This is the 6th Falafel Corner location I've been to in the Sacramento area and I won't be going back. I was craving a yummy Falafel Corner Chicken Shawarma wrap and visited the Granite Bay restaurant which was closest to my location at the time. I should've known something was not right about this Falafel Corner when I was greeted by a white boy who didn't know what Chicken Shwarma was. My food was truly awful and tasted nothing like the Chicken Shawarma at the other 5 locations I've been to. This version of the wrap had hardly any meat which BYW did not taste anything like Falfel Corner Chicken Shawarma. Instead of being packed with delicious chicken and onions, this wrap had spinach filler mixed in with the chicken and everything was completely drenched in a nasty sauce that absolutely was not tahini or tzatziki. It almost tasted fishy and looked slightly pink. It was totally gross. I ate a few bites and threw that nasty sandwich in my compost. I would have asked for my money back if I was eating onsite. But unfortunately I took this nasty wrap to go and didn't know what I was in for until I got home. One thing is for sure, I will never return to this Falafel Corner location ever again. read more

Was craving some Mediterranean food and lo and behold down the street was Falafel Corner. Lady taking orders and making food was very nice and helpful with what the food portions are like. Store isn't very large but they have several tables. Placed my order and 10 minutes later I was on my way home. Food was excellent! read more

Delicious! Every menu item we have tried has been fantastic. My favorite is the chicken shawarma, but the gyro meat is excellent, too. The falafel here are the best I have ever had anywhere. Hummus is creamy and delicious. Pita bread is soft and fresh. Portions are generous. Easily my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the greater Sacramento area. read more

Came in on a weekday at lunchtime. Not busy, found good parking. It's easy to find, right on the corner of Sierra College and Douglas by other restaurants. I was pretty disappointed and won't be returning. The restaurant is small and hot inside. Every single surface was sticky. My shoes were sticking to the floor. The table was sticky, the chairs were sticky.... I ordered a Gyro sandwich and a side of french fries. No drink. It was $21.00. That's a lot for me for lunch, but I thought - dang it must be good for that price. Well, no. It was not good and it was SMALL. I waited about ten minutes even though no one ordered before me or after me - no big deal. When he handed me the bag it was so light!! Very small portion of skinny fries, undercooked. Very small Gyro sandwich. The sandwich was supposed to have tzatziki on it - but it was beige and did not taste anything like tzatziki. The lettuce was brown and old. The meat was not delicious. The ketchup packets were generic and the ketchup came out thin, like water. Ew. Overall a bad experience. SO expensive. read more

Food was horrible. Ordered to go and was met with: "it's going to be a while if you still want to order". Then received a deep sigh and an eye roll when I said I'd wait and would still like to order "what do you want?" There were 2 groups in the restaurant both of which already had their food. I told them no rush, I'm willing to wait...another eye roll. Once my order was ready there was the most overcooked meat in the gyro wrap and the fries were overcooked as well. I highly do not recommend this location. They advertised being open till 8 but I just came here on a Friday night at 7:40 and the doors are already locked. All the lights are on and the employee inside just keeps looking at me outside of the door shaking his head like I'm stupid and not coming to talk to me at all while closing down the restaurant. You should stay open to your advertised time & if you can't honor that at least take the time to come talk to a customer instead of rolling your eyes and shaking your head. A friend introduced me to the Elk Grove location and I was hooked. I had the combo platter and also tried the falafel platter at the Granite Bay location. Absolutely delicious food with large portions. Don't forget the baklava or Turkish delight for dessert. read more

I honestly have nothing but amazing words for this location. The food is consistently delicious, the quality is amazing! I am stuck in the hospital on bedrest awaiting the arrival of my little one. And craving my favorite wrap. I had it DoorDashed and to no fault of the restaurants was first brought to the wrong location. Unfortunately there was the tiniest mistake to where I was unable to eat the order that was delivered to me. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman's name, but he went above and beyond. They were seconds away from closing DoorDash orders for their restaurant so he went out of his way, remade and brought my food and then some right to the hospital for me, himself! The Falafel dishes here are on point and we were looking to satisfy our Mediterranean food cravings. We each got the falafel plates and I think our total came to around $27, which was on the pricier side, but everything was really good, so I have no complaints. We stopped here after a day out hiking as we were thinking about a place on our way home from riding on the bike trails. We usually get falafels from a place in Rocklin so we are a bit biased as they include lentil soup and a bit of baklava with every order and we are spoiled. What I loved about this place was that even though they were busy they took the moment to ask if we were vegan as we asked for no taziki sauce with the stuffed grape leaves and substituted hummus without our asking. Then I ordered a combo plate the salad was good, the hummus was the best I've ever eaten. The pita bread was soft and tasty. The giro meat was cooked perfectly as well as the chicken. This was place is awesome, and the best place to get a gyro in the area. We ordered a gyro wrap, a chicken wrap, and a side of falafel; all of which were fantastic. The gyro wrap was the largest gyro I've had, and also the best I've had in the area. The chicken and falafel were both delicious and perfectly prepared. If you are looking for great falafel, look no further. The falafel here is great! Some of the best I've ever had. I had the falafel wrap and it was delicious. The falafel had great flavor, a wonderful crunch with a moist center and just the right amount of seasoning. The veggies in the wrap were fresh and crisp and the sauces creamy and delicious. Couldn't have been better in my opinion. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet, but they have gyros, shawarma, hamburgers, fries and a lot more. It will be hard for me to get past the falafel on the menu since it was soooo good, but I will try the combo platter next time so I can taste more of their menu. read more

Their food is very good!! I pre ordered and I was glad I did because the wait was 40 minutes. They were short staffed and only 2 guys running the business in a busy day. Their place reminded me of the halal guys. Loved that they added a lot of white sauce to my plate, I didn't like they charge for giving you pitas which should come at least one per plate but it wasn't a deal breaker. My only suggestion would be that if the owner decides to show up first thing should be wash your hands but instead he jumped to help the kid making the food which I felt a big grossed specially with Covid. I got the combo plate, it was a lot that my son and I shared. Will be coming back. Hoping they keep hygiene a priority. read more
