The new location has terrible parking! The new "look" is amazing! The pictures and the designs on the tables were pretty dope too! But to be totally honest, my food was not as good as it was my past few visits. It was literally just ok and the prices have been raised! They did not used to sell half sandwiches and why would I pay $14 for that!?? So I ordered a full with a side of mac n cheese (which I could've skipped because it wasn't great at all). This was an HOUR drive and unfortunately this time it wasn't worth it. Even the tomato soup didn't taste the same, it wasn't nasty but it wasn't delicious like it used to be. So I asked for the food to stay and it was given to me in a to go platter bc they didn't have any clean wooden trays they serve the sandwich on if you stay in to eat. There isn't a lot of space and their were only 3 employees one in which came in and jumped right on the register as another employee went into the back to assist. I asked what was recommended and was told the Atl so I went with that and requested no Swiss I was told it's a blend but don't worry I won't taste it so I trusted them. It took about 10-15min for my order and the sandwich comes with a sample size tomato soup that was pleasant. The sandwich had cornbread included in which I thought would be crumbles but was a whole slice in the middle which ultimately took over the sandwich. I only ate half of the sandwich as I ordered the Mac and cheese which was pre cooked and just heated up and served in a coffee cup with top. Not to mention here we are a few hours later and my stomach is in shambles and this is the only thing I've had all day. Let's just say for the $24 spent I'm very much disappointed. read more

Went to this location in early September 2023 - It smells really good when you are walking in the mall - nothing like a grilled cheese and tomato soup on a chill afternoon or evening. This is the thing, it comes across as a pop up shop. No real gas connections or fans pushing out the exhaust of smoke from the grilling - the set up is simple but it doesn't seem very, it just seems to me like the experience is more powerful when you have cooks wearing all white, covered faces and grins behind the masks. This is my second time coming to this place, and something is up with the soup! lol I'm just wondering, how hard can it be to upkeep soup? I originally wanted the Beltline, but didn't want the collard greens on the sandwich and wanted them on the side. To do this, it would have been an upcharge, which I didn't think was worth it. The ambience was decent but a some amount of food was spilled all over the floor. The service was too slow since there was only one guy doing everything. In 5 minutes he completed and without even consulting us, he started to put them in the ToGo box. I noticed and I mentioned I didn't ask for a ToGo, I wanted 'For here'. At around 7:45 he's saying he's getting ready to close the restaurant and he said he can't allow us to do Dine in. I asked him "isn't 8PM the closing time?" to which he repeated the same thing that he needs to close. He didn't even care to mention that while taking the order. I was super hungry and equally pissed off at this kind of service and response. I don't even understand why did I even tip him. A Big Noooooo to this place especially for its service. Wow so glad I finally stopped in at & Cheese. The ATL sandwich was my favorite thing I have eaten in a long time. How they managed to get cornbread, greens, Mac and cheese and more into that sandwich without overloading the bread is beyond me. Unlike many grilled cheese/tomato soup combos I've had, the soup actually lifted the sandwich instead of making it heavier. It was light and refreshing - a tomato lovers tomato soup.
