Charlene handled my hair and Launa did my makeup, and together they nailed it. Charlene guided me on adding curl but not too much volume. I was very happy with the result. Launa's makeup was equally awesome. She made me feel put together without my makeup being heavy or overdone. It held up beautifully through a long evening and I received a lot of compliments. Both ladies were professional, warm, attentive, and invested in making sure I loved the final result. They listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. I left feeling confident, beautiful, and ready for a gorgeous wedding. I would absolutely book Charlene and Launa again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair and makeup artists who are talented, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Jessica did an amazing job on her hair and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. She was friendly, fun to talk to, and made conversation feel easy and natural, which helped create such a relaxed atmosphere. She really listened to what was wanted and paid attention to every detail. The braided style blended perfectly into the curls and ponytail, and the final look was beautiful, elegant, and photographed so well. She left there with a big smile and said she felt so pretty! Her makeup turned out gorgeous, unfortunately I do not remember the lady's name, but she was terrific. My son's gf had picked out a look she wanted, the makeup artist did mention that the look would be dark and they could start light and go darker if needed. She was absolutely amazing with makeup and truly a wizard with the brushes. Her blending skills were incredible, and she really knew how to enhance features without making the makeup feel heavy or overdone. The final look was soft and natural, while still giving that glamorous polished finish perfect for a special event. She created such a beautiful balance between elegant and effortless. Everything stayed comfortable and secure throughout the event. The makeup lasted and did not smudge or smear off. I would absolutely recommend Jessica and the makeup artist to anyone looking for hair styling services and makeup for an event. We would definitely come back to here again!

Unfortunately, I'd recommend doing your research before booking here…read more Six weeks before my wedding and a day before my bridal shower, I booked a blowout and added a trim while there (note: trim was at her suggestion and guarantee she would "slay it"). After washing and straightening my hair at home, I discovered the cut was noticeably choppy and uneven (photos attached). The appointment had started late and became rushed so I initially gave the stylist the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was simply an unfortunate one off. I reached out privately and was very cordial. I asked only for the haircut portion to be refunded, not the blowout or the two products I purchased. I even told her I loved the blowout and had planned to return for another. She apologized and acknowledged the haircut was concerning but repeatedly asked me to return so she could examine and correct it. Because I'm getting married in six weeks and will already need to lose additional length to fix the cut I politely declined and said I was more comfortable having my regular stylist correct it. Instead of refunding the haircut, I was offered three free blowouts. I don't regularly get blowouts, so I politely declined again and reiterated my request for a refund of ONLY the haircut. Unfortunately, what disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself because mistakes happen. It was how a reasonable request was handled after the fact. I gave multiple opportunities to resolve this privately and fairly and have not been refunded. I'm sharing this because I wish I had done more research beforehand, and others deserve to make an informed decision based on my experience. Additionally, I discovered this kind of behavior is actually common for this specific salon and owner, Lauren. I didn't plan to share this but after learning this is common behavior and bully tactics had been leveraged towards others in the past for speaking up, I didn't feel right not sharing my experience. Update: I was never informed at the time of service my cut was not "finished" since I assume when the cape is removed and I pay, it's done. Please be sure to confirm with your stylist the cut is finished before you pay and leave. I've since considered my haircut charge a donation towards future learning opportunities for the Master stylist at this salon. I also added the text exchange for full transparency since the owner has decided to alter the narrative.

Jennifer Forester at Anasa Hair Studio has been my "go to" girl for almost three years. She's funny, professional, and takes care of you while you are in her chair. She has cut and styled my curly hair, and cut my son and daughter's hair as well (all the while being completely respectful to my kids, listening to what they want, joking with them, and answering their never ending questions). I have been 100% happy with our outcomes...except for three weeks ago when she cut my son's hair. She listened to my son, and cut his hair how he wanted it. But he's 12, and his hair did not come out well. So I made another appointment to bring him back in to get it re-cut two weeks later in the hopes it would grow out a little bit and look okay. It didn't, so back in we went. Jennifer took care of it, listening to my concerns as well as giving my son a look he wanted. She found that balance between "mom and child", which is amazing because that is a very difficult thing to do. Knowing we weren't happy with the original cut, Jennifer wouldn't let us pay for the fix. Her goal is to make you happy and feel as beautiful as you are. She's one of the most honorable people I've met, and it's a pleasure to go in each time to see her. read more

