I was happy about that because my front door was not secure and I was about to go out of town for an extended period of time. The lockset on my narrow stile door is not a garden variety lock and has many variations and nuances. The locksmith was puzzled from the get-go and when I offered some advice, he welcomed my input. I am technically capable and had worked on the lockset before. Regrettably, he did not follow my guidance on how to complete one of the tasks in the reassembly process and as a consequence, one tiny screw could not be installed. The holes were slightly misaligned. So he just left it out. The lock worked and was safe, but the cover plate would bind on the jam. To his credit, he told me about it and gave me the screw. After he left, I disassembled the lock to the point of being able to make the adjustments necessary so that the screw could be installed and then reassembled everything. The main plus was that he came out right away and brought the replacement lock components that I could not obtain locally and got my lock functional within hours. Had I been able to buy the part myself I would have done the work myself. I'm pleased with everything, even considering that I had to redo some of it. I think it is unreasonable to expect any particular locksmith to know the nuances of every possible lock, especially unusual / exotic ones, so I'm OK with it and will call Howard again if I find myself in a bind.

Yobi did a great job boring out a bigger required door hole size as well as getting things in good alignment for deadbolt movement. He also analyzed all of the other door locks in the house for proper operation and provided very detailed comments on items to consider for future upgrades. 6 key copies were made and all of them work fine for locking and unlocking the doors. I highly recommend using A Anykind Lock & Safe for locksmith needs.
