Intimidation tactics are a strange way to handle a customer concern. Being accused of having the wrong bill when there was clearly confusion surrounding my tab was frustrating and unnecessary. I wasn't looking for free food, discounts, or compensation from Julia (my server), Rachel (the bartender), or the manager, Alex. I simply wanted an accurate bill, a receipt, and a professional resolution. Rachel's service at the bar was disappointing. It also felt odd that before I had even put my ID back in my wallet, I was already being pressed for payment. The interaction felt rushed and unnecessarily tense. I was also left wondering how I ended up with a tab associated with Natasha, who had already closed out earlier in the evening. The Moscow Mule was okay, but the overall bar experience left a lot to be desired. The food itself was average. I ordered boneless lemon pepper wings per my servers recommendation but was served bone-in wings instead, and no one asked whether I wanted bone-in or boneless when I placed my order--a fairly standard question when someone orders wings. The lemon pepper seasoning was good, and it's clear the kitchen is doing its best despite the front-of-house issues. Ivy, the hostess, was the highlight of my visit. She was welcoming, professional, and helped make an otherwise uncomfortable experience more pleasant. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience didn't match the effort coming from the kitchen. Communication seemed disorganized, and the handling of a straightforward billing concern felt unnecessarily confrontational. I can understand why so many experienced team members are no longer there if this reflects the current culture. I'm hopeful that security footage and, if necessary, the Roseville Police Department can help clarify what occurred with the billing. I'm also confident Conrad will review the situation thoroughly and determine exactly where the confusion happened. Overall, while the kitchen continues to put out flavorful food, the service, professionalism, and handling of a simple billing issue left me disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve communication, accuracy, and the overall guest experience. Stick to their sliders, the California roll used to be fire, the poke nachos, or their spinach and artichoke dip. The food was half off and the Mai Tais were $2 off each one. Our server was Brittney, who was awful. She's very attentive, very friendly, and very helpful. She made some great suggestions, too. They give you red sauce and green sauce in the side in 4oz dishes, but give you what you want most, the sour cream and guacamole in stupid little 2oz dishes and they want $2 each to upgrade to 4oz dishes. Our group of seven arrived before the 11am opening and it took about five minutes for the staff to coordinate pushing two tables together to accommodate us. We were unable to choose outside dining as the staff for that area did not arrive until 11:30am. We were very well taken care of by April. We were in no hurry and our drinks (mostly beer) and food (all sorts) were consumed during much conversation. I enjoyed the double decker BLT. Which was wonderful. The bread was nicely toasted, all ingredients fresh and flavorful. Not a fan of mayo, but they didn't overdo it. Pretty sure everyone ordered something different, and each dish was enjoyed. We spent Thanksgiving a little different this year. My Mom and Dad made reservations for 3 pm..it was pretty busy but parking was still easy to find. The restaurant was very busy.