I went to Anasa Hair Studio today to have my hair cut by Victoria Ruiz. I am a very busy mom who has not been able to get a hair cut in over two years. I thought I would just pop in and out and maybe even not worry about experience being relaxing or exciting and just get a much needed hair cut. The solan was buzzing but still felt calm, everyone there had a kind smile. Beautiful and kind people and no feeling of snobbery or cold people. Victoria was kind and thoughtful and asked me about my needs. She then washed my hAir in a calming environment with amazing smelling product that made my hair feel great as well. As she worked we chatted, she was focused and kind and really put me at ease as we I chose a style I never had before. The cut took at least 6 inches off my hair and I wasn't worried at all because I could tell she knew what she was doing. A kind collaborative approach with her co workers all benefited me and we had some nice laughs and chats yet it wasn't forced and I could relax and be quite as I wanted to. I was so pleased with my cut. By far a wonderful cut and experience! I will be back!!! All the customers looked great, I heard joy all around. AMAZING is the best way to sum up my experience! I saught out Kaitlyn from Facebook pictures they had posted of her work on their page. I was able to make a same day appointment, and Kaitlyn gave me nothing but confidence in her abilities and really listened to what I wanted. The atmosphere was fantastic, everyone was very welcoming. I walked in with long, thick, heavy hair, grown out highlights, and a few damaged areas. I walked out with GORGEOUS Baylage Highlights, Kaitlyn cleaned up my layers, gave me a deep conditioning treatment and polished my look with beautiful curls. I was able to gain a lot of knowledge from her on how to treat and take care of my hair in order to maintain my new and improved bright beautiful blonde hair. I've never had a hair lady or a place that I love going to but now I'm a believer. I've had long hair all my life and have just donated fourteen inches of it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I went to Emily who I was referred to by all of my boyfriend's family who are loyal Emily clients. She did an amazing job, I didn't anticipate loving short hair so much but she cut it and styled it in a way that allows for movement and a natural sort of style that doesn't really require styling. I'm so glad I donated my hair and I'm sooo glad I went to see Emily. All of the staff were very friendly. The lady who was working the desk accidentally overcharged me, forgetting it was a women's cut sale day and she promptly called me after I had left telling me I could come in at my convenience to be reimbursed and apologized much more than necessary. I was so thrilled with my hair I hadn't even noticed she over charged but I was touched that she was so honest and compassionate with me. It was my first time going to Anasa Hair Studio today and my experience there was amazing! The staff are all super friendly, and the whole ambiance of the place is so peaceful and relaxing. You're offered water, tea, coffee...even wine and beer! My stylist was Lindsay Stewart and she did such a wonderful job with my hair. She listened to what I had to say about the concerns I had with my hair and what I was hoping to achieve. She offered me advice and recommendations on what to do with my hair, there at the salon and when I'm at home (what products to use, etc). She spent time going through all the different hair colors, as well as the different methods there were to achieve my desired color and look. Lindsay was not only very professional, but also extremely polite and friendly. She has such a great personality, did an amazing job on my hair, and I can't wait to go back! I made a first time appointment with Lisa today and the prices online for just a normal hair cut was round $21-35 dollars. So I was glad for that price. So I made the appointment and went in. The place is really nice and really relaxing. They even massage your neck before they wash your hair. I liked that. So I was telling myself that I was gonna come back again. Lisa was great! She didn't really chat with me except about products that I should use.. which is fine with me. I'm not a chatty person. So she finished with my hair, wrote down all the products she used on my hair and sent me to go pay. The lady at the desk rung me up and apparently just getting a wash, cut and somewhat of a style done cost $50! I kept thinking, what in the world cost me $50 to get my hair cut!? I get if it was $20-$25, but $50? I should not even cost that much! This is why I don't go to hair salons very much. I can't find a decent hair salon that doesn't cost a lot of money! read more

