We had a great experience with Davie. He was honest, quick and offered plenty of feedback, recommendations regarding our issue. My family and I have been sick for 6 months with influenza A, bronchitis 4x, laryngitis x1, pneumonia x2. We our were in turmoil as of what to do. We didn't know if it was mold, spores or other hazardous air quality in our home or if it was just from all the allergies and pollen from all the rains this year. We finally decided to get the air quality in our home checked. Turns out that we have an elevated amount of particles circulating in our home which could be triggering our allergies. I have to admit that my only experience with this company is over the phone and, as a small business owner myself, I really appreciate the honesty that I got when asking for pricing for asbestos testing. With my boyfriend being a bit of a hypochondriac, he suddenly wanted the insulation in our attic tested. We didn't need work done, just wanted it tested for knowledge. I called a nearby competitor and was quote $350 just to have a sample tested. My long overdue appreciative post... I have now used Condol's twice, with very different results. I was referred to Davie by an attorney friend who deals with mold cases. That they trust this person to provide authoritative opinions on cases speaks volumes. The first time out to my house he found potential mold, which needed to be handled by my association. He gave me very specific instructions on who I should contact next, what I should ask about, etc. The second time he didn't find mold in that same area. YAy! What he did do, however, was give me great advice on how to protect myself against future issues. The dude was a wealth of information. Additional fun fact: he doesn't do remediation. So, if you're looking for someone to provide an unbiased review of the mold situation without worrying about the up-sell, you are golden. The basic pricing is a flat fee, many testing options are available (sometimes for an additional charge), and he is very forthright from the first conversation. He will have a conversation with you at the first appointment and will only recommend necessary procedures. And just for funsies, he will send you a super detailed email of findings and recommendations upon request (although usually about a day after he says he will). While preparing for my son to arrive, I began remodeling his room and sanded the walls before painting. I was afraid some of the lower layers of paint had some lead in it. I also was concerned about some old popcorn from the ceiling that had fell behind a shelf in the closet (possibly asbestos) after the old ceiling was scraped. So I called Davie. Thanks Davie for helping us out especially my wife with buying our new home. This was in June when Davie inspected our prospective home and he informed us of some things that may cost us in the future,totally upfront and non bias which saved us a lot of money and we ended up up buying a different property which he Inspected for us.
