several leaks during heavy rains. Upon initial inquiry, Specialist Roofing & Repair was pretty quick to reply, so I scheduled a consultation. One odd thing is, when I scheduled, they asked if the would be seeing both my husband and I or just me; I find this a strange question as what if I wasn't married? It is awfully assumptive to think I had to have a husband, but I digress. Noah was scheduled to perform the inspection. He was running a bit late and called about 5 minutes after our scheduled time letting me know he ran into some traffic and would be about another 5 minutes or so. He showed up 20 minutes later and it was the oddest thing, he parked in my driveway. When he came up to the door he asked if it was okay and I said okay, but honestly, I found it really strange and just didn't want to prolong the appointment. Upon inspection, he seemed very knowledgeable and personable and did a pretty thorough inspection taking pictures and videos of the roof and surrounding areas. As mentioned, I am the type to obtain multiple quotes, so I expected that after he did the inspection, we would go over his findings and a few days later I would receive a quote. After he did the inspection, he showed me a video of something the other roofers didn't, which was nice as I like a thorough job, but then said he would be in touch with a quote. I received a phone call a few days later asking to discuss findings, but when I called back, I got an AI bot which was then followed up by a call back from a real person. Oddly enough, when they called, they literally said nothing. They asked if it was a good time to talk and I said yes but they wanted to talk when "my husband was around." Even though I said it was a good time, they said they would call back. I followed up via Yelp message. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive any quote from them. Needless to say, I won't be going with this company. They aren't willing to work with just a woman and are unresponsive.

The person responding to my texts, who I believe was Abigail, was responsive and helpful whenever I reached out to the company's main number. Unfortunately, despite her responsiveness, I still had difficulty getting the information I needed from the technician assigned to my project. I understand that delays can happen, but timely communication and following through on commitments are important. Based on my experience, I was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness and would encourage the company to improve communication between their technicians and potential customers.

The job took 4-days, really 3.5-days with the first 0.5 being a crew who peeled off the old shakes the first day and some supply delivery. 2nd was delivering more supplies, checking for dry rot, replacing as needed, and starting the plywood, and waterproofing. 3rd was shingling and gutters (separate crews), 4th finishing everything up including painting the vents to match with the new roof. Besides price, our other priority was a company that did not use subcontractors, and SoCal Roofing only uses their own employees, so we felt confident moving forward with them after checking out some of the previous homes they'd worked on. From quote to install, the project went very smoothly. They were quick to respond to any questions we had, and the full roof replacement was done in about three days. Timing couldn't have been better, since we got several days of rain a few days after the install, so it was the perfect time to "test" the roof to make sure there weren't any leaks. We were solid. Among all the businesses we've worked with for other upgrades to our home, we can honestly say that SoCal Roofing is one of the only ones where we have felt 100% confident in the work that they did. He found a large crack in the concrete chimney cap that was allowing rain to penetrate and flow down the outside of the firebox and down to the hearth. There was no roof leak at all. I received a call today, a few days before the appointment, that we are out of their service area and it wouldn't be cost effective for them to come. First of all, this is extremely unprofessional....even a little restaurant or pizza place would determine if you are in their delivery area. They had my address at the time I made the appointment and it was included on my confirmation email. This would seem like a basic business practice to see if I am in their area and at the very least I would expect a call immediately to cancel and not after almost a week of waiting. At this point, I thought I had an appointment and someone would be able to repair my roof soon. If I had known they wouldn't do so I would have been calling other companies during this week if downpour. I feel that this is their fault/oversight and they should have honored the appointment and done some staff training for whomever answers the phone. I guess I probably dodged a bullet if they are only focused on how much money they are going to make and don't actually care about their customers.

I discovered termites inside my condo, and Anarumo Inspection Services did an excellent job addressing the issue. The owner, Frank, was patient in answering all of my questions and very friendly in person. He showed real empathy for how stressful and unsettling the experience can be for a homeowner. The pricing was competitive, and Frank even made a return visit at no charge to re-treat the area -- even though it was likely that the first treatment just needed a bit more time to reach the entire colony. I rarely write reviews, but when I find a vendor who is truly conscientious and provides outstanding service, I like to spread the word. As soon as our offer got accepted for this house in Santa Ana, I called Frank to get an appointment for Sat (usually you need at least 2 weeks to get Sat appointment for home inspections) he was fully booked. However, he said he may have a cancellation on the 9AM slot. Sure enough, Frank called me on Thursday night to confirm that I could get that 9AM appointment. The bones of the house looked solid but there were cosmetic things we know needed to be addressed. To find out more during escrow, we hired Diamond Property Inspections after talking to a few home inspectors and getting quotes. Their initial response was professional and knowledgeable. They were not the cheapest but their initial contact was the best and they met my schedule. He worked for 3.5 hours as he painstakingly took the time to assess the homes conditions. I was there and walked around the house separately. He caught the things I saw and a bunch of stuff I didn't. Late that evening he emailed his final report. His report was thorough and illustrated there were other stuff that we had to be concerned about including an aged HVAC. We submitted a request for repair credit which the seller tried to negotiate down but we did not accept it and walked away from the home. An offer was placed on a different home that looks more solid and I will definitely utilize Diamond to take a look at that home before we complete transaction. Highly recommended!

He doesn't shy away from doing the hard stuff, like going on rooftops or crawling under very tight crawlspaces. He gave us actionable items that we will be using to make sure that if he's still around when we sell our home and a seller hires him, he won't have much to say His detailed report was so good that when I hired specialist inspectors (like electrical and structural) due to issues he noted, they either trusted his report at face value and just gave me a quote for the repair or incorporated his findings and pictures into their reports!
