GREAT customer service with Jeremiah and Aiden today. My elderly mother-in-law had a remote start device that hasn't worked in 3 years. The company that made the starter is no longer in business, but that did not stop these guys from troubleshooting. Jeremiah went above and beyond to get her remoter starter working, and charged us a minimal amount to make that happen- despite working on the system for 2+ hours. What happened today with how they took care of us laid the groundwork for the future if we (or anyone else we know who lives in Anchorage) ever need a remote or sound system installed. These guys back up what they advertise on their website, and that is refreshing and exciting. I took my toyota in to have a remote start installed. I get a phone call from them saying that my car will not start, and they had asked their "mechanic" friends from the shop next door what they thought. They said it needed a new starter, and it's a common problem in my type of toyota. So, being strapped for what to do, I said okay, fix it. I paid for the Auto Start and I paid for the Starter and labor. Before then, I never encountered any problems starting my car. But since then, I have to jump start it and it has a difficult time staying started. (It was a new battery last year). Also, I asked the toyota dealer about the starter issue, and they told me it was very rare issue for my make of car. What once was a trust worthy car, is no longer so. read more

Great customer service! Efficient! Responsive! Courteous! My remote key stopped working. Much to my dismay, Nick, the owner, informed me my remote was no longer produced. Despite the fact he doesn't sell the brand, he offered to program it. He recommended that I look on EBay. Score! I was able to schedule through email to bring it in (very efficient way of communicating!) Nick did the work himself. The front desk woman was so rude to me. And I mixed up the time of my appointment there with the time of a different appointment and they didn't even bother to tell me, instead they were just rude. My appointment with them was supposed to be in a few weeks I guess and I just figured it out. They even told me that they had found my appointment but didn't tell me I had it wrong! Nick is not only knowledgeable but professional and a no holds bared kind of guy! He gives it to you straight and honest, he is absolutely the best in the business! He even fixes "the other guys" errors. I saw him do it while dropping of my car. Today Nick did a full tint and bass amp on my husbands brand new already top of the line Malibu! The windows are AMAZING! The bass is booming at only half its abilities! We will never, ever go anywhere else! If you want it right take it to the right place the first time! I've got to take a minute and say thank you for such a great installation of a new Sony stereo and back-up camera. From the initial phone call to drop off and pickup. The entire process was impressive today with everything happening over the phone I called Anchorage remote start and sound as they've installed all my remote starts. I had no idea what I needed but I knew what I wanted which was a stereo that would allow our new teenage daughter to use hands free phone calls and navigation. Jade had us dialed in with the right Sony system and then I asked about back up cameras boom sold. We received a text the day before confirming the appointment and drop off was easy peasy. Jade let us know about when the car would be ready. Upon picking up the car they spent a few minutes discussing the radio features and we were on our way. We feel better with the safety features added and our new driver is ecstatic about the "upgrade" to the car. read more

I found out about Anchorage remote start and sound from a co-worker on Thursday. Called them that day, set up an appointment for Saturday. This isn't a place where you walk in and they start trying to sell you something else. The prices are affordable, i'm guessing because the set up isn't fancy.. just enough to greet customers and get the job done. There is a waiting area with a love seat, TV and video game console for anyone who wants to wait out the install. I left my car around 10:30, went to work and got the call at 4 everything was done. How the autostart works was explained and all of my questions answered without an eye roll. I recommend Anchorage auto start and sound to anyone looking for a quick, courteous, affordable service. read more

ARS&S doesn't respond to messages through their company's website nor do they answer the phone. My wife went in to speak them directly about upgrading our starter and the tech barely had time to schedule an appointment and was just overall short. It's possible he just didn't need the business or maybe he needs to think about hiring some good help. We thought better of taking our vehicle to him and got excellent service at Safe & Sound. Nick and his team are extremely busy but it's understandable. They go out of there way to ensure the customer is well informed and satisfied. They installed a Smart System into my Audi Q5 which works faultlessly. Their shop and waiting area isn't fancy but it is truly functional. I did some price comparison and their product was very reasonable. If u are in the need of an auto start I would strongly recommend Anchroage Start and Sound. My only recommendation is they should consider a military or seniors discount to help drive more business! read more

Great job and lightning fast installation on a remote start for my Chevy truck. I called around town looking for prices and availability. Since it's getting colder now all the installation shops are very busy and most are booking weeks in advance now. I talked with Nick and he was very helpful on the phone. I had a two way remote start installed in March 2018 with Anchorage Remote Start and Sound. I found them because I had an older remote start system on my manual transmission Toyota truck that wasn't meeting my needs. When I contacted them by phone, I explained I was looking for a replacement system and they talked to me about the options available. They were able to schedule me soon after making my decision to install a new 2 way system. They answered all my questions and were able to remove the old inoperative remote start system and replace it with a reliable system from Autostart. I appreciated their competitive pricing, the time they took to answer my questions, and the fact that they preformed the work in the time frame that they promised. This place is my favorite here in town the I went because I didn't have no choice because the the place I was recommended to got to was absolute joke I went twice and again I got disappointed so I said to myself let me try here since its just down the road of where I live and I need to get my sound system up and going because it's been a week that I was not working so as I walk in I got greeted by the best technician owner and I told him what I had been going through and what's the problem I need to fix with my sound system he told me that he needs to take a look at it to see what he was dealing with we went to my car and went back inside sure enough the point me the amp that was he selling them at his shop and told me that here's what you need for those speaker you have I was kind of ignoring him just want to make the appointment and leave so I schedule one and I left as I got in to my car ad left I realize that all the stuff from his shop are the same brand with the speaker in my trunk so I remember the price of the amp when he told me that I need man I went back and I couldnt ask for more from this guy he went over the top and hook me up until right now I still talk about it with my friends and family I would go back for more I'm planning to get more work done with my car and I know where to go now I would recommend anybody to go and check him out I mean he's one man shop guy and he get my car done in a matter of hours and this popular audio shop here in tow supposedly the best had more than four guys and working in there shop told me to take my car the next day morning had it all day call me that my car is ready and went I went to pick it up they didn't even do anything to it and this guy was only one in there when I brought my car and more people drop there car while I was waiting in he's shop for my ride and still got it done earlier than he told me wow he's absolute beast what nice customer service read more