Stephanie was my stylist for my 12:30 appointment. I was visiting my mom for the weekend and I was looking for a great salon in the area. I looked online and once I read the reviews for this salon I was hooked! Everyone was so happy with their results. I walked in earlier that morning but it was completely booked! Luckily an opening was available later that day. I knew from what I saw this salon was going to deliver! I had the Wednesday/Friday $38 special, which included a wash, cut, a style. You get a neck/shoulder rub with some tingly ointment and a hot towel, as well as a 3 min. leave in treatment. I know sort of what I wanted, but Stephanie knew how to make the look happen! I had a blow out style, shoulder length layered style and it was simply wonderful! I definitely will be coming back to this salon when I am in town again. I absolutely love Anasa Hair Studio!! From the moment I walk in the door, I am greeted by George or the receptionist, and made to feel special and welcomed. I have been going to Helen for a few years now and she has always given me gorgeous color and cuts. Helen is super creative, really an artist when it comes to color, cutting and styling. She is very knowledgeable about different cutting styles and continues to take classes on new styling techniques and color theory. She is one of the owners of the salon and passes her knowledge on to the newer stylists on her team. I love that everyone in the salon has that same helpful, work together attitude. Helen truly loves what she does and loves her customers!! Also, the products Anasa uses are sulfate free and more gentle on your hair and scalp. I have been going to Anasa for about a year now. Jennifer Foerster was referred to me by one of her other customers. I have been sensitive about my hair and have never done much with it (long, blonde and straight). Over the past year, Jennifer has listened to my views on my hair and my lifestyle, and she worked with me within my comfort zone. My hair has never been healthier, and, just recently, I decided to go with a new style. Jennifer took my past comments into consideration when suggesting and executing the new look. This is the second time that I've been to Anasa, and I will continue to come here. Each time I have visited, I have felt very welcomed, and they always ask if I would like something to drink (which is awesome!). The first time I went, Kayla was my stylist. She was so sweet and very attentive to what I wanted done with my hair. I felt like she really cared about what I wanted done, and didn't just chop away at my hair. I'm so happy I found Anasa Hair Salon about 8 months ago and Emily is my wonderful stylist. She is very friendly and very knowledgable and a excellent stylist. She really listens to what I like and always does a great job. When we moved to S. California 3 years ago I really had a hard time finding a stylist that listened and was friendly. I ended up with some awful haircuts until I found Anasa Hair Studio this year. I've been so impressed with how caring and professional the entire staff is at the salon but most importantly I can't say enough good things about Emily. Love, love, LOVE getting my hair done by Emily! I'm super picky about my hair, and terrified of change, but Emily makes me feel so comfortable and cared for. I recently went into Anasa to get my hair colored and a cut. It was a very nice salon, everyone there was super friendly. My stylist was Lindsay Stewart she was amazing! Im terrible with hair color, I change my mind a lot. She sat there and explained to me what colors would look good with my skin tone and she talked to me about all my options. Next was the haircut and i HATE haircuts, but she reassured me she would only take off as much hair as i wanted and I LOVE my haircut. Jennifer Foerster is incredible! I go there on "Men's Day" and get the whole treatment: Consultation; wash; scalp, neck and shoulder massage; barber wrap; and a great haircut ans style! Lindsay is an amazing stylist. Very attentive to what you want done with your hair. I am pretty complicated. I want to look edgy but classic and she always seems to get the perfect blend of the two. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind, and she used her professional expertise to recommend colors that would complement my natural features and skin tone. The results exceeded my expectations! What stood out to me most wasn't just her talent and creativity, it was the genuine care she has for the health of her clients' hair. Elizabeth is honest, patient, and truly listens. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience, and those qualities are exactly what you hope to find in a hairstylist. Her services are worth every penny, and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment. Most of all, I'm thankful to Jesus for placing her in my path.

I have never…read morein my life felt so compelled to write such a negative review but after the treatment I received from the Owner Reyna, it's outrageous. If you have curly hair, DO NOT come here to get your hair cut. If you know curly hair, you know how traumatic getting a bad cut can be ruining years of growth and hard work into our hair. I'm not even writing this about the stylist, she was very nice just simply doesn't know curly hair well enough. This is about the owner whom argued with me on the phone for 20 minutes when I requested my money back. I have never had to fight with a business owner over a validly incorrectly done service. Reyna was beyond condescending, rude and dismissive. She continued to then claim that I actually now owed her money! She nitpicked the service that I received (a cut/wash and style) and how long the service took (1.5hr) actually makes it that I should've been charged more and actually owe her money now. My curls were beautiful before and I feel extremely humiliated with what I have now, curly hair can be a very emotional subject due to how often we deal with individuals who don't know about shrinkage and shape, how it looks wet is not the same as how it looks once it's dry. It will take a very very long time for this grow out enough to fix, yes hair grows back but it's emotionally damaging having a reminder of something so negative in the mean time. The owner had no regard for this being expressed and only continued to argue with me. She then lies and says that she would give me her personal phone number for me to send the photos of my proof of before and after, to then be sent a phone number that wasn't even hers. The first 2 photos are the before, the rest is what I have now. I've never dealt with someone so beyond unprofessional, please do not support this business. Times are getting tougher for individuals and feeling inclined to save some dollars by going somewhere less expensive should not mean you should have to sacrifice your respect and customer service. Did not receive refund.

I really believe this was a "wild card" experience. My favorite coffee shop is directly next door to The ASTUTIA SALON. After enjoying my delicious dirty chai latte with a double shot of espresso, I reluctantly wandered into the salon nervously asking if they were able achieve the perfect look. Janice was extremely confident as she explained that she could do exactly what I was dreaming of! My desire was to walk out looking like a rock star... and Janice made that happen! She proved that there are still expert stylists who know how to make their client feel and look funky and beautiful at the same time! My kids, friends, and husband all love my new look! Not that I cared so much about the quality of the haircut, but still it's one of the worst I have ever had undeniably. Even the ponytail can't hide it! In a nutshell, - It's pretty obvious that they don't appreciate walk-ins - According to my hairdresser, there is no such thing as $15 haircut that they promote everywhere unless you have "guy's hair". Be ready to pay 3 times or more! - They are mediocre at best (and much worse than that in my case)

It felt frustrating to sit around without clear communication or updates. What made it worse was that parts of the service were handed off to an assistant who didn't seem properly trained & it was not the first time this happened.
