Disappointing Restaurant Experience I have tried this restaurant a few times before, and now that they have moved to a new location, I was hoping for a better experience. Since they moved and had a fresh start, I expected improvements. However, it's the exact same greed in the way they price their menu which it doesn't reflect the quality, quantity, and overall service. I don't have a problem with the price at all if it's related to what they serve, as well as to overall image of the place. My wife and I ordered two small sandwiches and extremely tiny portion of hummus and eggplant. To be honest, you can hardly call it an appetizer at all. Firstly, the quality of the sandwiches was very poor. The meat was very sparse, and the taste of sour cabbage overpowered the small amount of meat in the sandwiches. Each of these low-quality sandwiches cost $18. If you consider the taxes and tips for each item, it comes to around $22 for each sandwich. I would have no problem with the price if it reflected the quality and quantity of the food, but it does not. I have worked, managed, and owned restaurants in both the United States and different countries. Specifically, some of them were focused on the type of food they served. Therefore, this review comes from an experienced restaurant professional. Additionally, I have been fortunate enough to visit many types of restaurants at various levels even in Turkey the country from which this cuisine originates., allowing me to easily distinguish between a good and a not-so-good establishment. The most troubling aspect of this particular restaurant is the owner's consistent pattern of responding aggressively, insultingly, and defensively to any criticism. At times, he even denies that the person who wrote the review actually visited his establishment, instead of taking responsibility and working towards improving the quality of service, food, and overall business. A Rocklin Treasure - Anatolian Table Never Disappoints Anatolian Table has been a beloved staple in the Rocklin area for years--and for good reason. While many Mediterranean restaurants have come and gone, none have come close to matching the quality, authenticity, and warmth that this gem consistently delivers. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an inviting atmosphere and the rich, comforting aroma of expertly spiced dishes. My go-to favorite is the mixed grill--a beautifully balanced plate of tender, flavorful meats cooked to perfection. Each bite is a reminder of why Anatolian Table remains the gold standard for Mediterranean cuisine in the area. And don't even get me started on the baklava. It's absolute heaven--layers of delicate, flaky pastry with just the right amount of sweetness and that satisfying nutty crunch. It's easily the best I've ever had, and I find myself dreaming about it long after the meal is over. If you're in the Rocklin area (or even if you're not--it's worth the drive), Anatolian Table is a must-visit. First time here and had such a great experience. Every dish was great! We started with a large salad, then ordered the Sea Bream, sultans delight lamb, and knafeh for dessert. The salad was so tasty (not pictured) it was a little overpriced at $17 but had enough for lunch the next day so no complaints. Sea Bream was the star of the meal. Every bite of grilled fish was juicy and packed with flavor. Sultans delight lamb. The lamb was perfectly cooked, not gamey. The eggplant was great. The sauce tasted so good I just wish the flavor was more concentrated seeing how good it was. Knafeh is one of my favorite desserts and this did not disappoint. Service fast and friendly. Ambiance was nice. Beautiful artwork that I believe is for sale. Turkish light fixtures throughout the interior. The exterior sign light was off when we came. I let the know and they said when it rains sometimes the sign goes out. When I left it was turned on. Can't wait to come back and try more! read more

I recently dined at a Turkish restaurant that left me less than impressed. The first disappointment came in the form of the portion sizes - minuscule at best. It seemed like they were serving tapas rather than full meals. I left the restaurant hungrier than when I arrived. Not only were the portions laughably small, but the taste was nothing to brag about. The dishes lacked the bold flavors and authenticity that one would expect from a Turkish restaurant. It felt more like an uninspired attempt at recreating traditional cuisine. To add salt to the wound, the restaurant had the audacity to charge extra if you dared to pay with a credit card. This nickel-and-diming tactic left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. It's disheartening when a restaurant resorts to such practices instead of focusing on delivering quality food and a satisfying dining experience. We love this place. We are loyal customers that go couple of times a year for 18 years here. We love their food, we became friends with the owner since we always go as a family and it is a small restaurant. He saw us since I was pregnant and my daughter growing up all these years. My daughter loves their lamp kabob with rice. I love their chicken kabob with rice. Their rice is very tasty and has some mix veggies. My husband tried each time something new and different. He likes them all. We always share their creamy humus that is so good with warm pita bread. We will keep coming back here like always. In all these years they never cut edges or change their quality. It is always consistent and good. Totally recommend it. I didn't take pictures this time. Come and try yourself . It is next door of the Blue oaks Cinemark movie theater. What an incredible dining experience! This Mediterranean restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing--full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. I ordered the mixed grill, which featured three different types of lamb. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of lamb, but this changed everything for me. Every bite was tender, juicy, and so delicious--I genuinely loved it all! The service was just as impressive. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. It's clear this place takes pride not only in their food but also in creating a great experience for their guests. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Without a doubt, the finest Turkish dining experience in North America. The food quality is unbelievable, and the staff are always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. You truly feel so well taken care of. You can tell the owner/head chef runs a tight ship because everything operates like clockwork. We visit from Toronto regularly, and dining at Anatolian Table is genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. Yesterday, my companions and I dined at Anatolian Table in Rocklin. Regrettably, our experience left much to be desired, primarily due to shortcomings in both the service and food quantity. The menu prices were notably high, yet the portions we received were disappointingly small in comparison. Very yummy real Turkish food, please don't mixed up the Mediterranean food with the Turkish food. They are two separate food and have different taste, Turkish food is the best at Anatolia restaurant. read more
